The gates of the ancient ruins slowly opened, and a chilling blast of air rushed out, instantly lowering the surrounding air to freezing point. Zhang Peng and the others instinctively wrapped their clothes tighter, gripped their weapons more firmly, and slowly stepped into the ruins.

Inside the door was a long corridor, its walls made of massive blocks of ice, emitting a chilling blue light. Strange creatures seemed to be sealed within the ice, their forms contorted as if struggling in agony, sending shivers down the spine of anyone who saw them.

"The atmosphere here is so eerie," Lin Wan'er whispered, her voice echoing through the passage, adding to the sinister atmosphere.

Li Ming cautiously observed his surroundings: "Everyone be careful, I have a feeling that something is watching us."

Zhang Peng nodded. He could sense a powerful and unknown force surging deep within the ruins, seemingly awaiting their arrival. He gripped the Five Elements Spirit Pearl tightly, attempting to use its power to perceive the surrounding dangers.

The group walked along the passage, their footsteps ringing out clearly in the silent space. Suddenly, ice spikes shot out from the ice blocks on both sides of the passage, hurtling towards them like lightning.

"Watch out!" Zhang Peng shouted, quickly swinging his longsword and infusing it with the five elements' spiritual power, forming a five-colored light barrier that blocked the ice spikes. However, there were too many ice spikes, and the light barrier began to crack under the constant impact.

"Everyone, attack together!" Li Ming shouted. He, Lin Wan'er, and Su Yao simultaneously cast spells, their light flashing and echoing Zhang Peng's multicolored light screen, working together to resist the attack of the ice spikes.

After a fierce resistance, the ice spikes finally stopped attacking. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief, but before they could even catch their breath, a group of ice golems suddenly surged out from the front of the passage. The battle intensified. The ice golems were incredibly powerful and relentless in their attacks. The group's spiritual energy was gradually depleted in the fierce fighting, and everyone suffered varying degrees of frostbite.

However, just as he was about to reach the ice platform, a giant ice golem suddenly rushed out from the side, wielding an ice axe and hacking at him. Zhang Peng couldn't dodge in time and was struck by the ice axe, his body flying backward and crashing heavily to the ground.

"Zhang Peng!" Li Ming and the others exclaimed. They wanted to rush over to help, but they were tightly entangled by the ice golems and could not break free.
