Chapter 269 Return to Tatooine
“The old Galactic Republic no longer exists.” Jadin stared at Anakin and said slowly, as if stating an unchangeable fact.
However, Anakin's gaze passed over him, landing on the distant starry sky, as if searching for something.
“Perhaps the X-wing fighters are still on their way,” Jadin continued, trying to comfort Anakin with a reasonable explanation, but his words seemed somewhat powerless in Anakin’s silence.
Suddenly, Anakin seemed to be touched by something; his body trembled slightly, and he turned his head to look directly into Jadin's eyes, saying, "No, I sense the Force of many who have passed away."
Jadin was stunned; he knew that Anakin's perception of the Force far surpassed that of ordinary people.
If he says he sensed the Force of the deceased, then it is very likely true.
"Are you sure?" Jadin's voice carried a hint of doubt. "Maybe this is just your imagination..."
“I’m sure,” Anakin interrupted him. “I can sense their presence. Their Force fluctuations are on Coruscant, and I recognize the Force fluctuations of many of them.”
Jadin fell silent, pondering Anakin's words. If Anakin wasn't lying, then what did it mean? Did some of the Old Galactic Republic still exist? Or was it merely an echo of the Force?
"So, is there anything you regret that you want to make up for?" Jadin finally asked, thinking that he might have encountered a time travel situation.
Anakin's gaze became somewhat complicated; he seemed to be recalling things from the past.
After a while, he slowly said, "We shouldn't interfere too much with the course of history... but there are some things I still want to change."
"For example?" Jadin pressed.
"Could I go to Tatooine?" Anakin's voice held a hint of pleading. "My old home is there, and there are people I want to see."
Jadin looked at Anakin and could sense the longing and inner conflict within him. Finally, he nodded and said, "No problem."
Then, Jadin turned to look at the star map and gave the command to the Wanderer: "Wanderer, adjust your course, we're going to Tatooine."
"Received, adjusting course." The Wanderer's voice rang out in the cockpit. With a slight vibration, the ship began to turn and fly towards Tatooine.
Surrounded by blue light and a matrix, the Wanderer gradually disappeared into space, leaving behind a silent darkness.
However, Anakin's powerful Force, a mixture of light and darkness, had already been sensed by the Jedi and the Sith Lord. It was like a star hidden deep in the universe, emitting a faint but undeniable light.
“A variable, a huge one.” Yoda, located in the Jedi Temple, looked up at the spot where the Wanderer had just left.
Palpatine, who was in the conference room, suddenly felt a powerful surge of Force energy.
This Force did not come from anyone he knew, but was a completely new and unfamiliar power.
His gaze swept quickly around him, trying to find the source of this primal force, but to no avail.
Palpatine's eyes began to flicker with uncertainty as he pondered to himself, "Where is this Force coming from? Could it be that someone with a powerful Force is secretly watching me?"
The more he thought about it, the more uneasy he felt, because he knew that the power of the Force was limitless. If this mysterious person could control both the light and dark sides of the Force, then he could very well become a huge threat to him.
At the same time, Jadin told the chat group about his experience of time travel.
Then, Jadin skillfully granted Chirshaj's request to enter.
When Kirsar appeared on the Wanderer, Jadin was somewhat surprised, because he found that Tarachin had not come along.
However, his surprise was only momentary, and he quickly regained his composure.
Anakin, on the other hand, knew quite a bit about this ship girl who was scantily clad, had a hot figure, and whose enormous treasure chests were particularly eye-catching.
For example, she can shatter mountains with a single punch, and she has those blue eyes that can only see reality.
“Hello, Ms. Kirsage,” Anakin greeted Kirsage respectfully. “I have a request, and I wonder if you could help me?”
Kilsager seemed to be in a good mood, and she replied with a smile, "Go ahead."
Anakin took a deep breath and then slowly said, "Can you see my mother?"
Upon hearing the sound, Kirsaj slowly opened her Tzeentch Eyes, her gaze fixed intently on Tatooine.
At this moment, the Wanderer had quietly arrived in high orbit around Tatooine, and the planet seemed unaware of the Wanderer's presence in its stealthy state.
“Well, she was captured by a group of strange people…” Before Kirsa could finish speaking, Anakin interrupted him.
Anakin rushed toward Jadin with great anxiety, asking urgently, "Could I borrow your Wing Zero?"
Upon seeing this, Jadin's lips curled up slightly, revealing a meaningful smile, but apart from Kirsaji, no one could see his expression under his helmet.
He didn't answer Anakin's question directly, but turned to the Wanderer's artificial intelligence and said, "Wanderer, take us to find our Skywalker General's mother."
The Rover's AI quickly responded: "Coordinates received. Entering the Tatooine atmosphere."
Hearing this, Anakin felt a huge weight lifted from his shoulders. He breathed a sigh of relief and solemnly said to Jadin, "Thank you."
However, Kara, standing to the side, felt somewhat uncomfortable.
She couldn't help but start to doubt whether she should stay there, because she seemed to have overheard something very important.
At this moment, Jadin also noticed a somewhat unusual figure—Kara.
She was trying to blend into her surroundings, as if she had become an inconspicuous background.
However, there is no use for eggs.
This former Imperial Shock Force member did not appear panicked after being discovered.
Instead, she appeared unusually calm, slowly putting down the toy she was holding, and then raising her hands without hesitation to show that she had no hostility.
"If you intend to silence me, can't you just give me a quick death?" Kara's voice was calm, as if she had long since become indifferent to life and death.
However, Jadin and the other two did not react much to what she said.
They simply looked away from Kara and continued their own conversation, completely ignoring her presence.
Kara was not discouraged by such a cold reception.
She slowly lowered her hands, a faint smile appearing on her lips.
Then, she crouched down and whispered to the Gugu on the ground, which was looking up at her with a puzzled expression, "It seems we're safe for now."
