Kilsager and Chat Groups
Chapter 268 The Old Galactic Republic
"Mengsk escaped?" Kirsaj stared wide-eyed in astonishment as the Dominion started its engines and sped away like an arrow.
She was completely unprepared for this situation and was quite startled.
Seeing this, Valerian sighed helplessly and muttered to himself, "It seems my father's clones aren't too stupid after all."
His voice revealed a hint of disappointment and helplessness, as if he had been mentally prepared for this outcome.
Valerian calmed himself down a bit, turned to Renault, and asked, "Do you think he'll come back?"
His eyes held a hint of expectation, hoping to get a positive answer from Renault.
Kilsager paused for a moment, then slowly shook his head and replied, "I don't see him in the future of the Koprulu Sector."
Her tone was calm and firm, as if she already knew the outcome.
Kirsaj clutched a small trinket that looked like a double-headed eagle in his hand. Reno, who was standing next to him, looked at the trinket and said thoughtfully, "It seems that Mengsk's clone really doesn't intend to come back."
For a moment, a suffocating silence filled the air, as if time itself had frozen.
The group exchanged bewildered glances, all pondering the same question: Did this mean they had completed their mission? If not, wouldn't it mean they would have to hunt down this clone across the entire universe?
Like a startled fawn, Tina suddenly lunged at Killzae, clinging tightly to her leg as if it were her last lifeline.
Her eyes were filled with tears, which streamed down her cheeks like a burst dam, leaving two distinct tear tracks.
Tina raised her head, gazing pitifully at Killer Killer with her big, watery eyes, and pleaded, "Killer Killer, please use your invincible wisdom to think of a solution!"
Killer was startled by Tina's sudden action, and a fine layer of sweat instantly appeared on his forehead.
She inwardly groaned. If this mission wasn't considered a success, wouldn't she be reduced to a mere tool for finding routes? That was definitely not the outcome she wanted.
Moreover, as everyone knows, the chosen ones of the Tzeentch family usually possess amazing wisdom.
Regardless of whether they are truly exceptionally intelligent, their "wisdom" is certainly astonishing.
Kirsage, who was favored by Tzeentch, never thought she had any great wisdom. If she were to carry out any big plan, it would definitely be "world-shaking wisdom".
She knew very well that the reason she was able to thwart the enemy's plans time and time again was mainly because of the existence of the supermodel, Tzeentch's Eye.
Group Customer Service: The major mission in the Koprulu Sector has been completed. Other group members will return to their respective worlds as appropriate.
After receiving confirmation, everyone breathed a sigh of relief, and the tense atmosphere instantly eased.
Tina breathed a sigh of relief as she loosened her grip on Killer's thighs and raised her small hand towards him.
Seeing this, Killer smiled helplessly. He slowly bent down and carefully pulled Tina into his arms.
Since the fierce battle had ended, all the ground units summoned by the group members vanished without a trace, like smoke.
Surprisingly, one of the Jedi Knights accompanying Jadin was not sent back.
As Jadin returned to the bridge of the Wanderer, he suddenly noticed a blue light shining beside him.
He looked closely and was surprised to find that it was Anakin!
"Anakin, there's no danger here... How did you get here!?" Jadin exclaimed, his face filled with disbelief.
Anakin looked equally suspicious. He stared at Jadin and asked in bewilderment, "Aren't you going off to fight another new battle?"
Just then, Kara walked over carrying Gugu. As soon as she saw Anakin, she exclaimed excitedly, "Wow, a Jedi!"
Then she turned to Gugu and said gently, "Look, the Mandalorian is back. I told you he'd be alright."
Upon hearing Kara's words, Anakin extinguished his lightsaber and turned his gaze to Gugu.
"Where did you find him?" Anakin's voice revealed a hint of surprise as he stared at Gugu, as if he could sense a powerful Force potential through that small body.
The existence of this little guy reminded him of Master Yoda; without a doubt, they belonged to the same race.
Jadin replied with a serious expression, "It's the Empire's bounty order."
His tone carried a hint of helplessness, as if he was not surprised by the discovery.
During their previous fierce battles, Jadin and Anakin had developed a deep friendship, trusting each other and becoming reliable comrades.
"This is terrible," Anakin muttered to himself. He sheathed his lightsaber, slowly bent down, and gently picked up Gugu.
The little guy looked at him curiously, his big, round eyes filled with confusion.
"Would you like to learn the Force, little guy?" Anakin asked Gugu with a smile, trying to communicate with it in a gentle tone.
However, Gu Gu clearly only half understood what he was saying, tilting her head and blinking her eyes, as if trying to figure out what this strange uncle was talking about.
Just then, Kara's voice broke the silence: "Hey guys, I think you should look outside."
A hint of nervousness in her tone immediately alerted Anakin and Jadin.
The two looked out the porthole at the same time, and saw a tiny point of light twinkling in the dark universe.
Suddenly, the point of light seemed to be ignited, bursting out with dazzling light that instantly enveloped the entire Wanderer.
Under the intense white light, Anakin, Jadin, and Kara all felt dizzy, their vision completely obscured by the light.
As the light faded, they were astonished to find that the Wanderer and all its crew had vanished without a trace, as if they had never existed.
"Wanderer, where are we now?" Jadin's voice was filled with anxiety. He immediately asked the Wanderer's artificial intelligence system, hoping to get some information about their current location.
“According to the star map, we should now be in the Galactic Republic’s capital system,” the Wanderer replied with certainty.
Upon hearing this, Jadin frowned slightly. He turned to look at the radar screen, but it was completely empty.
This is clearly not right. If this really is Coruscant, then logically they should be surrounded by a large number of X-wing fighters by now.
A sense of foreboding welled up in Jadin's heart, and he quickly turned his gaze out of the porthole, trying to find the X-wing fighters that should have been there in the vast universe.
However, apart from the endless darkness and twinkling stars, there was no other object in sight outside the window.
"Where are they?" Jadin muttered to himself, his voice revealing a hint of anxiety and confusion.
Anakin, who was standing nearby, was also somewhat surprised, but he did not show as much concern as Jadin.
On the contrary, he seemed to have some kind of special perception.
Anakin closed his eyes and quietly sensed the Force around him.
A moment later, he slowly opened his eyes, a relieved smile on his face.
“This is indeed the capital system of the Galactic Republic, but…” Anakin paused for a moment, then continued, “this is the old Galactic Republic.”
