Chapter 199 Brugg and Quill

After obtaining the invaluable Bescar steel, Jadin immediately headed to the Mandalorian hideout.

After careful design and refinement, a sturdy and uniquely shaped shoulder armor was successfully created.

The shoulder armor gleamed with a cold metallic sheen, but it was devoid of any other decorations or markings.

With everything ready, Jadin led El and Tina onto the spaceship—Blade's Edge—and quickly took off, heading towards Tatooine.

Along the way, El watched with great curiosity the shoulder armor that Jadin had recently acquired.

"Uncle, why is your shoulder armor on the right side? It looks a bit strange!" El, like a little monkey, circled around Jadin, who was sitting upright in the captain's seat, carefully examining the unusual shoulder armor.

Jadin patiently explained, "I usually use a pistol in combat, and putting the shoulder armor on the right side can better protect my gun-wielding arm."

After hearing this, El suddenly realized, touched his chin, nodded thoughtfully, and said, "I see! For you bounty hunters, being able to use cheap and easy-to-carry pistols is enough to deal with most situations. There is really no need to use those rifles."

However, Jadin shook his head, interrupting El: "Although the pistol is my most frequently used weapon, I actually have many other weapons, but I don't use them often."

Just then, the calm voice of the "Wanderer" suddenly rang out inside the spaceship: "Attention everyone, the warp is about to end. Please prepare accordingly. The stealth module has begun charging."

Upon hearing this, the three of them simultaneously turned their gaze to the porthole.

The view outside the porthole gradually became clearer, and the vast and boundless universe gradually unfolded before our eyes.

As the jump ended, the Wanderer's cloaking module activated instantly, and the entire spaceship silently blended into the vast and deep universe like a ghost, its existence almost imperceptible.

Immediately afterwards, a hatch slowly opened, and an old spacecraft—the Blade's Edge—shot out from inside the Wanderer, speeding toward the planet Tatooine, which was shrouded in endless yellow sand.

Jadin stepped onto the scorching ground of Tatooine, gripping his pulse rifle tightly. His sharp eyes scanned his surroundings, his entire body tense, entering a state of high alert.

Just then, El suddenly exclaimed, "What is that? It looks like a fish with two long legs!"

Looking in the direction El was pointing, you could indeed see two strangely shaped creatures moving slowly in the distance.

These two creatures not only have legs that look very disproportionate, but also two small hands, making them look quite strange.

“I don’t think ordinary fish have teeth.” Tina, holding a modified Tek sniper rifle, now focused her attention on the two strange creatures.

Because of the excellent aiming capabilities of the weapon she used, she was able to see more clearly than others.

The two creatures did indeed reveal sharp, pointed fangs, making them look quite ferocious.

"Never mind that." Al seemed a little impatient, quickly pulled out a Tek gun from his waist, and pulled the trigger without hesitation.

In an instant, two dazzling green beams shot out and struck the two strange, fish-like creatures with perfect accuracy.

After two dull thuds, the two men fell straight to the ground, raising a cloud of dust.

Upon seeing this, Jadin quickly walked towards the two fallen Brugs.

After careful observation, he said, "This is a Blergoth. These days, traces of them can be found on many planets."

However, just as everyone was still engrossed in discussing the two strange creatures, El suddenly noticed a short figure riding a Brug beast slowly approaching them.

As the man drew closer, everyone could see his face clearly—a typical alien face, quite different from the features of an Earthling.

As for what he looks like, El really doesn't want to comment too much.

The man dismounted from the back of the Brugg beast and walked straight up to Jadin, who was in charge of guard duty. He asked in a curt tone, "You killed them?"

"Who are you?" Jadin stared warily at the short, unfamiliar man in front of him, but did not respond, nor did he even draw his weapon. "Ugnaut people are rare."

He looked the other person up and down but did not detect the slightest sign that he was carrying a weapon.

At this moment, the short man known as the Ugnaut spoke up: "I have a name, Quill."

After speaking, Quill slightly raised his head, his gaze meeting Jadin's suspicious eyes.

Al, standing to the side, twirled the Tek Gun in his hand and explained unhurriedly, "Don't be nervous, these guys are just temporarily unconscious."

Upon hearing this, Quill crouched down and began to carefully examine the Brug on the ground.

After a moment, he stood up and nodded, indicating his agreement with El's statement.

“You are a bounty hunter.” Quill looked at Jadin thoughtfully, while Jadin silently took out a small and exquisite locator from his pocket and began to search for the target’s exact location with complete concentration.

Just as Jadin was about to continue, Quill suddenly shouted, "I'll help you."

As he spoke, Quill skillfully flipped and leaped onto the back of a Brugg beast, settling down securely before turning to look at Jadin.

Faced with this sudden turn of events, Jadin couldn't help but feel suspicious. He was about to ask something when Quill interrupted him bluntly, saying, "That's enough."

Before he finished speaking, Quill patted the neck of the Blerg beneath him, urging it to turn around.

As the sun was setting, Quill brought the three of them and the Brugg to his cabin.

“Many people have come here.” Quill took out a water glass and brewed hot tea for the three of them. “They all share the same goal as you.”

"Did you help them?" Jadin asked.

“I helped, but they’re all dead.” Quill handed Tina a cup of hot tea.

“Okay, I don’t know if I need your help.” Jadin suddenly felt a little scared.

“If you need it, I can take you to their camp.” Quill handed the last cup of hot tea to Jadin.

"How much do you want?" Jadin asked, setting the hot tea aside.

"half."

"Half? Taking half the bounty just for being a guide? That's too expensive." Jadin felt that the Ugnaut people in front of him were a bit strange.

"Half of the Brugs you catch are mine," Quill explained the meaning of "half."

“Breg beast? You can take both.” Jadin finally understood what the Ugnaut man in front of him wanted.

“You need one to ride,” Quill said, pointing to the Brug outside. “Without a Brug, you won’t be able to get on that road.”

“I can’t ride a Brugg.” Jadin said, somewhat puzzled.

"That's all I have to say." Quill looked up at Jadin.

"I have a feeling that Uncle is going to have to work hard." El understood what Quill meant; they were in for a good show tomorrow.
