Chapter 154 Primarch's Entry

With a deafening roar, the slug gun continuously unleashed deadly firepower, its sound echoing across the entire battlefield like thunder.

The plasma clusters traced dazzling trajectories in the air before slamming into the impregnable walls of Blackrock Fortress, instantly bursting forth with a blinding light.

These brave and fearless boarding troops, with a death wish, charged fearlessly toward the defensive line built by the Chaos defenders. Every step they took was filled with determination and courage, as they had long since disregarded life and death.

On the other side, the defenders of the Word Bearers Legion were no ordinary force either.

Not long ago, they had successfully cleared the Black Legion from Blackrock Fortress, freeing them to deal with the Imperial forces that had boarded.

They showed no fear in the face of the overwhelming Imperial boarding forces.

It's important to know that there are currently over a thousand Word Bearers at Blackrock Keep, excluding enchanted warriors.

The Imperial boarding forces charged forward fearlessly, attempting to break through the Chaos defenders' lines; while the Word Bearers, with their fortified positions and powerful firepower, stubbornly resisted the enemy's attack.

Meanwhile, in space, the massive Imperial fleet that had assembled engaged in a thrilling battle with a series of Chaos warships attempting to reinforce the Eternal Will.

The Imperial fleet blocked the Chaos ships' advance with overwhelming force, but the Chaos fleet was not to be outdone. They used flexible tactics and fierce attacks to successfully prevent other Imperial boarding forces from getting close.

Amidst this chaotic battle, only the Imperial Guard and the Primarch Guard, which had already assembled, were able to maintain a relatively good position, while the rest of the Astartes and naval boarding teams that were carrying out boarding missions were in trouble.

Lacking heavy weaponry, they were somewhat overwhelmed by the complex and formidable defenses within Blackrock Fortress. Even so, these brave warriors did not give up, gritting their teeth and persevering, using their own flesh and blood to pave the way for the troops that followed.

"Boom."

A Chaos Space Marine lay on the ground, his head missing from his power armor, leaving only his neck, which was being scorched by the intense heat.

On the other side, Raynor's Tek sniper rifle was cooling down; his elite assault force was almost at the core reactor of Blackrock Fortress.

After Raynor sniped the Word Bearer, the heavy-explosive machine guns that were blocking the Imperial Guard's advance paused for a moment. Even though other Chaos Space Marines quickly took his place, this brief period was enough for the Imperial Guard and Primarch Guard to tear apart the Word Bearer Legion's defenses.

A breach was created, and the Imperial Guards swiftly annihilated all the Chaos defenders on that line.

Ignoring the corpses scattered on the ground, the boarding troops quickly advanced towards the core of Blackrock Fortress.

"Stop here." At the next bend, Luo Jia, leading a large number of Word Bearer Space Marines, blocked the path of Raynor's boarding force.

Upon discovering Luojia, Renault immediately went on high alert, and the two sides confronted each other.

“The Invincible Army… Guilliman should have disbanded you. What made you put on this armor again?” Luo Jia saw the familiar Ultramarines, the Invincible Army, who should have ceased to exist because of Guilliman’s Codex Astartes.

Raynor: How do we deal with the Primarch? @Kirsage @Tarasin

Tarasin: I'm currently unavailable, but I can send some of the Trinity Guards over.

Kirsaj: Don't fight the Primarchs. These guys are practically unkillable and very strong.

Renault: So there's no other way?

Kirsa: I should be able to kill him easily, but I'm afraid of attracting the other one.

Kirsaëns: If the Primarch of the Iron Warriors can't beat them, he might call on a Warp Deity for help.

Kilsager: That'll be tough.

Tarasin: It's not easy for you to deal with these guys without anti-psychic equipment.

Kirsaëns: Titans should be able to handle him.

Renault: Wouldn't that mean all our efforts would be in vain?

Kilsager: Not necessarily. In terms of Primarchs, there are quite a few humans.

Renault sighed. Loka and his Word Bearers Dark Apostles opened a warp gate, from which countless demons poured out. Just as Talazin had said, without equipment specifically designed to deal with the warp, they were no match for them.

The Custodians are capable of killing anything that exists in the physical universe, but they are somewhat powerless against warp demons.

Just then, dozens of "Ever-Victorious Soldiers" slowly changed color, and Alpharis and the Lerna Primitive Guard appeared before Luo Jia.

"What made you betray the Chaos Gods?" Luo Jia frowned and questioned Alpharis, who had appeared.

“I have never betrayed you.” Alpharis stood quietly, his deep, ocean-like eyes fixed on a wall of Blackrock Fortress.

However, his gaze did not seem to be blocked by the cold, hard wall, but rather pierced straight through it, looking towards a corner in the endless void.

"My loyalty always belongs to humanity, not to the so-called empire." His voice was deep and firm, echoing endlessly in the empty Blackrock Fortress like an ancient oath.

At the same time, Alpharis slowly raised the pale spear that had been with him for so long, pointing it precisely at Luo Jia not far away.

"Can you feel it? The being known as the 'Son of the First Return' is charging furiously toward the one who killed his own offspring." Alpharis's words were like sharp blades in the cold wind, piercing the hearts of everyone present.

Luo Jia gripped his weapon tightly, and his face, which was originally covered with mysterious scriptures, twitched slightly, revealing an undisguised look of disdain.

"Hmph, what a persistent ghost! It's already dead, yet it still insists on interfering with our plans." Luo Jia said through gritted teeth, unconsciously tightening his grip on his hands, causing the weapons in his hands to emit a slight hum.

"Now, let me see... how much of your peak fighting ability you brothers can still unleash?" Luo Jia sneered provocatively.

Just then, a chilling creaking sound suddenly echoed from the depths of the shadows of Blackrock Fortress.

Immediately afterwards, a black figure slowly emerged like a ghost—it was the Raven King Corax.

He casually waved his arm, and those warp demons that tried to approach him were instantly annihilated by an invisible force, leaving not even a trace behind.

"Oh? Judging from your tone, do you now have enough confidence to compete with me?" Corax replied in a slightly mocking tone.

After all, to the Raven King who had once defeated Luo Jia, the other party was nothing more than a defeated opponent. If he, Corax, couldn't beat that obviously overpowered Eternal Chosen One, couldn't he bully Luo Jia?
