Like birds regaining their freedom, they all began their own leisurely weekend.

Chu Mengran got up early, and the dormitory was still filled with the tranquil atmosphere unique to the early morning.

There were also general stores displaying all kinds of daily necessities. The shelves at the entrance were filled with enamel basins, thermos flasks and other items. The owners stood at the store entrance, warmly greeting passersby: "Come in and have a look, we're having a sale!"

"Let's go see a movie first. I heard there's a really good romance movie that's been released recently."

Chen Dong went to the ticket window and bought two movie tickets, a bucket of popcorn, and two cups of cola.

Stepping into the movie theater, the lighting was dim, and a faint aroma of popcorn filled the air.

They found their seats and sat down. Soon after, the lights dimmed and a movie began playing on the big screen.

Chen Dong couldn't help but gently reach out and grasp Chu Mengran's hand. Chu Mengran was slightly taken aback, turned her head to look at Chen Dong, and their eyes met, exchanging a smile.

In the dimly lit movie theater, that smile, like a dazzling star, illuminated each other's hearts.

Chu Mengran felt her heart suddenly race. She leaned gently on Chen Dong's shoulder, and Chen Dong tilted his head slightly and gently kissed the top of her head. Chu Mengran's cheeks instantly turned even redder.

After the movie ended, the two walked out of the cinema hand in hand.
