Today, most of the residents remaining in the mountains are elderly and frail, or people who are unable to venture out due to limited abilities. As a result, life in the village has become increasingly impoverished and difficult.

Upon arriving in this land, Secretary Gao was not deterred by the predicament he faced. He immediately launched a thorough and meticulous investigation, conducting door-to-door visits and engaging in heart-to-heart talks with villagers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the village's poverty situation.

After careful consideration, Secretary Gao concluded that the best solution to the poverty problem in Xiongbiyan Village was to relocate the entire village. However, without special policy support from the state, the existing resources and conditions in Yongding District were simply insufficient to properly resettle such a large population.

After all, relocation is not as simple as moving people from one place to another.

Local poverty alleviation efforts face numerous challenges, but the two most critical and urgent problems to be solved are as follows: the first is the transportation issue. To change the impoverished and backward state of villages, it is essential to first establish connections with the outside world, that is, to build a road leading into the village.

However, this is no easy task. After professional surveying and design, it was found that the construction of this village road would require an investment of at least three million RMB!

Secondly, there is the issue of industry. This mountain village is located in a remote area and lacks natural resources and distinctive products with significant economic value. This winding yet solid and flat road not only provides villagers with a convenient way to the outside world, but also builds a bridge connecting hearts and dreams.
