Chapter 180: A Conversation with Bianca

"Wait a minute!" With this sharp shout, Kiana was jolted awake from her unconsciousness. Blinking her somewhat dazed eyes, it took her a while to gradually adjust to her surroundings.

When she could finally see the scene before her, she was surprised to find herself in her familiar dormitory at St. Freya Academy.

Kiana stretched out her hands and gently rubbed her throbbing temples, then turned to look out the window. It was still early, just as dawn was breaking.

"Sirin..." Kiana unconsciously murmured the name, and the last words Sirin said when they parted ways involuntarily came to mind.

Lost in thought, Kiana subconsciously raised her right hand, and in an instant, a ring of energy surged forth. Then, a Void Spear slowly emerged from the ring. Looking at the real Void Spear in her hand, Kiana murmured to herself, "It really wasn't a dream..."

Just as Kiana was about to put away the Spear of the Void, her stomach suddenly let out a loud "gurgling" sound.

Hearing the sound, Kiana looked down helplessly at her flat stomach, then gently patted it twice, muttering with a slightly aggrieved tone, "Ugh, really, why did you have to yell at this time? I wonder if Mei's awake yet, I'm so hungry..."

Kiana sighed softly, slowly sat up from the bed, picked up the coat lying beside the bed and put it on, then tiptoed out of bed, carefully opened the door, peeked out and looked around to make sure no one was around before quietly leaving the room.

The morning air was slightly cool, and a gentle breeze brushed against Kiana's cheeks, making her feel refreshed. She walked down the corridor step by step, but when she reached the bottom, she didn't see Mei. However, someone else caught her attention.

In the center of the living room, Bianca, dressed in a form-fitting leotard, held a towel and gently wiped the sweat from her body. Hearing footsteps, she immediately looked up, her eyes meeting Kiana's. "Good morning, Miss Kiana!"

"Good morning, Miss Bianca." Kiana felt a surge of nervousness upon seeing the woman hailed as Schicksal's strongest Valkyrie. She quickly responded politely and hurried towards Bianca. "Why are you up so early? Are you exercising?"

“Yes, more or less. As the saying goes, ‘The early bird catches the worm,’ and the morning is a very precious time.” Bianca nodded slightly, a faint smile appearing on her lips.

As she spoke, she stretched out her slender, long fingers and gently tidied the slightly disheveled hair on her forehead, damp with sweat. "But Miss Kiana, why are you up so early too? Are you going to exercise?"

"I..." Kiana was momentarily speechless, a faint blush rising to her face, unsure how to answer. She couldn't very well tell Bianca about what had happened between her and Sirin the previous night.

But at the same time, she felt that it would be too embarrassing to say that she got up early because she was hungry. So, after a brief hesitation, she stammered out her answer.

"It's just... it's just that getting up at this time has become a habit of mine." After saying that, Kiana lowered her head guiltily, not daring to meet Bianca's gaze.

"I see. Miss Kiana is truly disciplined." Bianca smiled and nodded in agreement, without pressing the matter further.

After all, Kiana had always been full of energy during their time together yesterday, so there was no doubt about the reason she gave.

Hearing Bianca's praise, Kiana seemed a little embarrassed, a slightly awkward smile appearing on her face as she subconsciously scratched the back of her head.

Then, as if having made up her mind, she slowly walked towards Bianca. When she finally reached Bianca, she paused slightly, seemingly organizing her thoughts, then took a deep breath, "Miss Bianca, can you tell me how to grow into the most powerful Valkyrie as quickly as possible?"

Kiana's question had barely left her lips when Bianca paused slightly, a hint of doubt flashing in her eyes. However, this doubt quickly vanished, replaced by her usual calm and composed expression.

She gently placed the towel aside, then looked up, gazing intently at Kiana's expectant face, and softly asked in return.

"The strongest Valkyrie? Miss Kiana, to become a truly powerful Valkyrie, it's not enough to just have extraordinary strength."

"The more crucial factor lies in your deepest inner belief. So, if you don't mind, could you tell me why you want to become the strongest Valkyrie?"

"Why... well, even I'm not entirely sure myself." When Bianca asked this question, Kiana visibly paused, subconsciously pursing her lips, her eyes flickering. After a long while, she slowly spoke.

"To find my stinky dad and mom! My aunt... oh no, I mean Principal Theresa said that if I become the most powerful Valkyrie, she will tell me about my stinky dad and mom."

"So, that's why I've always wanted to become the strongest Valkyrie." After saying this, Kiana let out a soft sigh of relief, feeling much lighter after revealing the secret she had kept hidden for so long.

"I see." Bianca listened quietly to Kiana's story, nodding thoughtfully. Her previously calm expression turned serious. "Miss Kiana's determination to find her lost parents is truly admirable."

Hearing Bianca's praise, Kiana scratched her head a little shyly and gave a slightly embarrassed smile. "Oh, no, I don't think I have anything admirable about me."

However, in the next second, Kiana's eyes suddenly dimmed, and her voice lowered, "But, to be honest, I'm still too weak. Even though I've tried so, so hard, I always feel like I'm still a very, very long way from that goal..."

At this point, Kiana unconsciously lowered her head, her hands hanging limply at her sides, looking somewhat dejected and disappointed.

"No one is born strong; they all grow from weakness. On this path, the most important thing is perseverance and unremitting effort."

Looking at the slightly dejected Kiana before her, Bianca felt a pang of pity. For some reason, seeing Kiana like this reminded her of herself.

Then, Bianca slowly reached out a hand and gently placed it on Kiana's head. The moment Kiana was touched by this warm hand, she raised her head slightly and met Bianca's gaze.

“If it’s possible, I’d be happy to lend you a hand,” Bianca said softly, a faint smile playing on her lips. “I can teach you some practical combat techniques that I’m sure will help you improve your strength.”

Upon hearing this, Kiana was taken aback at first, but then her face lit up with joy, and her eyes instantly shone brightly. After all, the person standing in front of her was the recognized strongest Valkyrie in the Destiny organization!

To receive her personal guidance is an opportunity that comes along only once in a lifetime. Besides, Kiana isn't stupid; how could she possibly pass up such a great opportunity?

"R-Really? Is it really possible?" Kiana's voice trembled slightly with excitement as she asked again, trying to confirm in disbelief. At that moment, she felt as if she were in a beautiful dream.

In response to Kiana's question, Bianca nodded, her smile growing even brighter. "Of course, no problem!" she said, extending her right hand towards Kiana, palm up, in an inviting gesture.

"It will probably take some time before Rita finishes making breakfast, so we can use this time to train properly."

------

After a long while, in an extremely empty field, Kiana stared wide-eyed, her face full of blankness, at Bianca, who was earnestly doing warm-up exercises.

Not long ago, when she nodded in agreement to Bianca's request to train her, the other woman stepped forward without saying a word, grabbed her tightly, and then rushed straight out the door like a gust of wind.

What happened next was like a dream to Kiana; she was completely dazed and confused.

They felt as if the various buildings in front of them were flashing by like lightning. In the blink of an eye, they had arrived at their current location. The speed was ridiculously fast!

Only at this moment did Kiana truly witness the terrifying power of the so-called strongest Valkyrie of Destiny.

After Bianca finished her warm-up exercises, she stood steadily opposite Kiana, a faint smile playing on her lips. Her relaxed demeanor made even the surrounding air seem to move with her breath.

“Alright, Miss Kiana, please don’t hold back. Attack me with all your might,” Bianca said softly, her tone calm.
