Chapter 175 Confrontation with Sirin
Upon hearing Kiana's question, the purple figure couldn't help but curse, "You stupid bastard!!!" But then she took a deep breath and calmed herself down.
Then, trying to speak calmly, she said, "Listen up, you idiot! My name is Sirin. Don't you even recognize that name?"
"Sirin? Who's that? The name sounds a little familiar..." Upon hearing the name Sirin, Kiana blinked blankly for a moment, then reached out and gently scratched her hair.
Immediately afterwards, Kiana seemed to have thought of something, and slowly lowered her hand to her small chin, frowning slightly as if she was thinking deeply.
Just then, Sirin, who was standing to the side, could no longer contain her frustration. She gritted her teeth and made a crisp "tsk" sound. Her eyes were now fixed on Kiana. Her fists were clenched so tightly that her knuckles were turning slightly white.
In the blink of an eye, Sirin's figure flashed by like a ghost and instantly appeared in front of Kiana.
Before Kiana could react, Sirin had already raised her hand and mercilessly struck Kiana's head. The blow was incredibly powerful.
With a muffled thud, Kiana felt a sudden darkness before her eyes as a tremendous impact struck her, causing her to stagger backward a few steps.
A sharp pain shot through my head, like countless steel needles piercing my brain simultaneously. Instinctively, I reached up to cover the spot where I had been hit, tears welling up uncontrollably in my eyes, quickly blurring my vision.
"Ouch! That hurts! Why did you hit me all of a sudden?" Kiana cried out pitifully, "I'm going to get Chenyuan to beat you up! He'll definitely help me!"
However, Kiana froze as soon as she finished speaking. She realized that when she mentioned the name "Chen Yuan," she didn't even know who the other person was.
"Chen Yuan? Who is Chen Yuan?" Kiana muttered to herself in confusion, repeatedly pounding her head with her hands. "I shouldn't have forgotten. This person must be very important to me. How could I forget him so easily? No, I have to remember! I must!"
"Oh dear, never mind! I hope I don't really hurt myself. If I do something bad, I won't be able to face my brother."
"All those memories about you and your brother are safely preserved here with me." Sirin narrowed her eyes slightly, looking at Kiana who was as restless as an ant on a hot pan. She shook her head helplessly, crossed her arms over her chest, and sighed softly.
"Don't blame me, I just want to find out what my brother went through with you guys during the time I was in a deep sleep."
“I’ve been struggling to find the right time to ask, but today is just right. I just woke up and I’m full of energy,” Xilin said softly, pausing before continuing.
“You would normally overlook your brother’s existence, but I never imagined that he would hold such an important place in your heart.”
"Fine, fine, since that's how it is, then I'll return your memories to you." With that, Xilin waved her hand and snapped her fingers crisply once more.
As the snap of her fingers rang out, Kiana, who had been frantically pounding her head, suddenly froze as if under a spell, standing rooted to the spot like a statue.
"Tsk tsk tsk, how can there be such a big difference when they are clearly the same person?" Sirin's lips curled up slightly, and she looked at Kiana, who was already in a daze, with a half-smile, and muttered softly.
After that, she said nothing more and just stood quietly to the side, silently waiting for Kiana to gradually come back to her senses from her chaotic thoughts.
Kiana felt a burst of intense light envelop her, and countless images flooded her mind. Chen Yuan's figure flashed through these images, from their first encounter in Changkong City to the moment at the dinner table.
"Alright, your memories have returned, it's time for you to wake up." Sirin's cold voice suddenly rang out, abruptly interrupting Kiana's wandering thoughts. She showed a hint of displeasure at Kiana's current state, which resembled that of a girl caught up in the throes of first love.
"What is about to happen has nothing to do with my brother; it is only aimed at the two of us," Xilin said calmly, her lips barely moving.
However, Kiana stared blankly at Sirin, scratched her head, and said with a puzzled look, "You and me? What nonsense are you talking about? I've never even seen you before!"
Then, as if suddenly remembering something, her eyes widened, and she said incredulously, "And what about the second Honkai? As a Herrscher, weren't you already dead? How could you possibly be here?"
Faced with Kiana's barrage of questions, Sirin simply nodded slightly, a playful smile curving her lips.
"Well, she's not exactly stupid or utterly dumb," Sirin commented softly, her gaze still fixed on Kiana. After a pause, Sirin continued slowly.
"You're right, on the surface, I am indeed dead and gone. But because of some heartless bastard, I am still alive."
“This is especially true for you. And that is why I came to find you today.” At this point, Sirin seemed to be tired of talking and stretched.
"Looking for me? I still don't quite understand?" Sensing something was wrong, Kiana felt a surge of tension. She unconsciously clenched her fists, cautiously glancing around before trying to remain calm and speaking loudly, "Explain yourself clearly, what exactly is your relationship with Chen Yuan!"
Celine's lips curled into a meaningful smile. "Our relationship... hehe, it's alright to tell you. I've become a part of my brother's life. And your fate is inextricably intertwined with his, now and in the future."
"To be honest, if I hadn't accidentally discovered in your memories that you held such a high place in my heart, I would have taken your body without hesitation long ago."
"After all, this was my original plan~" Sirin said casually, but every word was like a sharp dagger, piercing straight into Kiana's heart.
In an instant, Kiana felt as if she had fallen into an ice cellar, an unprecedented chill spreading rapidly from her spine throughout her body. Her heart pounded wildly, as if it were about to leap out of her throat.
His breathing became rapid and his chest heaved violently. His eyes widened in disbelief as he stared at the seemingly beautiful yet dangerous woman before him—Cirin.
"What did you say? You want to take my body?" Kiana stared wide-eyed in shock at Sirin, her voice trembling slightly with anger.
However, just a moment later, Kiana took a deep breath, forced herself to calm down, and quickly adjusted her emotions. Her previously flustered eyes instantly became incredibly sharp.
Immediately afterward, he stretched out his right index finger, pointing it straight at Sirin, and roared, "You won't get away with this! This body belongs entirely to me, and no one can take it from me!"
Faced with Kiana's angry rebuke, Sirin merely chuckled dismissively. Her eyes revealed undisguised disdain. "Hmph, indeed, in a sense, this body truly is yours."
“But if I really wanted to take it, it would be a piece of cake. After all… you are far too weak.” Sirin said casually, her tone full of contempt for Kiana’s strength.
"You bastard!" Kiana trembled with anger upon hearing this. Far from being intimidated by Sirin's words, she gritted her teeth, then casually raised her left hand and gently wiped her delicate nose with her sleeve.
After completing these actions, Kiana took a step without hesitation, pouncing towards Sirin like a fierce little cheetah. "This body will forever belong to me alone! And I will never surrender and obediently wait for you to take it!"
Kiana mustered all her strength and charged forward, but to her surprise, her charge did not collide with Sirin as she had expected.
On the contrary, Kiana felt as if she had crashed into nothingness, her entire body passing straight through Sirin's body without any hindrance!
"What on earth is going on?" Kiana exclaimed, her eyes wide with astonishment.
At this moment, Sirin's teasing laughter echoed in the purple space, "Hahahaha, what exactly are you trying to do, you silly white fluffy ball?"
Before she could finish speaking, Sirin's figure flashed, appearing before Kiana like a ghost in the next instant. With a slight bend of her finger and a seemingly casual flick, a powerful force erupted. Kiana had no time to react and was sent flying backward like a cannonball.
However, just as Kiana was about to crash heavily to the ground, Sirin appeared behind her again like a phantom. Sirin swiftly reached out and grabbed Kiana's clothes from behind, firmly holding her in place.
"Hmph, you're far too naive, Kiana." Sirin parted her lips slightly and slowly uttered these words, her tone filled with undisguised sarcasm.
She then turned Kiana around, forcing her to face her directly. As Sirin moved her arm, her purple robe drew a beautiful, flowing arc in the air.
"At least here, with your current strength, you absolutely cannot cause me any real harm." Sirin's lips curled up slightly, revealing a contemptuous smile.
"In this world, everything is under my control. Your every thought, every action, even your every breath, is within my grasp."
