A bed that traverses countless worlds

Lin Yu looked around. The temporary camp was in disarray, and the air was filled with the smell of sweat and scorched earth.

The dilapidated tents lay scattered haphazardly, like a group of drunken men.

The survivors were all emaciated and had empty eyes. They sat slumped on the ground like walking corpses, and the air was so heavy that it seemed to have frozen.

Rebuilding order is easier said than done.

"This environment is really killing me!" Kong Yang muttered, covering his nose with a look of disgust.

"Just bear with it for now, brother. Things will get better." Lin Yu patted Kong Yang on the shoulder, his tone firm but tinged with helplessness.

He took a deep breath and said loudly, "Everyone! I know you're all going through a tough time right now, but we can't give up hope! For survival, for the future, we need to rebuild order!"

As soon as he finished speaking, a commotion arose in the crowd.

A burly man with a face full of scars stepped forward; he was the raider leader whom Lin Yu had defeated earlier.

"Rebuild order? That sounds nice! All they want is to control us and take away our freedom!" he sneered sarcastically.

"That's right! We barely survived, why should we listen to you?" Several survivors chimed in, clearly incited by the raider leader.

The atmosphere suddenly became tense, and the air was thick with the smell of gunpowder.

Lin Yu's expression remained unchanged, but he sighed inwardly: Indeed, the biggest obstacle to rebuilding order is not the environment, but people's hearts.

He glanced at the crowd and said in a deep voice, "I understand your concerns, but I assure you that everything I have done is for the sake of your survival!"

"Talk is cheap! Who would believe that!" The raider leader sneered, continuing to fan the flames.

Lin Yu ignored his provocation; he needed to prove his determination with concrete actions and win everyone's trust.

He looked around, his gaze falling on a girl trembling in a corner, and a thought struck him.

"Bella, come here."

Bella walked over timidly, her head down, not daring to look at him.

"Are you willing to believe me?" Lin Yu asked softly.

Bella hesitated for a moment, then nodded gently.

Lin Yu smiled slightly, turned to look at the crowd, and slowly said, "Order is not about control, but about protection..." He paused, his gaze sharp, "Tomorrow, I will present a plan..."

Lin Yu did not rush to refute the raider leader's provocation. Instead, he slightly raised the corners of his mouth, revealing a profound and unfathomable smile.

He slowly raised his hand, signaling everyone to be quiet. "I know that talk is cheap, and no one will believe you if you just make empty promises. So, to avoid everyone thinking I'm running a one-man show, I've decided to have a democratic process!"

"Democracy?" Everyone looked at each other, clearly unfamiliar with the term. Even the most vocal raider leader was dumbfounded, obviously not expecting Lin Yu to pull this stunt.

"What? You can vote on this?"

Kong Yang scratched his head, looking puzzled. "Old Lin, what are you up to? This isn't a big meeting or a vote. Is this reliable?"

Lin Yu smiled mysteriously, "Don't worry, I have a brilliant plan. Let me tell you my plan first, and then everyone can vote. Raise your hand if you agree, and just pretend I didn't say anything if you disagree. Is that alright?"

Upon hearing this, everyone found it intriguing and perked up their ears.

Lin Yu cleared his throat and began to elaborate on his reconstruction plan, from the allocation of resources to the division of labor, from security patrols to future planning. He spoke eloquently and logically, leaving everyone stunned.

Su Yao has bright eyes and white teeth, and a charming smile, while Aisha is passionate and unrestrained, with a pair of big, bright eyes that sparkle like stars in the night sky.

The two gentle gazes fell on Lin Yu, as if they could melt ice and snow, making all the single people around them drool with envy and jealousy!

"Brother Lin, you've worked hard. Have something to eat first." Su Yao's voice was gentle and warm, making Lin Yu feel warm inside.

"Yes, Brother Lin, don't overwork yourself." Aisha chimed in, not forgetting to wink at him with her charm.

Lin Yu took the wooden bowl, smiled and nodded, "Thanks, beauties. With you here, I feel full of energy!" He deliberately spoke in a slightly ambiguous tone, making the two women blush shyly, while the single men around them beat their chests and wailed in despair.

After everyone had eaten and drunk their fill, Lin Yu began to formally assign tasks.

Kong Yang is in charge of logistics support and is known as the "mobile convenience store," delivering supplies wherever he goes; Su Yao and Aisha are responsible for managing the survivors and calming their emotions, making them true "spiritual mentors"; Alice is in charge of finding resources, she is ruthless and taciturn, and can be called a "wilderness survival expert"; the old craftsman leads a group of people to start repairing the damaged buildings. Although he has an eccentric temper, his skills are unparalleled, making him a veritable "infrastructure maniac."

Everyone performed their duties in an orderly manner, and the originally chaotic camp gradually came into order.
