A bed that traverses countless worlds

As Lin Yu stepped into the Demon Labyrinth, a cold and damp aura instantly enveloped him.

The maze was dimly lit, and the walls flickered with an eerie green light, as if countless eyes were watching him.

"This atmosphere is definitely like a dungeon in the underworld!" Lin Yu remarked.

Sharp stone spikes occasionally protruded from the wall, accompanied by a whistling sound, forcing him to remain constantly vigilant, dodging left and right like a nimble monkey.

"If you get pricked by that, you're done for, aren't you?"

The maze's passages were intricate and complex; Lin Yu walked for half a day, only to find himself going in circles.

"Damn, is this maze a Russian nesting doll? Even nesting dolls have an end!" He scratched his head in frustration.

The demon mentor's sinister laughter seemed to echo in his ears, making him even more certain that this was a trap.

Ahead lay another dead end, the walls etched with eerie runes, emanating an unsettling aura.

"The Abyss Witch is getting involved too? This is going to kill me!"

Time ticked by, and Lin Yu felt like a headless fly, stumbling around in this enormous maze.

"Is this going to be an endless loop? Am I going to become a permanent resident of this maze?" Just when he was about to despair, he noticed tiny scratches on the ground, almost imperceptible.

Lin Yu crouched down and examined the scratches closely; they seemed to point in a certain direction.

"Could it be..." He followed the direction of the scratches and at the end of the passage, there was a tightly closed stone door.

"Finally, some progress!" Lin Yu rubbed his hands excitedly and was about to push the door open when he heard Alice's voice from behind the door: "Don't come any closer! It's dangerous!" Lin Yu ignored Alice's warning. He noticed some strange symbols carved on the walls around the stone door. Unlike the eerie runes in the previous maze passage, these symbols seemed more like some kind of guide.

"Hehe, looks like my cheat code is about to kick in!" Lin Yu thought to himself with delight. The system on the bed started flashing, and a line of small text appeared: "Congratulations to the host for triggering the hidden mission - Solve the mystery of the maze. Reward: Demon Slayer title."

He carefully observed the symbols and discovered that their arrangement seemed to hold a hidden meaning.

"Let me think... this thing is a bit like... Sudoku?" Lin Yu stroked his chin, his brain racing as he began to analyze the patterns in the symbols.

"Look at it horizontally, vertically, diagonally...wait a minute!" He suddenly had a flash of inspiration, "Isn't this a 3x3 grid?! Am I supposed to play a matching game?" Lin Yu connected the same symbols according to the rules of the 3x3 grid, and something magical happened. The symbols on the wall emitted a dazzling light, and the stone door slowly opened.

Meanwhile, Alice, who was anxiously waiting outside the maze, was extremely worried.

"That idiot, why isn't he coming out yet! I should never have let him in!" She paced back and forth, her delicate face filled with worry.

"Could he really... have gotten into trouble?" Alice dared not think any further. She gripped the elven bow tightly in her hand, her heart filled with self-blame and regret.

"It's all my fault, why did I have to let him go on that risk alone..."

Lin Yu passed through the stone gate and found himself in a wide square. In the center of the square stood a tall altar, which exuded a strong demonic aura.

"It seems this is the center of the maze." Lin Yu took a deep breath, feeling the air around him become heavy.

He looked around and noticed some objects shimmering with a faint light in a corner of the square.

"What is that?" Lin Yu walked over curiously, picked it up and took a look. It turned out to be some demon teeth and bones.

"Huh? These things look familiar..." He suddenly remembered the strange runes he had seen in the maze passages, and they were exactly the same as the patterns on these bones!

"Could it be..." Lin Yu had a bold guess in his mind.

He arranged the bones in his hands around the altar according to the previous nine-square grid arrangement. Suddenly, the demonic aura on the altar became violent, and the entire square began to shake violently.

"Not good!" Lin Yu cried out inwardly as a powerful force pushed him to the ground.

"Lin Yu!" Alice's voice suddenly came from behind.

Alice rushed into the plaza, her elven bow gleaming, and an arrow shot towards one of the demon warriors with a whistling sound.

"Thank goodness we made it in time!" Alice breathed a sigh of relief and ran to Lin Yu's side to help him up.

"Are you OK?"

Suddenly, more demon warriors burst out from the corners of the maze, surging towards them like a tide.

"Wow, this quantity, are they doing wholesale?" Lin Yu muttered, but there was no fear in his eyes.

He leaned against the wall and managed to stand up. "Luckily, I'm still agile, otherwise I would have been done for today."

The maze's narrow terrain became Lin Yu's advantage; he moved like an eel among the demon warriors, using the terrain to evade attacks.

"Come on, come and catch me!" he taunted as he dodged, infuriating the demon warriors who howled but could do nothing to him.

The demon warriors were enormous, and their collisions in the narrow passages actually hindered their own movement.

Lin Yu seized the opportunity, and with a flash of cold light from the dagger in his hand, a demon warrior fell to the ground.

"That's it? I thought it was so amazing!"

Just then, Lin Yu's bed shook slightly, and a line of small text appeared in his mind: "Congratulations, host, for completing the hidden mission - Demon Maze Survival Challenge. Reward: Shadow Strike skill." "Shadow Strike? Sounds pretty cool!" Lin Yu was secretly delighted, feeling a powerful force surge into his body.

He took a deep breath, and his figure suddenly disappeared from the spot. When he reappeared, he was already behind a demon warrior.

"Try this!" Lin Yu shouted, and the dagger in his hand transformed into a black shadow, instantly piercing the demon warrior's heart.

More demon warriors fell, and the rest, growing fearful, retreated.

"That's it? You think you can catch me? Go home and raise pigs!" Lin Yu laughed arrogantly, feeling full of power as if he could control everything.

Suddenly, he felt a strong sense of malice coming from the direction of the altar. He looked up sharply and saw the space above the altar begin to distort, and a figure dressed in a black robe slowly emerged.

"The Abyss Witch!" Alice exclaimed in surprise. "How could she be here?!"

The Abyss Witch let out a sinister laugh: "Hehehe... You think you can escape my grasp?" She stretched out a withered finger and pointed it at Lin Yu, "You are mine!"

Lin Yu looked at the Abyss Witch, a cold smile playing on his lips: "Trying to capture me? You must still be dreaming!" He gripped the dagger in his hand, a resolute glint in his eyes. "The outcome is still uncertain!"

As Alice watched Lin Yu's retreating figure, a complex mix of emotions welled up within her.

This guy is usually glib and smooth-talking, but he's actually quite a man when it matters!

She recalled Lin Yu's past gentleness and protection towards her, and felt a pang of reluctance in her heart.

This guy, though he's sharp-tongued, always steps up for her when she's in danger.

She imagined Lin Yu's strong physique and confident eyes, and a blush rose on her face.

"Hmph, what a stubborn man, all he does is show off!" Alice cursed inwardly, but couldn't help but worry.

He has ventured deep into the abyss of demons, where his chances of survival are slim. What should she do?

These conflicting emotions tormented her, leaving her feeling utterly confused.

Lin Yu engaged in a fierce battle with the Abyss Witch, skillfully dodging her attacks while his dagger continuously drew deadly arcs.

"That's it? Old lady, is all your magic old-fashioned disco?" Lin Yu dodged and mocked, making the Abyss Witch's face turn ashen with anger.

Enraged, the Abyss Witch unleashed even more powerful magical attacks, but Lin Yu neutralized them all.

"Too slow, too slow! At your speed, even my wheelchair can't keep up!" Lin Yu mocked again, and at the same time, he seized the opportunity and stabbed the Abyss Witch in the heart with his dagger.

"Ah!" The Abyss Witch let out a scream as her body turned into a cloud of black mist and dissipated into the air.

"That's it? I thought it was something special, but it's just a paper tiger!" Lin Yu dusted himself off, looking disdainful.

Suddenly, the light on the altar became even brighter, and a powerful force pulled Lin Yu into it.

"Holy crap! What's going on?" Before Lin Yu could react, everything went black and he lost consciousness.

When Lin Yu woke up again, he found himself no longer in the maze.

He opened his eyes and saw a blood-red pond in front of him, the blood pool emitting a nauseating stench.

"What kind of hellish place is this? Which underworld dungeon is this?" Lin Yu covered his nose, looking disgusted.

He looked around and found himself standing on the edge of a pool of blood, the blood churning as if something was about to burst out of it.

"This place feels even more eerie than a maze," he muttered to himself, a vague unease creeping into his heart.

Suddenly, a chilling voice echoed from the blood pool: "Welcome to... Blood Refining Hell..."
