Huh? There's a magic school here.

Chapter 9 Where the dream begins

Hearing Adams's explanation, Andres frowned slightly. He had considered cooperating with the government in the future, but not now. His main objective now was to develop discreetly. Being both an earl and a member of the upper house seemed a bit too conspicuous; what if someone investigated him?

Putting everything else aside, the source of this money is questionable. Although it's legal income, it's unreasonable! What if someone asks, "How did you manage to win every single game?" How am I supposed to explain this to everyone? Tell them I'm a time traveler?

"What's wrong, Mr. Andres? Is there a problem?" Adams keenly noticed Andres' hesitation.

"You know I want to keep a low profile, but this whole thing—running a tourism business while also becoming an earl and a senator—doesn't align with my goals!"

"Mr. Andres, firstly, legally speaking, all the land in Britain nominally belongs to the Crown. Although we all understand that the King is now just a symbol, everyone must respect him on the surface! Therefore, to sell such a large piece of land at once, we must first obtain the consent of the Crown. In order to keep them quiet, we need to offer them some benefits!"

Of course, there are benefits too. The Royal Family will bestow upon you the title of Earl of Skye, a title the Royal Family hasn't granted in a long time. Furthermore, according to British law, high-ranking nobles automatically have seats in the House of Lords. We understand you're someone who doesn't want to cause trouble, but having this title will also help you avoid many problems.

Furthermore, I believe you will be dealing with the government frequently in the future, so this title will undoubtedly bring you considerable advantages. As for the tourism industry, this is a personal request from our historic county governor. As you know, the governor still has two years left in his term, and he's already paving the way for his son. His son will be joining the Tourism, Culture and Agriculture Bureau this year, responsible for tourism, and the governor's attitude in this matter is crucial!

Andres listened to Adams' analysis, nodding repeatedly. Indeed, he had been too focused on keeping a low profile. But being too low-key could also bring trouble. As the saying goes, playing dumb is fine, but don't end up actually being a fool!

"Adams, I have to admit you're right! Keeping a low profile is important, but legally protecting your identity is equally important. Now, let's see if there are any problems with these documents. If there are no problems, we can sign them."

"Rest assured, Mr. Andres, these documents are completely legal and compliant, without any problems! As long as you sign and pay, all the formalities can be completed this afternoon, and you can become the new owner of Sky Island!"

Andres wasn't foolish enough to believe everything the other person said. He simply listened with a smile, sipped his coffee, and waited for the professional advice from the lawyer he had brought.

Adams, on the other end, also understood that such a large deal couldn't be signed just because of his few words; the other party would definitely scrutinize the contract carefully.

So, to avoid making the atmosphere too awkward, he started to initiate conversation with Andres.

For someone who casually spends so much money on real estate, the best option is to try and become their friend.

So for the next few hours, the two talked about everything from astronomy to geography, and then from geography to politics. It was clear that Adams was a very knowledgeable person; he could talk about anything with you. It wasn't just a casual agreement; he genuinely understood the subject. When they discussed the World Cup, Andres's lawyer finally finished reviewing all the documents. After discussing them with Adams's team, he revised a few clauses with unclear rights and then told Andres that the contract was ready to be signed.

Andres quickly signed all the documents, then transferred the money to the designated account in Adams' presence. The lawyers then went to handle the paperwork. They ate lunch together, then returned to the lounge to chat. At three o'clock in the afternoon, the lawyers finally returned.

A stack of official documents was handed to Andres, and everyone else stood up to congratulate him.

"Congratulations, sir! From this day forward, you are the rightful owner of Sky Island! Earl of Sky Island."

After exchanging business cards and phone numbers, Andres and Adams left the real estate company.

After the real estate company staff saw Andres off, the boss, Adams, said to everyone, "Excellent, everyone! We've closed another lucrative deal. So, I declare it time to go home. Let's all go to the bar to celebrate, it's on me!"

"Thank you so much, boss!"

"Also, you'll have a three-day holiday starting tomorrow. I'll have the finance department transfer your share of the pay to you tomorrow! I've seen how hard you've been working these past few days, and the company won't treat you unfairly!"

The cheers in the office grew even louder, almost lifting the roof off.

After leaving the real estate company, Andres found a hotel to rest. He packed the land deeds, titles, and other documents into a large box and then put them into his spatial bag. This way, he could ensure that these things would be safe and secure.

That evening, he rented a car and drove to the place he had chosen before. He was eager to build Hogwarts Castle.

He soon arrived at his destination, parked the car, and walked towards it alone.

"Fluorescent Flash!" As Andres chanted the incantation, the wand in his hand glowed white. This time, the white light didn't go out; instead, it remained lit despite the magic Andres had infused into it—a testament to his efforts over the past few days.

He bypassed a clump of grass, jumped over a fallen tree, and came to a huge rock, beneath which lay a shimmering lake.

Standing on this giant rock, you can see the distant river valley landscape. This is perfect! This place perfectly matches the terrain of Hogwarts in my mind.

So Andres used the Hogwarts Castle card on this area.

Suddenly, white mist rose from the giant rock, enveloping the entire area. The mist was so thick that it was impossible to see what was happening inside.

Two minutes later, the white mist slowly dissipated. A tall and majestic castle appeared before Andres. Andres was stunned by the scene before him; it was unbelievable. A castle had appeared in such a short time—it was incredible! If netizens saw this, they would exclaim that it was unscientific. Yes, it was magic!

The castle's main structure consists of tall towers and numerous covered bridges, standing upright on the rock face. On the side of the castle, moss-covered stone steps lead down to a boathouse.

Andres glanced at the houseboat, the place where the young wizards would arrive at school by boat.

Andres arrived at the castle gates and pushed open the heavy oak doors. Magical flames on either side of the entrance lit up one after another, seemingly illuminating the entire front hall to welcome the new master!
