Huh? There's a magic school here.

Chapter 70 The vacation is over

"Thank you, boss. We will definitely work even harder."

The young company executives left happily, having earned their first fortune in just a few months at Magic Financial Investment Company, making them luckier than most of their peers.

Since the boss is so generous, they are willing to work hard for him. This truly shows that a generous reward will attract brave men; the treatment must match the responsibility.

The Christmas holidays are coming to an end soon, and most of the little wizards are tired of staying at home. Just like students in the Celestial Empire in their previous lives, the first three days after returning home are absolutely treated like princes and princesses, but after three days, the treatment is almost like that of enemies. In the eyes of their parents, everything they do is wrong, and they are simply disgusted with them.

Of course, there are exceptions, such as Joanna. However, the affection Joanna received did not come from her family, but from her boyfriend Bernhard's parents.

All parents are the same; when Bernhard's mother saw Joanna come to visit him for Christmas, her eyes lit up. She welcomed Joanna into the house and held Joanna's hands tightly.

While asking him all sorts of questions, she urged Bernhard to get some fruit and drinks. Joanna received far better treatment than Bernhard, who at one point even thought that Joanna was his biological daughter and that he should have been adopted.

After a heated interrogation, Bernhard's mother finally released Joanna, allowing her mentally challenged son to take Joanna out to play. Before leaving, she slipped Bernhard a considerable amount of money, worried he might not have enough.

But here's the problem: it's Christmas Day. Everyone's closed up for the holidays, what's there to do?! Bernhard's mother was so excited she forgot all about it.

So the two of them, feeling helpless, started to wander around aimlessly, taking the opportunity to express their longing for each other over the past two days.

In the following days, Bernhard's mother repeatedly pressured him to invite Joanna to her home. Her enthusiasm was simply irresistible.

In the past few days, besides Joanna visiting Bernhard's home, Bernhard was also invited to Joanna's home. Bernhard was much more nervous than Joanna, as this was his prospective son-in-law's first visit.

Joanna's father lived up to expectations and gave the newly arrived Bernhard a hard time. How could he let this pig who had stolen his cabbage go so easily!

Bernhard only managed to get through with Joanna's help. After all, this guy was his daughter's classmate, and they knew him well over the years, so they let him go.

Soon, Joanna's father began asking Bernhard about his situation at Hogwarts and his thoughts on their future. After a long conversation, Mr. Hampton was finally able to put his mind at ease about Bernhard.

In the days that followed, the two openly spent time together until the start of the new school term.

January 8, 2007, marked the start of the new school year at Hogwarts, after a two-week Christmas break. The good days for the little wizards who had been waving their wands at home were over.

That day, Stan and Ern began their mission of welcoming young wizards to school again, just like the first time they came. They went from house to house to pick up each young wizard.

Catherine's phone number, which she had specifically left for the young wizards, was not used. Not a single young wizard forgot to go back to school. In fact, they were looking forward to the start of the new semester because it was rumored that Hogwarts had started a new course this term.

On the Knight Bus, Fabio is an oddball who doesn't want school to start so early because he hasn't finished his winter break homework. While everyone else is discussing the Christmas holidays, he's frantically working on his assignments.

To this end, he signed countless unequal agreements with his roommates, borrowing their assignments as a reference, while complaining about the excessive amount of homework he was assigned.

As time passed, the Knight Bus drew closer to Hogwarts, and Fabio finally finished his homework after several hours of hard work.

At the school, Principal Andres and a group of professors waited in the auditorium to welcome the young wizards back to school.

The young wizards arrived at Hogwarts around 6 p.m., and they returned to their respective houses in twos and threes. At 6:50 p.m., the prefects led them to the Great Hall to prepare for dinner.

However, when all the young wizards were seated and looked up in the direction of the professors, they were surprised to find that there was another professor at the long table. So the young wizards started whispering among themselves again, while the prefects remained calm. They already knew that there would be new courses this semester, so there was nothing strange about having an extra professor.

7 p.m., Hogwarts Great Hall.

When Andres saw that it was time, he tapped his cup a few times with his spoon. The clinking sound stopped all the students from chatting and they looked at the principal; they knew he had something to say.

"Welcome back to Hogwarts, everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. Now, let me introduce our new professor, whom I believe many of you may already know. However, I must formally introduce Professor Pomona Sprout."

She will be the Headmistress of Hufflepuff and Professor of Herbalism. Join our family!

Professor Sprout stood up and gestured to everyone, and all the young wizards applauded, especially the Hufflepuff wizards. This was their Headmaster, the Herbalist Professor Sprout!

"Alright, thank you, Professor Sprout. Now that our Herbalism professor is here, we will be offering Herbalism courses for this half-semester. Our timetables will be distributed to the prefects tonight. I hope everyone will continue to love learning magic and achieve good results in their studies."

I must also remind all you young wizards that your current house points are: Slytherin leads with 450 points, followed by Ravenclaw with 440 points, then Hufflepuff with 420 points, and finally Gryffindor with 417 points! You still have half a semester to compete for the House Cup!

Also, as the college that won the College Cup for the first time, I will give some extra small gifts to its students as a reward. Okay, that's all for now. I'm sure everyone is starving, so let's eat!

After saying this, with a wave of his wand, all the tables were filled with a huge pile of food. The variety of dishes whetted the young wizards' appetites, and the only sounds in the hall were the sounds of eating and hushed discussions.

"Hey, Beretta. Did you already know that Herbalism would be offered this semester?"

“No, it wasn’t Erlinda! I only found out yesterday, because Professor Sprout only showed up at the dinner table around this time last night. I only found out a day earlier than you.”

"Ugh! Ugh! Ugh! My grades weren't good to begin with, and now I have to take another course. God, someone help me!" Erlinda, a big eater with a gluttonous nature, complained as she ate.
