Huh? There's a magic school here.

Chapter 34 August 3 (2)

Diane looked at the two people standing in front of her and smiled as she asked them to sit down.

"Hello, I'm Diane Bryan."

“I am Joanna Hampton, and he is Bernhard Wiggins. He is my boyfriend, and we are both lucky enough to have received our Hogwarts acceptance letters.”

"I can tell you've decided which college you'd like to attend."

"I haven't thought about it yet. Diane, which college do you want to go to?"

"I think I'm more suited to Ravenclaw, but of course, it depends on where the Sorting Hat sorts me. By the way, you haven't opened the box yet, why don't you take a look at your wands first?"

“You’re right, let’s look at the wand first. This is my first wand, I wonder what it will be like.”

Joanna closed her eyes as she spoke, and a few seconds later the box opened. Inside lay a thirteen-inch golden wand with a spiral pattern on its shaft.

A wand made of pear wood and dragon heartstrings; pear wood itself can be used to create wands with outstanding magical power.

It typically chooses people who are kind-hearted, generous, and wise. In addition, pear wood wands are the most flexible of all wands; even after years of overuse, they still look brand new.

Using a dragon heartstring as the core makes it easier to create powerful wands, and the spells cast will be more elaborate. Using this type of wand allows for faster learning of magic compared to other types.

Combining these two points, it's easy to see that Joanna is likely a kind person with powerful magic. When she touches a wand, it's a power-release tactic; those around her can feel the pressure emanating from that magic.

As Joanna quietly savored the sensations brought on by this magic, her boyfriend was somewhat bewildered, having never seen Joanna display such a powerful aura before. Seeing her boyfriend staring at her blankly, Joanna nudged him.

"Hey, Bernhard, take a look at your wand!"

"Oh? Oh, okay."

Bernhard picked up his box, and a few seconds later, a white light emanated from it as the box slowly opened by itself. Inside was a twelve-inch deep red wand with vine patterns on its shaft.

A wand crafted from phoenix tail feathers and sapwood. Sapwood is ideal for wand making because of its excellent defensive magic. Sapwood wands are best suited for those with clear minds and pure hearts, and they are also extremely effective in duels, far surpassing wands made from other woods.

Phoenix feather wands are extremely rare because they have the widest range of magic coverage, are highly proactive, and are very selective in choosing their owners.

Joanna and the others huddled together to look at the description on the card, and looking at the somewhat silly Bernhard, they really couldn't understand what was so clear-headed about him.

After reading the introduction, Bernhard solemnly picked up his wand. A phoenix-like cry filled the carriage, drawing frequent glances from the other passengers.

Because the three were of similar age, they quickly hit it off. Along the way, they also discovered that the teapot could pour out different drinks depending on what the person was thinking: Joanna got milk, Bernhard got cola, and Diane got juice.

This caused the three to exclaim in surprise, arousing the interest of everyone in the carriage, and the others in the carriage also began to try it out. This made the atmosphere in the carriage joyful and exciting.

At 3:13 PM, Drew Barnetta and his family were also waiting on the roadside outside their door. Neighbors kept greeting them, asking where they were going with their luggage. The Drew family could only vaguely say they were taking their son to study in another city.

Hidden in a grove of trees some distance away, Drew's friend watched all this with a strange expression, holding a DV camera. He planned to record the whole thing and expose the trick, so he could use the evidence to mock Drew later.

Suddenly, a three-story bus appeared in the distance in the DV camera's view, as if it had appeared out of thin air. Then the bus bypassed other vehicles and pedestrians and stopped in front of the Drew family, but strangely, it seemed that no one except the Drew family could see the bus, including Drew's friend.

Drew's friend kept glancing at his watch. Fifteen minutes had passed; where was the person Drew mentioned? He was definitely a liar, wasn't he? But when he looked up again, Drew was gone. Only Drew's parents were left waving at the air. What the hell! What happened? Where did Drew go?

He rushed out like a madman and stopped Drew's parents just as they were about to enter the house.

"Hello, uncles and aunts, I'm Drew's friend. Where did Drew go?"

"Drew? Drew went to study in another city?"

"But he was right here! He disappeared the moment I turned around!"

“Oh, poor child, you must be mistaken. Go home now, you probably need some rest.” With that, Drew’s parents ignored him and went back to their home.

Drew's friend was utterly shocked. Could it be that what Drew said was true? Had he just been picked up by the Hogwarts people? Then he remembered the DV camera still in the bushes and ran back to check it.

His DV camera faithfully recorded everything. In the DV camera footage, the three-decker bus that suddenly appeared came into view from afar. The bus stopped near Drew, a young man got off to help him with his luggage, and then Drew stood at the door and waved goodbye to his parents.

He could still hear his own complaining voice coming from the DV player. Then, the car door closed, the car slowly started moving, and a few seconds later, it suddenly disappeared in a flash. He didn't know how he got home, but what had just happened was truly unbelievable—Drew had actually been accepted to Hogwarts. At this point, he started to feel depressed, wondering why he hadn't received an acceptance letter. When Drew showed it to him, he had even laughed at him.

Thinking about this, no! This can't be a situation where I'm the only one suffering; everyone suffering is the best option. I can't go to Hogwarts, and neither can any of you. Sharing the suffering is the right thing to do!

So he ran to the computer and started uploading the video from the DV camera. He quickly opened the forum, entered the ID, and went to the previous post.

"Damn it, I have some shocking inside information to share." - A netizen's comment

"What's wrong? Tell me already, why are you playing suspense?" - A netizen's comment

"I get it, so you two can't produce any evidence and are planning to do a handstand and poop as an apology?" - Comment from a netizen

"No, no, no, this isn't some shocking secret. He must have found out his brother came out as gay and caught him red-handed as evidence!" - A netizen commented.

"Oh? Share it quickly, I love this kind of thing!" - A netizen commented.

"Holy crap, something weird has gotten mixed up with us." - A netizen's comment
