Huh? There's a magic school here.
Chapter 28 Preparations Before the Start of School (4)
Andres returned to his desk with satisfaction and picked up the chilled pumpkin juice. Hmm, Hogwarts drinks are pretty good. As he leisurely sipped his drink, he suddenly remembered that he hadn't had time to check the effects of using the card earlier. So he accessed the system and searched for the Headmaster's Office card again.
"Headmaster's Office Card: This is where the headmasters of Hogwarts have lived and worked. We certainly can't be stingy. No amount of luxury is too much! The room's interior space increases by 5% for each level up. Several additional magic books are given as a bonus for each level up (note that a copy of the magic books will be automatically made in the library). The host's magic power growth rate increases by 5% while in the room for each level up."
That's great! I didn't expect upgrading the principal's office to increase magic power growth. If I had known, I should have redeemed it from the beginning; perhaps I would be much stronger now. I wonder when I'll reach the professors' level.
Andres continued browsing the system, and suddenly noticed the Academy Common Room card.
"College Common Room Card: Good rest is a necessary condition for progress. Students need to get enough rest in addition to studying, so this is the best choice to ensure students' daily living conditions. This room can accommodate 50 students when it is level 1, and the number of students can double for each level up (please note that male and female dormitories are separate, and male students are prohibited from entering female dormitories). Students' fatigue level is restored by 5% for each level up in this room."
Redeem four college common lounge cards.
"Successfully redeemed 4 Academy Public Lounge Cards, deducting 400 system points."
Oh, and I should also include a picture of Professor Flitwick's Charms classroom.
"Charm Classroom Card: Charms are the most basic of magic! What, you haven't learned them?! You must be a legendary monster! This room can accommodate fifty students at the same time. The number of students increases by five percent for each level up, and the students' comprehension of charms increases by five percent for each level up in this room."
"System, the students will need wands when they arrive. But how do I match the right wand to each student based on the wand selection criteria?"
"The host can choose to learn how to make wands themselves, or they can choose to exchange for wand cards in the system. The system will give each wand card a box to hold the wand, and the card will be placed in the box. When the host gives the box to a student, the card will automatically generate a wand that matches the student."
"Understood, that's very considerate. This solves the problem of not having a wand shop in the early stages. Redeem 70 wand cards." The reason I bought two extra cards was because I was afraid the kids would wave their wands around randomly and cause them to break.
"Successfully redeemed 70 Magic Wand Cards, deducting 700 system points."
With the wand in hand, let's see what else we need. Right, we also need textbooks, so Andres started searching through the system again. Compared to the items, books were significantly more expensive, and the more advanced the magical theory within, the higher the exchange price. He even saw books in the book category that didn't belong to the Harry Potter world; these books must be from other worlds. Andres really wanted to exchange for them, but the prices were outrageously high, which was a real deterrent. It seems the books from the Headmaster's office are truly a perk; otherwise, with his current wealth, he simply couldn't afford them.
Standard Spells: Beginner's Guide by Milada Goshak
"The Theory of Magic" by Adéber Wölfflin
"Transformation Guide for Beginners" by Emery Sweech
Andres selected these three books. These were Hogwarts' basic textbooks from the last few decades, so the price wasn't expensive. Each book only cost 100 points to redeem. The system even thoughtfully asked Andres if he needed 100 copies of each book made. Of course he did, otherwise he would have to find a way to print them himself. The system was truly considerate.
After redeeming the books, I only have 1,000 system points left. Money comes quickly, but points don't go by that fast either!
Andres found the Knight Public Bus in the system's magical items and exchanged it for a Knight Public Bus card.
"Successfully redeemed 1 Knight Public Bus Card, deducting 500 system points."
"Knight's Public Bus Card: Just extend the hand you normally hold your wand and get on board. We can take you anywhere you want to go! (Note that this card comes with a driver and a ticket seller.) This item can accommodate ninety passengers. The number of passengers increases by ten percent for each level up. The range of destinations that can be reached also increases by ten percent for each level up."
Looking at the remaining 500 system points, Andres frowned, suddenly remembering something. *Crape* (a type of plant), he almost forgot he needed the Sorting Hat for the start of the school year. Without it, he couldn't let the young wizards choose their houses based on their own preferences; otherwise, one house would easily be overcrowded while another would be deserted.
After finding the Sorting Hat in the system, Andres's lips twitched. Exactly 500 points—this was truly tailor-made! Redeem a Sorting Hat card!
"Successfully redeemed 1 Sorting Hat Card, deducting 500 system points."
"Sorting Hat Card: You might not think I'm pretty, but don't judge a book by its cover! You won't find a smarter hat than me! This item increases Sorting speed by 5% for each level up. (Note: You don't want to spend hours sorting your house every year, do you? The food will be cold by then.)"
Alright, my system points are gone. This time I experienced the joy and pain of being a shopaholic. The joy is being able to happily buy anything I like. The pain is running out of points again. These things really go by quickly! I wonder if the system could let me pay in installments or take out a loan like Jack Ma does. I'll definitely pay back my points later! I definitely will!
Andres silently grumbled for a while longer before finally going back to bed to rest.
The next morning, Andres arrived at the Great Hall for breakfast. The weather was lovely, with sunlight streaming in through the tall glass windows. As Andres sipped his milk and ate his bread, Professor McGonagall and Professor Flitwick entered one after the other.
Good morning, professors.
Good morning, Principal Andres.
"By the way, what are your plans for today, professors? I'm thinking of materializing the items I exchanged last night."
“I’m sorry, Headmaster Andres, I still need to write letters to the young wizards today.”
“Principal Andres, I need to go out to buy some things today. I don’t plan to let Dobby go; I’m afraid he won’t understand what I want!”
"Alright then. You two can go about your business. I'd like to ask if the Transfiguration and Charms classrooms need to be moved?"
"No need, the principal's original position is already very good."
"I'm not changing my Spells classroom; it'll stay on the fourth floor!"
