Huh? There's a magic school here.

Chapter 26 Preparations Before the Start of School (2)

The postman set off as if fleeing for his life with the letter, but contrary to Catherine's expectations, he didn't go to Hogwarts School. Instead, he came to a house in Manchester, where Andreas was talking to the residents.

Upon seeing the owl, Andres knew it was Catherine who wanted to see him. After apologizing to the family of five, he went to deal with the mail. He opened the letter, read it quickly, and wholeheartedly agreed with Catherine's viewpoint. So he called Dobby, who brought him paper and pen, and began to write a reply.

"I've received the letter. Catherine, you're smarter than I thought. I didn't even consider using the supermarket as a cover. Do as you said. I agree to recruit a site manager and a financial director. I suggest their annual salary be around 80,000. As long as their annual salary doesn't exceed that, you can decide for yourself. Go ahead and do it with confidence. Just let me know when you need money."

Andres called the postman, tied the letter to its leg, and set it flying.

While Andres was doing all this, a family of five nearby watched in stunned silence. After Andres finished, they huddled together and began to discuss it. This was the last family. Originally, Professor McGonagall had chosen the youngest child, but after Andres arrived, he discovered that his older siblings could also become wizards. However, the eldest sister was already fifteen, so he gave them the choice themselves.

In the end, their parents decided to send all three children to Hogwarts, so that it would be fair to all three and that they would not be blamed for having different choices in the future.

This was his last home visit. After saying goodbye, he Apparated back to the Headmaster's office at Hogwarts. He had made thirty-three home visits and gained thirty-five students. Soon after, Professor McGonagall also knocked on the Headmaster's office door and entered with the same list in hand.

“Principal Andres, I have completed the visits to all thirty-three students, and they will all be in class on September 1st. Now, how do I solve the transportation problem? You see, they used to come by train from station 9¾.”

“I understand, but with so few of us, there’s absolutely no need to use the train right now, and we don’t have that many points to exchange for the Hogwarts train, do we? Speaking of the system, I think this recruitment task should be almost complete, right?”

The system opens the task interface.

"Congratulations, host, you have completed the main quest (II): Recruiting students 68/100, a perfect completion rate. The system rewards you have received are as follows: 1,000 system points, 1 Transformation Classroom Card, 1 Professor Card, 1 Principal's Office Card, and 4 Character Level Up Cards."

"Alright, we've recruited students and can finally start classes. Main quest (3): Within one month of the start of the semester, at least ten students must learn to cast spells. The reward will be based on the number of students who learn to cast spells: ten is considered passing, twenty is considered good, thirty is considered excellent, and forty or more is considered perfect."

Understood. This task mainly takes into account the different aptitudes and magical abilities of the young wizards. It seems promising. However, the system notified him that because the number of students exceeded sixty, and the school only had two teachers, including himself, educational resources were insufficient. The overall learning efficiency of the school would decrease by five percentage points, and he was instructed to summon a professor as soon as possible to alleviate the teaching pressure.

Therefore, this reward is precisely based on his current situation, and it's a timely help.

“Use the professor card.”

Andres used the Professor Card again with great anticipation, and soon a figure emerged from the white light. Before Andres could speak, Professor McGonagall greeted him first.

“Flitwick, it’s so good to see you again. Oh, I’m sorry, Principal Andres, I’m just too excited.”

“That’s alright, I understand. Well then, Felius Flitwick welcomes you.”

"Thank you, Principal Andres. And Professor McGonagall, I'm also very happy to see you again, and even happier that it seems we'll be colleagues again!"

“You’ve come at the perfect time, Flitwick. I was just discussing with Headmaster Andres what kind of admission process we should use for this year’s young wizards. You know, there are only sixty-eight students this year, and we don’t have enough points to exchange for the Hogwarts Express.”

“I don’t think this is a problem. We can use the Knights’ public bus this year, since it has three floors and can accommodate so many students. It just looks like we’ll have to offer a pick-up service for young wizards this year.”

“Ah, that’s a good idea. After the whole school year, we’ll have enough points to redeem the Hogwarts Express. By the way, Professor McGonagall, could you take Professor Flitwick to rest for me? Maybe you could get him something to eat.”

“Of course, Principal Andres. I'd also like to have a good chat with Flitwick, after all, it's been a long time since we last saw each other. This way, Flitwick!”

"Okay, McGonagall. Then, Principal Andres, see you at dinner!"

"See you at dinner. I won't see you out."

After Professor McGonagall and Professor Flitwick left, Andres checked the system. The warning about insufficient teaching resources had disappeared, and the system interface now showed normal teaching pressure. Andres was relieved; the student penalty might have affected the upcoming main quest.

Andres suddenly remembered that he still had mission level-up cards that he hadn't used before. With the four cards he got this time, he had a total of six, enough for him to level up twice in a row.

So he used the six character level-up cards on himself, bringing himself to level three.

Aside from gaining magical talent upon its first use, this two-level advancement increased his magical power several times over. Normally, given his age, he should be an adult wizard, at least a level four or five wizard, even with mediocre abilities. However, Andres had only recently become a wizard, and his current level was entirely due to cheating; otherwise, he would have needed to gradually accumulate magical power.

His current level three is equivalent to that of an average fifth-year Hogwarts student, or perhaps the same as an average adult wizard in the Harry Potter world. This is because the fifth-year OWL exam is the standard wizarding level exam.

The next level up is the Elite Wizard level, and only after that can one become an Auror. It's important to know that becoming an Auror is basically the most elite of all wizards, which is why the Auror Office Director wields significant power in the magical world. Having a gun is crucial, whether in the Muggle world or the wizarding world.

Andres ate dinner in the Great Hall with Professor McGonagall and Professor Flitwick. That afternoon, he had told Dobby to have them prepare extra dishes and a bottle of fine red wine to welcome Professor Flitwick that evening.
