Huh? There's a magic school here.

Chapter 25 Preparations Before the Start of School (1)

"Wow, Principal Andres really is in the mirror! Principal, can you hear me?" Beretta exclaimed excitedly!

"I'm sorry, Principal, Beretta is too naughty."

"It's alright, you're just a kid! Everyone goes through that phase! By the way, Catherine, use this two-way magic mirror only when you need to contact me in an emergency. Try not to use it otherwise to reduce the risk of being exposed. You can use the owl instead. From now on, that owl is your new employee perk."

"Wow, we're going to have an owl, sister! That's wonderful!"

"Well, Beretta, I must remind you of something."

"Hmm? What's wrong, Headmaster? Do you not want to give us the owl anymore?" Beretta asked worriedly when she heard Andres calling her.

"No, what I meant was, if you keep chatting with me like this, your cream pudding will be eaten by owls!" Andres said with a hint of schadenfreude.

"What?! My cream pudding!!" Beretta turned around and screamed, startling the owl that was stealing the treat.

"What's wrong, little master? You scared the owl to death! But it seems that changing owners isn't such a bad thing, at least there are such delicious desserts!" Thinking about this, the owl started eating the cream pudding again.

"Okay, it's just Beretta cream pudding. I'll make you another one later. It flew so far and is starving!"

“Okay, eat slowly!” Beretta said, listening to her sister’s words of comfort as she watched the owl eat.

"Perhaps you can name it Beretta. In that case, Catherine, I won't disturb your meal any longer. Enjoy your meal."

After saying that, Andres severed the connection with the two-way magic mirror, and Catherine had no choice but to put down the mirror and watch Beretta call out various names to the owl.

Perhaps the names Beretta gave her weren't very popular with the owls, because no matter how Beretta called her, the owls ignored her.

Seeing the owl's appearance, Barrett had no choice but to ask her sister for help.

Catherine thought for a moment and said to the owl, "Since we need you to deliver letters back and forth to contact the principal, how about we call you Postman? In the Muggle world, postmen also deliver letters for people."

The owl tilted its head, thought for a moment, then nodded and hooted.

"Great! From now on, my owl will be called Postman!" Children's happiness is always simple, but this happiness comes and goes quickly. He then put on a stern face and said to the owl, "Postman, you're not allowed to steal my sweets anymore, you hear me! If you dare to steal them again, I won't give you any more sweets!"

The owl started playing dumb, looking at Beretta with a blank expression as if to ask, "What are you talking about? I don't understand." Beretta's little face puffed up with annoyance, but she quickly forgot about it.

The two sisters finished dinner amidst laughter and chatter. Beretta took the owl out to play, while Catherine opened the parchment and began to read. She already knew that this year's school wouldn't have more than a hundred students, and she hadn't thought she would need to prepare that much, but reading the contents of the parchment was truly giving her a headache.

"Food: 1 ton of milk per week, 1.5 tons of various fruit combinations per week, 2 tons of wheat per week, 2 tons of various meats (beef, lamb, pork, chicken, duck, fish, etc.) per week, 1 ton of various seasonings per type per month (it is recommended to stock up on an extra ton initially for unforeseen circumstances), 1 ton of various snacks per week, and 1 ton of beverages such as tea and coffee per week."

"Daily necessities: two toothbrushes per person per academic year, two towels per person (it is recommended to keep a certain number in reserve and provide as needed), one bath towel per person every two months, one ton of toilet paper (replenished weekly), one set of each of hand sanitizer, shower gel, shampoo, bar soap, and other toiletries per month, one ton of various cleaning supplies per month, several wastebaskets for various cleaning tools, and two sets of school uniforms per person for each of the four seasons, including brand names."

"School supplies: several quill pens, several spellcasting tools, several spellcasting animals, several parchments, several notebooks."

The more she looked, the more she realized how much she had written on; no wonder it filled an entire roll of parchment. This was practically emptying the entire supermarket! Even emptying so much wouldn't be enough. Wait, a supermarket? Catherine mused. She then circled the word "supermarket" in a notebook, preparing to contact venues and hire staff daily, otherwise she wouldn't be able to manage it all herself.

Looking at the time, it was already quite late. Catherine called Beretta back, helped her wash up, and coaxed her to bed. As for the postman, he clearly had no intention of going inside to sleep. He stood on the tree outside, watching until all the lights in the room were turned off, before flapping his wings and flying towards the moon.

The next day, after preparing breakfast for Beretta and the postman, Catherine began contacting Smith.

“Hello, Mr. Smith, this is Catherine Morey, the CEO of Mr. Andres’ new company. He gave me this number and said that the new company’s office location has been decided!”

“Hello, Catherine! Yes, Count Andres called to tell me yesterday. Are you free now? We can go take a look together.”

“I’m sorry, I’m not in Historicshire. I’m in London right now. I know Mr. Andres wants to set up the company in Historicshire or Inverness, but I can’t go there right now. Could you please send me the information via email?”

"Of course, no problem. Just send me your email address."

"By the way, do you know anything about the local retail industry? Are there any large supermarkets or convenience stores that are looking to sell?"

"Yes, we happen to have a large supermarket here that's up for sale. I'll send you the details later."

"OK, thanks."

After hanging up the phone and sending her email address to Smith, Catherine began writing to Andres to tell him her thoughts.

"Dear Boss, I finished reviewing Dobby's list last night, and it's far too much and too varied. If we just set up a trading company to purchase these items and then try to deliver them to Hogwarts in the short term, it'll be fine. But if it takes too long, it'll arouse suspicion, because it's suspicious that we're buying so many daily necessities without selling anything. So I think we should acquire a large supermarket through the company. With that supermarket as a cover, I believe no one will suspect us. Plus, we won't need to hire anyone else; we'll only need a site manager with management experience and a trustworthy financial director. I've already contacted Smith, and he told me there's a large supermarket for sale in Inverness, so I'm planning to go take a look and move my place there while I'm at it. Now, I'm just waiting for your decision."

"Beretta, stop bullying the mailman. I need him to run a errand for me at school."

Upon hearing this, the postman, who had been feeling utterly hopeless, immediately perked up. He struggled to get out of Beretta's arms and jumped in front of Catherine, his little eyes filled with gratitude.
