Huh? There's a magic school here.

Chapter 18 The Turmoil on the Internet

Joanna stepped forward, took the letter from the owl's leg, and handed it to Bernhard. The owl, feeling uncomfortable with so many people staring at it, spread its wings and flew away without waiting for a reply.

Bernhard was staring blankly at the letter in his hand, while the girls beside him urged him to open the envelope and see what was inside. This was the first time they had ever encountered such a novel way of delivering letters in real life.

Bernhard was even more bewildered when he saw the contents of his Hogwarts acceptance letter, because he never expected anyone to make fun of him in public! Joanna then leaned over to see what was written, her curiosity overwhelming her despite her impoliteness. After reading the letter, Joanna covered her mouth and laughed.

"So, wizard, would you still like to invite me over for a chat?"

"Oh? Okay, of course! Please hold onto this letter for me, I'll go get the drinks right away!"

After Bernhard finished speaking, he handed the letter to Joanna and ran back to the living room to get a drink.

The girls, intrigued by Joanna's mention of the wizard, gathered around him as soon as Bernhard left.

"Joanna, what does the letter say? Can we see it? Why do you call Bernhard 'Mr. Wizard'?"

The girls chattered on and on with a barrage of questions, hoping Joanna could satisfy their curiosity in the same way.

"Oh, you should see for yourselves!"

After reading the letter, the girls started chattering again.

"He's really funny. Is he trying to get Joanna's attention by imitating Harry Potter?"

"It seems so, or maybe not. Didn't you see he looked terrified just now?"

"Perhaps it's just a joke played by someone else? Look, it says the principal is the Earl of Sky Island. Who is that earl?"

"They must be a high-ranking noble, but I've never heard of them before! And they live in a place like Sky Island. We can look them up online!"

Amidst the envious and jealous gazes of the boys, Bernhard, holding a drink, took Joanna's hand and went to chat in a corner. The letter, however, was brought to the boys' group by a guy who had been rejected after confessing his feelings, and the whole thing was recorded by the burly boy's camera. Although the letter was eventually returned to Bernhard, he didn't care at all; his mind was completely occupied with Joanna. Joanna's hands were so soft! Joanna's smile was so beautiful! Well, it's normal for underage kids to go through puberty.

After the party ended, one of the girls went home and quickly logged onto a local forum.

"Look, guys, what am I holding in my hand!" A picture of a Hogwarts acceptance letter appeared in the comments section of the post.

"Oh, that's so cool! You've been accepted to Hogwarts??" - Just kidding comment

"Yes, the runaway princess of England, your name is Bernhard Wiggins? That's clearly a man's name. Are you a zero?" - Comment from someone who failed math.

"What?! This princess is, of course, a woman. This letter isn't mine; I took a picture of it at a party. It belongs to my classmate. What's even more interesting is that I watched an owl deliver it!" - A message from the runaway princess of England

"Really?" - A netizen's comment

"It's obviously fake. With just one picture, she can say whatever she wants! She could even say it was delivered by Dumbledore himself, but there's no way to verify it!" - A netizen's comment

"Yes, yes, that's right! And look, a lot of things in this letter are wrong! Who is Andres Morina? This is just a DIY prop he made for fun." - A netizen's comment

"Yeah, maybe Bernhard is a huge Harry Potter fan and sent himself a letter like this!" - A netizen commented.

"No, she's telling the truth. She's a classmate of mine. I was at the party! An owl definitely landed on Bernhard's shoulder, and the letter definitely came from the owl's leg!" - A netizen's comment

"You wouldn't happen to be the same fugitive princess of England using an alternate account to put on a show, would you?" - A netizen commented.

"Exactly, even if what you're saying is true, you have no evidence to prove it to us!" - A netizen commented.

"I have evidence. Give me some time; I'm uploading what's on my camera to the internet!" - A netizen's comment

"Just waiting to see the show! (I've already got my snacks and beer ready to watch you two argue!)" - A netizen's comment

Just as these silly netizens were having a good time, a video was finally uploaded!

The video started with the boys teasing and urging Bernhard to get together. Of course, the boy who liked Laura also became known through this video, and the two later got together (20,000 words omitted here, great! The author has successfully added ten more chapters!). The following video started to get interesting. Bernhard was trying to flirt with Joanna and didn't notice a large bird flying towards him. However, viewers clearly saw an owl appearing in the video from afar, eventually landing on Bernhard's shoulder. The rest is clear, even including a close-up shot of the letter reaching the boys, which indeed stated that Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry had accepted Bernhard.

Although there are videos to prove that this did happen, trolls are a breed that exists in every country.

"This owl is clearly trained!" - A netizen commented.

"Of course they're trained. Even in the real Harry Potter world, they'd be trained before sending them to deliver messages, right?" - A netizen commented.

"This guy named Bernhard must have trained owls for a long time, like giving them food whenever an owl lands accurately on his shoulder! Such a clumsy method!" - A netizen's comment

"Putting everything else aside, the contents of this letter alone are enough to prove it! Who is this principal? I've never even heard of him!" - A netizen's comment.

"No, no, no, you just don't understand. Maybe this guy wasn't lying, he was just fooled!" - A netizen's comment

"Scammed? Tell us more, upstairs!" - A netizen's comment

"It's simple. Look at the title on this letter. Although it says Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the title under Headmaster is Founder of the New Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Earl of Sky Island! Theoretically, he established a new Hogwarts on Sky Island, so of course he can use the Hogwarts name to recruit people! Anyway, no one from the old school is arguing with him about brand ownership, right? As for being deceived, when have you ever heard of the title Earl of Sky Island? What unlucky guy would be assigned to such a barren place! Besides, this lie is easy to spot. We just need to check the royal family's public records to see if this person even exists! So this conman isn't clever at all!" - A netizen's comment

"The person upstairs truly lives up to his reputation as the 'King of Knowledge'! His analysis is perfectly reasonable!" - A netizen's comment
