Huh? There's a magic school here.

Chapter 12 Professor Minerva McGonagall

The next day, Andres returned the car and left the hotel. He then found a secluded spot and Apparated back to his home in London.

Back home, the first thing he did was open the system. He hadn't processed some system information in the rush last night, and he was too tired after returning to the hotel, so he'd left it until now.

He opened the system and found an exclamation mark flashing directly below his avatar in the upper left corner. After opening the exclamation mark, a system prompt popped up.

"Congratulations, host. You have completed the first step of the main quest: Establishing Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry (Completed). Quest Rewards: You have received 1,000 system points, one self-study room card, and two character level-up cards."

After confirmation, the system notification started flashing again.

"Now that we have an academy, how can we not have students? The system has issued the second main quest: Recruit at least thirty students (incomplete). Quest reward: Rewards will be given based on the number of students recruited."

How does the system determine the reward based on the number of people recruited?

"Host, if you can recruit thirty students, the system will rate it as passing. If you can recruit forty students, the system will rate it as good. If you can recruit fifty students, the system will rate it as excellent. As for perfection, you need to recruit sixty students. The system does not recommend that you recruit more than sixty students, because if you recruit more than sixty students, your teaching pressure will begin to increase significantly, and your teaching level and learning efficiency will decline. One hundred students is the limit that a level one castle can currently handle. If you want to increase the number of students recruited, you need to find a way to upgrade the castle level and the corresponding teaching conditions."

It seems necessary to upgrade the castle as soon as possible, because Andres needs to train enough manpower to cope with the great war twenty years from now, and what can one hundred people do? However, due to the points issue, he has to leave it at that for now. He must develop the school as soon as possible, recruit more students, and obtain more points.

A moment later, Andres packed his clothes and some other belongings, then Apparated back to the Headmaster's office at Hogwarts. Since he had never been a teacher, he needed advice from a professional with educational experience. So he activated the system and silently recited the instructions.

“Use the professor card.”

A flash of white light appeared, and a woman wearing square glasses, with curly black hair tied up in a high bun, and dressed in a dark green robe appeared before Andres.

"Welcome, Professor McGonagall."

"Thank you, it's my honor, Principal Andres."

"What would you like to drink? We only have black tea, coffee, and pumpkin juice available right now!"

"Please give me a cup of black tea, thank you!"

"Dobby, two cups of black tea!"

"Okay, Principal, please wait a moment."

"Professor McGonagall, are you aware of the current situation? Or did the system inform you of the situation we are facing before you arrived?"

"Headmaster, yes. I was summoned here. When the system summoned me, it already explained my mission: to help the headmaster establish Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Although I don't understand what the system is yet, it doesn't stop me from completing its mission. Besides, establishing a magical world in a completely new world is quite challenging, isn't it?"

"That's perfect. May I ask how I should understand your existence?"

"Yes, I think I understand what the headmaster means. First of all, as for myself, my world is real, and there is another me in that world, still existing along the trajectory of the original world. The me here can be seen as another me in another dimension or an avatar or something like that. There has always been a debate about multidimensional worlds in the magical world, otherwise we would not be able to explain where some ancient gods or powerful wizards went. Some people believe that they crossed dimensions, crossed space and time to go to new worlds. Now that I have been summoned here by you, I even suspect that the system was created by some god or powerful wizard."

Hearing Professor McGonagall's words, Andres fell into thought. Because he had experienced rebirth, no novel idea would surprise him too much.

"Headmaster, Professor McGonagall, the tea is ready. Please enjoy!"

Dobby's voice interrupted Andres's thoughts. He raised his cup in a gesture of acknowledgment and took a sip of his black tea before continuing his conversation with Professor McGonagall.

"Professor McGonagall, in your experience, what should we do next?"

"Yes, next we should determine the enrollment numbers as soon as possible. We still have a lot of supplies to prepare, and our priority is ensuring the young wizards' basic needs are met, followed by instruction. For example, we need to purchase food and prepare daily necessities for the students. Although the system provided a batch when the castle was built, these are consumables and will run out quickly. Therefore, we need to provide a complete logistical system to guarantee their well-being."

“I understand. I will set up a company that specializes in providing services to Hogwarts Castle. We can write down the items we need, purchase them in bulk, and have them delivered.”

"Secondly, I want to remind you that I need the Transfiguration classroom to better teach the students. Although classes can be held without the classroom, the effect will be much worse. A spell that can normally be learned in a day will take three days to learn without the classroom's support. In other words, you will need to purchase Transfiguration classroom cards. Also, the first batch of young wizards cannot start classes immediately. They need to learn meditation because the magical power in this plane has only recently been revived, and their magic power is not yet at the level to cast spells, even if the spell is of a low level. This situation will naturally resolve itself over time. I also suggest that next time you can summon my old friend Felius Flitwick as well, because spells are the foundation."

"Okay, Professor! I understand. Is there anything else I need to prepare?"

"Oh, right. Also, the professors we summon need to be well taken care of so they can teach with peace of mind. I know we're in the early stages of construction, so I can stay in the Muggle world for now, but that's not a long-term solution. You know, if they don't receive proper treatment over a long period, the summoned wizards will get increasingly upset. So later on, all our faculty and staff will need their own offices and lounges, which are usually a suite of rooms."

I understand. Although Professor McGonagall didn't say it explicitly, she meant that their loyalty would be reduced. I wonder if they would defect or become dark wizards after their loyalty is reduced?

"By the way, may I ask how I can find students with magical potential?"

"Perhaps you should look around in the principal's office; it might be of great help! Well, if the principal has nothing else to say, I'll take my leave now!"

"Thank you, Professor McGonagall! You can go back and rest now."
