Farming in the Magical World

Chapter 52 Tim Wields a Gun

In the end, Lanny did not answer his question.

He simply waved his hand with a strange expression, brushing it off.

Is this thing so mysterious that we can't even discuss it further? Is it because it involves mysterious magical rules? Or something else?

Even now, he is still completely confused, but he dares not ask any more questions.

Shake your head, shake off these messy thoughts.

Seeing that the team members had adjusted their breathing, he spoke loudly, "From today onwards, we will conduct weapons practice in the morning, and future drill training will be moved to after lunch."

After saying that, he waved to the four men beside him, including Iron Hammer and Jimmy, and they quickly placed bundles of brand-new weapons in front of the group.

Upon seeing the weapons on the ground, the previously quiet group immediately stirred, and excited chatter could be faintly heard.

"Wow, this weapon looks amazing! The front is polished to a shine..."

"After practicing in formation for so long, I finally got a weapon. I've been so eager to get one."

"Huh, why are there only spears and no bows or shields? I miss my bow; it's been so long since I've touched one!"

Chirping and murmuring...

After waiting a while and letting the team members vent their excitement, Tim shouted again, "Quiet, quiet!"

"Before the training, I need to explain a few things,"

"First, this weapon is called the Red Tassel Spear. As for the bow and arrow and shield you requested, that will take some time."

"Secondly, each of you has your own weapon. Remember it well. Losing it or damaging it outside of training will be severely punished."

"Third, never, ever point a gun at your teammates or the people of Caster..."

Tim shouted out the rules one by one, and the team members habitually gripped the board to memorize them, not daring to relax for a moment.

Gavin, the chatterbox, is the most qualified to speak on this matter. Tim often announces rules, and these rules are usually checked later to see if the students can recite them.

Gavin, that unlucky guy, gets picked almost every time and has been punished many times.

Now he has almost developed a conditioned reflex; whenever Tim utters the word "rules," he instinctively closes his lips and tenses up.

"On my command, starting with the first team, come up one by one to receive your weapons."

Throughout the weapon distribution process, Tim kept repeating those few rules, hoping that everyone could remember them as soon as possible.

He had to be cautious, after all, this was the real thing, and it was extremely powerful, enough to pierce through a knight's armor; if it were to pierce a person, it would leave a transparent hole.

After completing the weapons distribution ceremony, he formed a large circle around the three teams, and stood in the center holding a red-tasseled spear.

"Next, I will demonstrate a set of marksmanship techniques. Every team member must master these techniques, so please watch carefully."

After saying that, he began to demonstrate the training movements he had summarized several times.

After each demonstration, he would break down each movement to ensure that everyone could see it clearly.

Of course, he didn't expect to teach everyone in one morning, but at least they should have some basic impressions, and then he could practice repeatedly in the following days.

Hearing that Knight Tim was practicing, several maids from the castle rushed to the square to watch. They chattered and discussed among themselves, occasionally bursting into cheers. Susan, in particular, shouted the loudest, her eyes almost brimming with tears.

It's no wonder they were amazed. With Tim's knightly physique and movement habits, even simple movements were performed with perfect rhythm and were highly entertaining, leaving the maids in awe.

In an era lacking entertainment, maids rarely had the opportunity to watch plays, so they naturally wouldn't let it pass them by.

Some people might say, "Isn't this nonsense? This is about practicing battlefield skills, how could it be entertaining?"

There's nothing wrong with thinking that way, but don't forget that knights value not only battle achievements, but also reputation and honor.

A knight who uses vulgar and obscene fighting techniques will be looked down upon by his peers. Therefore, they have truly trained to make their movements more aesthetically pleasing without compromising their power.

Hearing the maids' cheers, Tim swaggered even more, and the square was filled with the whooshing of sticks and the flashing of clubs. It's only because he can't actually fly that he could have done so, otherwise he would have soared high and low.

Tim repeated the drills several times. He originally thought the maids would get tired of watching and leave, so he planned to wait until they left before teaching Lanny the movements on the paper.

But to my surprise, Susan Candy and the others seemed to be having a tea party on the side, showing no intention of leaving at all, they were just short of taking out some snacks to eat while watching.

After hesitating for a while, he still couldn't decide whether or not to teach that "three axes" thing right now.

The team members were initially excited and eager to pick up their weapons and join the fight, but Tim just stood there without saying a word or moving, and no one knew what he was doing.

Seeing that he didn't move, the team members didn't dare to move either. The few who were bolder at most whispered something, but they didn't dare to make any other movements.

"Hey, Black Tiger, what do you think the master is doing?" Gavin couldn't resist his talkative nature and asked Black Tiger using his newly mastered technique of speaking without moving his mouth.

Black Tiger didn't have that skill, and not daring to speak, he could only whisper a "shh" to shut him up.

Seeing that Black Tiger dared not speak, he became more and more enthusiastic, "I think Lord Tim has probably forgotten the later moves and is thinking about it. Did he look at something else when his teacher was teaching him?"

"Hey, Joe, do you think his teacher might have a beautiful daughter, and he's so busy looking at his pretty female classmate that he missed the whole lesson?"

"Of course, it's also possible that his teacher's wife is very beautiful; who can say for sure..."

Listening to Gavin spouting nonsense, the surrounding team members all had strange expressions, their faces flushed, and they were holding it in with great difficulty.

Fortunately, Tim finally made a move.

"Next, I'll practice a few... a few... um, a completely different set of moves!"

Looking around at the guards who were listening attentively to him, he gritted his teeth, closed his eyes, and decided to ignore it. Let it be awkward; dragging it out like this wasn't a solution.

"No talking, no asking questions, and no inquiring about the source during the viewing. Watch as much as you can. I will not perform the first set of movements a second time until you have mastered them!"

"Attention!"

After saying that, he shook his hands, stepped forward with his left foot, leaned his body into an "I" shape, pulled his right hand back to gather strength, tensed his whole body, shouted "Snake!", and thrust his right hand forward with all his might.

With all his might, he swung his hands upwards, causing the red-tasseled spear to flip in the air, so that the spearhead was pointing towards him. Tim then jumped up and caught the spearhead in mid-air, using all his strength to swing the shaft downwards, still shouting "Tiger!"

Jump... ...

As the gun slammed into the ground, the surrounding men felt a tremor, and dust billowed high into the air. Several guards nearby were unable to dodge in time and were so frightened that they retreated repeatedly, their faces ashen.

Tim didn't even glance at them. He withdrew his gun and, using the twisting force of his upper body, thrust it to his side. The thrust was extremely fast, and the tip of the gun even emitted a faint whistling sound.

"dragon... ..."

Tim's favorite move is this one. It's very similar to the Knight's Reverse Sword move, both of which use the power of the waist and upper body to generate explosive force. However, the Reverse Sword involves swinging a longsword, while this move involves thrusting out a spear.

However, those around him had a different experience. What shocked them the most was Tim's move of leaping high and slashing down heavily.

In that instant, many people felt completely powerless to resist, and those who were less daring were even stunned and unable to react for a long time.

The maids, standing far away, couldn't feel any of this. They only thought Tim's movements were so cool and stylish, even cooler than before, which made them gasp in surprise.

Of course it looks cool! After all, it was inspired by movies and TV shows. Although Tim incorporated his own understanding of knight training and made some minor changes to make the moves more realistic, the core elements remain, making it highly entertaining.

After practicing the strange move called "Three Axes" which actually consisted of five or six movements, Tim adjusted his breathing while observing the reactions of his teammates.

The reason he didn't want to practice in front of the maids was because he felt it was really embarrassing to shout while doing the movements. He was just unaware of the term "chuunibyou" (a Japanese term for someone with delusions of grandeur), otherwise he would definitely think he was a chuunibyou teenager.

Contrary to his expectations, the team members reacted with great excitement, even more so than during the previous demonstration. Their eyes were practically overflowing with excitement and anticipation.

In other words, they were under discipline, and could only express their desires with their eyes. Gavin, however, was bold enough to shout "Report!"

"Say!"

Gavin, having received permission, asked the question on everyone's mind: "Sir, what is this set of movements called? When can you teach us?"

After saying that, he chuckled again, a rather lewd laugh.

"Hehe, this set of moves is so cool! If we learn it, wouldn't we... wouldn't we be able to make the girls scream for us too?"

 …

Ignoring Gavin's lewd thoughts, Tim waved him back to the team before saying, "I told you before, no questions, no questions about where they come from!"

"Shh..." The team members looked disappointed.

Tim, however, changed the subject and took a deep breath!

"Since you're so eager to know, I'll tell you. But I'll make it clear first: you're not allowed to ask about the source, and you can't learn it until you've mastered the first set of movements. Understand?"

Hearing that Tim had actually shown leniency, everyone perked up and shouted in unison, "Understood!"

Okay, the name of this set of movements is...

"Three axes..."
