Time flies like an arrow, and in the blink of an eye, it's the second day of the second lunar month, the day the dragon raises its head. On this day, the sun shines brightly, the wind is gentle, and the streets are bustling with activity, as people are immersed in the joy of the festival.

In the morning, Princess Linglan, accompanied by her maids Chunhua and Qiushi, arrived at the General's Mansion to meet Su Yunruo. When Su Yunruo learned of Princess Linglan's arrival, she hurriedly rose and joyfully greeted her at the door. Princess Linglan's face lit up with a radiant smile upon seeing Su Yunruo, and the two were delighted to see each other.

Today, Princess Linglan wore a light pink silk dress, as delicate and beautiful as a peach blossom in spring, which made her even more stunning. Chunhua and Qiushi were also dressed up carefully, looking exceptionally neat and energetic.

"Yunruo, today is a very auspicious day for the Dragon Raising its Head! The streets must be incredibly lively! Let's go out and take a look!" Princess Linglan excitedly pulled Su Yunruo's hand, her eyes sparkling with anticipation. Su Yunruo smiled and nodded, then turned to instruct the servants to prepare a carriage for them. She and Princess Linglan then walked towards the gate.

The streets were bustling with people, filled with lively chatter and the sounds of vendors hawking their wares and children laughing and playing. Princess Linglan and Su Yunruo looked around curiously, their eyes drawn to all sorts of novel things. Chunhua and Qiushi, along with Tangqiu and Rendong, followed closely behind them, holding the trinkets they had just bought, their faces beaming with satisfaction.

Suddenly, a commotion arose ahead; it turned out to be a group of acrobats performing. The group quickly went over to watch, and saw that the performers were highly skilled, drawing cheers from the crowd. After watching the acrobatics, they browsed a few shops, and then Su Yunruo led Princess Linglan to the Jinyufang shop, which belonged to the manor.

"Sister Linglan, let me show you around the jewelry store under our manor—Jinyufang." Su Yunruo said as she took Princess Linglan's arm.

"What? Jin Yu Fang is actually a property of your Qingyu Manor? This shop sells some of the best jewelry in the capital. I always thought it was just an ordinary jewelry store!" Princess Linglan said in surprise.

"Don't you know, Sister Linglan?" Su Yunruo asked curiously.

“Jin Yu Fang is very mysterious. The Right Minister’s family’s jewelry store once tried to cause trouble for Jin Yu Fang, but after being taught a lesson, they became unusually obedient. Therefore, many people are speculating about who the owner behind Jin Yu Fang is, and some even suspect that he is a member of the royal family or a powerful figure,” Gongsun Linglan explained.

“I don’t know about this. My master handed over the estate to my second senior brother five years ago, and he’s been managing it ever since,” Su Yunruo said.

"Your second senior brother is amazing. You must ask him for advice when you have the chance," Gongsun Linglan praised.

"Sister Linglan, I'll give you the one you like later," Su Yunruo said with a smile.

"Ladies, what kind of jewelry would you like to see?" The shop assistant greeted them warmly as they entered the store.

"Take us to the third floor, Youlan Residence," Su Yunruo instructed the waiter.

"Alright, ladies, please." The waiter led the way.

"Sister Linglan, let's go." Su Yunruo pulled Gongsun Linglan and followed the waiter upstairs.

Upon arriving at Youlan Residence, the two sat down at the table. Su Yunruo asked the waiter to bring over the latest jewelry for Princess Linglan to choose from.

Princess Linglan looked at the jewelry brought out by the waiter with delight in her eyes. She picked up a gold hairpin and examined it closely; it was inlaid with a crystal-clear sapphire that shimmered with a mesmerizing light.

"This is so beautiful!" Princess Linglan exclaimed.

Su Yunruo smiled and said, "I'm glad you like it. There are many more. Take your time to choose."

She examined each piece carefully, occasionally picking them up to try them on herself, imagining how they would look on her. Su Yunruo smiled and patiently offered her advice.

"Yunruo, what do you think of these jade earrings?" Princess Linglan asked, picking up a pair of earrings.

Su Yunruo looked at them and said, "Sister Linglan, these earrings are indeed beautiful, but I don't think they match your outfit today. Why don't you take a look at some others?"

Princess Linglan nodded and continued her selection. After a while, she finally chose a white jade hairpin with an exquisite orchid pattern carved on the head, simple yet elegant.

"Yunruo, I'll choose this one," Princess Linglan said with a smile.

Su Yunruo nodded and asked the waiter to wrap the hairpin up.

"I'm glad you like it, sister," Su Yunruo said.

A sudden commotion erupted downstairs, growing louder and louder, as if it were about to pierce the ceiling. Su Yunruo frowned slightly upon hearing it, a hint of confusion in her eyes. She turned to the waiter beside her, gesturing for him to go down and see what was happening.

The waiter immediately understood and quickly went downstairs to check the situation. A short while later, he came running upstairs, panting and looking anxious. He leaned close to Su Yunruo's ear and whispered, "Miss, something bad has happened! Two customers downstairs are arguing over a piece of jewelry!"

Upon hearing this, Su Yunruo was startled, but she remained calm. She gently waved her hand, signaling the waiter to calm down. Then, she turned to the maid beside her and instructed, "Quickly go and fetch the manager to handle this matter." The maid nodded and hurried away.

Soon after, the shopkeeper arrived in a hurry, a layer of sweat still clinging to his forehead. He bowed to Su Yunruo and then quickly turned and went downstairs to deal with the dispute.

Time ticked by, and Su Yunruo sat upstairs, quietly waiting for the shopkeeper to return and report. Finally, the shopkeeper, looking exhausted, came upstairs, wiping away sweat as he reported to Su Yunruo, "Miss, the people arguing downstairs were Su Ning'er and Meng Qiuxian, the eldest daughter of the Right Minister's family. It's all been resolved now. I'm so sorry to have disturbed your and the Princess's enjoyment."

Upon hearing this, Su Yunruo frowned slightly, a hint of displeasure flashing in her eyes. She waved her hand, indicating to the shopkeeper not to worry, and then asked, "What is Su Ning'er up to now?"

The shopkeeper took a breath and replied, "Miss, Su Ning'er took a fancy to a set of jewelry that Miss Meng ordered from our shop a few days ago. Miss Meng happened to come to pick it up today. Neither of them was willing to give in, so they had an argument."

Gongsun Linglan frowned, her tone carrying a hint of dissatisfaction: "This Su Ning'er is too inconsiderate. She actually argued with someone in public. It's simply unbecoming."

Su Yunruo snorted coldly, a hint of disdain flashing in her eyes: "She has always been this unreasonable and domineering, there's no need to pay any attention to her."

At this moment, the shopkeeper spoke again, respectfully saying, "Miss, Princess, I have already given that set of jewelry to Miss Meng."

Su Yunruo nodded in satisfaction and said approvingly, "Well done. You handled today's matter quite well."

The shopkeeper quickly thanked him, his face beaming with joy: "Thank you for your praise, Miss. I will certainly work even harder."

Gongsun Linglan picked up the white jade hairpin she had just chosen, turned to look at Su Yunruo, and said with a smile, "Yunruo, let's not let these worries spoil our mood. I really like this hairpin. Let's continue browsing."

Su Yunruo smiled and nodded, replying, "Okay, sister." Then, the two stood up and left Jin Yu Fang.

After leaving Jin Yu Fang, Su Yunruo and Princess Linglan did not rush home, but chose to continue strolling around outside, enjoying this rare moment of leisure.

As they strolled along, they admired the exquisite jewelry and gorgeous clothing displayed at the street stalls, occasionally stopping to pick out a few items that caught their eye. These pieces were all remarkably delicate, some even handmade, making them irresistible.

Before we knew it, the sun was gradually setting in the west, and a magnificent sunset glow appeared on the horizon.
