The Strongest Magician of Gods

Chapter 30: The Terrifying Werewolf

It was a mutated face, with eyes that glowed green and carried a hint of bloodlust, a high-rising nose, and fangs curled up in its mouth.

The fangs were about an inch long, and large amounts of filthy saliva dripped from them, landing on Mo Bei's face.

Mo Bei roared in pain, his stomach burning and churning from the strong, fishy smell.

What kind of monster is he?

Mo Bei let out a strange cry, cautiously examining the mysterious creature before him. Its long, messy hair covered its mutated face, and its fierce eyes glared at him, while a terrifying wolf howl emanated from its mouth.

Looking at the creature's body, clumps of curly hair grew wildly from its skin, and its limbs were bent together, making it look just like a huge silver wolf.

But Mo Bei knew that the monster in front of him was not a real jungle wolf, but a terrifying creature passed down through generations in the Western Middle Ages and recorded in top-secret documents for countless years—a werewolf.

The werewolves in the magical world are different from the widely circulated secrets of the Western Middle Ages. The werewolves here are more terrifying and ferocious, and are recognized as enemies by magicians.

The werewolves in this world still have human appearances and the virus they are born with. However, werewolves of lower levels will tear off their human skin disguises and be completely exposed to the world on the night of the blood moon.

The night of the Blood Moon is the grandest gathering among werewolves in the magical world. When that day arrives, werewolves bathe in the aura of blood, frantically purifying their bloodline power. They strive for sublimation in this extreme state, hoping to glimpse a trace of the ancient wolf king's transformation within their bloodline and cultivate accordingly.

Bloodline is the werewolf's greatest potential.

"It was...it was you, you bastard, who killed Noah. I will never let you get away with this."

A heavy, pungent stench emanated from the werewolf's foul mouth, its heavy breathing carrying a terrible resentment.

The werewolf's immense strength suddenly pressed down, and only then did Mo Bei realize what kind of enemy he was facing.

"Swish"

A chill emanated from the ring.

Name: Renault

Age: 36 (adult)

Type: Werewolf (Tier 3)

Bloodline: Silver Wolf Bloodline (Awakened)

Abilities: Silver Wolf Claws (Tier 3), Steel Body (Tier 3), Tear (Tier 3), Self-Healing (Tier 3)

Rank: Vajra Silver Wolf (Tier 3)

……

Mo Bei glanced at the information in his mind and couldn't help but be amazed. If his life hadn't been threatened at this moment, he might have been frightened by this series of messages.

The fact that all of them were at the third tier indicates that the werewolves were roughly equal to him, or slightly stronger.

"There's still a chance," Mo Bei calmed down, and a few flashes of inspiration came to his mind, and he regained his confidence.

"You bastard, I'm going to kill you!"

Renault kept muttering a name, his five fingers curled up in his palm, but those fingers could no longer be called a complete hand; without flesh and blood, they had turned into five hard bone spurs.

"puff"

Five bone spikes fell rapidly, their sharp, gleaming bones piercing through the holes, and Mo Bei's heart sank.

"You bastard, you came all this way just to kill me? Ha, do you really think I'm made of clay?"

In an instant, Mo Bei raised the magic wand in his right hand, and a burst of fire shot out from it.

"Basic Magic: Fire Wall"

Mo Bei shouted, and seeing the sharp bones falling from the sky, he had no choice but to use magic to defend himself.

Before his eyes, a wall of fire solidified an inch in front of Mo Bei's chest, and the werewolf's huge body was isolated by the fire wall spell, and was lifted up.

"bang"

The three-foot-thick wall of fire, upon touching the sharp bones, emitted a tremendous tremor that spread outwards.

The werewolf's fierce eyes flickered slightly as his arm, imbued with immense power, struck the fire wall spell.

"Hoo"

Taking advantage of this delicate opportunity, Mo Bei twisted his body and cracked his arm, forcefully breaking free from under the werewolf. He then kicked off the rock beside him and slid backward out from under the werewolf's crotch.

"crash"

The wall of fire shattered, and flames scattered all over the ground. Seeing that Mo Bei was not under the foundation, the werewolf was furious and slowly stood up from the ground.

After the werewolf stood up, a towering figure, resembling a small hill, came towards him. Its powerful aura was both intimidating and terrifying.

After breaking free of the werewolf's restraints, Mo Bei flipped over and bounced a few times, appearing vaguely within the werewolf's sight.

"Damn it, it hurts so much I'm sweating buckets. I'm going to settle this score with you."

Mo Bei clutched his left arm, his lips curving upwards in pain, his face contorted in agony. Just that one blow had caused a serious injury to his left arm.

"Wow"

Mo Bei channeled his magic power, tapped his magic wand, and a raging black fireball shot out from it.

Intermediate Magic: Rapid Fireball

Mo Bei seized the initiative, sliding backwards in mid-air to unleash a magical attack.

The fireball was no longer the size of a fingernail, but as big as a fist, surging with intense black flames, and bringing a terrifying high temperature that instantly ignited the werewolf's body.

What terrifying power! The high-level mage unleashed his full power, and the two fireballs trembled violently before slamming into the werewolf's body.

"boom"

The fireball exploded on the werewolf's skin, the black flames burning brightly like molten lava.

"Roar"

The werewolf roared in pain, its body writhing in the flames. The power of the black flames was too great; even such a powerful werewolf could not withstand the waves of heat.

"Black Flame is really too powerful, but it's too difficult to cultivate."

Mo Bei was alarmed by the power of the black flames.

"It's a pity. Using black flames against werewolves is rather far-fetched. Werewolves are only afraid of the temperature of black flames, not their power. And this other werewolf that Renault mentioned, could it be the one I killed in town? But how did he find me and follow me all the way here? Could it be my scent? If so, then my scent will become stronger with every werewolf I kill. What a hassle," Mo Bei muttered.

"Roar"

The werewolf tumbled in the black flames, and after a few breaths, it regained its footing and leaped out of the fire.

"What bizarre magic! If this magic were even a little stronger, I would have been killed."

A murderous glint appeared in Renault's eyes, yet his body remained unharmed amidst the flames.

"A third-tier steel body, almost immune to all my magic, this is troublesome."

Mo Bei pondered. He knew this battle would be difficult even before it began, because in his previous life, werewolves were most afraid of silver items. Whenever a werewolf hid among humans, they were indistinguishable from them, and silver items were often used to expose their true form.

"What should I do? My basic magic is almost completely countered by the third-tier Steel Body. I can use Dance of Fire in critical moments, but I lack offensive power. Fireball can't do any damage. If I use advanced magic and fail to defeat it, my cultivation level will collapse, and it will be difficult to escape the werewolf's clutches."

Mo Bei analyzed his own strengths and weaknesses, and felt a deep sense of despair at the werewolf's power. The last time he killed the werewolf, it was because Ye Jianju broke through the werewolf's defenses.

Now, Mo Bei no longer has a powerful weapon to break through the werewolf's defenses.
