Chapter 39 Plan failed

The next day, Ito Sawa woke up in the soft morning light. He quickly got ready to greet the new day. As he stepped into the elevator, he unexpectedly ran into Ichinose. The two exchanged a friendly glance and naturally decided to go to the classroom together.

"Good morning, Ichinose." Ito Sawa's voice echoed in the elevator.

"Good morning, Ito Sawa," Ichinose replied, her smile warm and friendly.

As they stepped out of the elevator and onto the path to the classroom, many girls greeted Ichinose warmly along the way. Their faces were beaming with smiles, clearly showing their familiarity and fondness for Ichinose.

In contrast, although Ito Sawa was also greeted in passing, he could sense that he was merely someone who was mentioned incidentally.

Ito Sawa couldn't help but tease, "Ichinose, you're really popular, everyone likes you."

Upon hearing this, Ichinose blushed slightly and lowered her head shyly, saying, "No, I just did what I was supposed to do. You guys are the ones who really did a lot."

Her expression was sincere and humble, clearly indicating that she genuinely believed she had only done her duty.

Ito Sawa looked at her, his expression turning serious: "Ichinose, you shouldn't underestimate yourself like that. Everyone knows your kindness and thoughtfulness, which is why everyone is willing to be close to you."

A flicker of surprise crossed Ichinose's eyes, followed by deep gratitude.

She gently bit her lip, then looked up, her eyes shining with determination: "Thank you, Ito Sawa. I will remember your words and continue to work hard."

Ito Sawa and Ichinose walked slowly into the classroom, their eyes scanning the room before being drawn to a blond boy.

The boy was standing by the table of Net Warehouse Mako, with a warm smile on his face.

They didn't know the boy, but they decided to observe him from the sidelines to see what his purpose was.

The blond boy's gaze was gentle yet focused, and his voice possessed an irresistible charm: "Hello, I'm Hashimoto from Class A. I noticed you at the club information session yesterday, Amakura-kun. Your attentiveness and focus back then were truly impressive."

Asako Amakura looked up, a hint of wariness flashing in her eyes at the sudden conversation, but she remained polite: "Hello, Hashimoto-san. Thank you for the compliment, but I was just trying my best to do what I was supposed to do, and it's nothing to be praised for."

Hashimoto smiled gently and leaned forward slightly, as if trying to close the distance between them.

A hint of sincerity flashed in his eyes: "Wangcang, you're too modest. I observed you at the interest group information session yesterday. When you were helping the senior with the booth, you answered every question so patiently and meticulously. Your focused and hardworking attitude is truly admirable."

His voice was gentle and charming, naturally transitioning to the next topic, "I think this has something to do with your teacher's teaching, right? I've heard that your teacher's classes are very interesting, I wonder if you could share some of that?"

His expression was natural, and his tone revealed a genuine interest in the teaching methods, skillfully shifting the topic from praising her personally to discussing teaching methods.

A hint of doubt flashed in Asako Amakura's eyes. She keenly sensed something hidden behind Hashimoto's question: "Hashimoto-kun, why are you so interested in our teaching methods?"

Hashimoto's expression remained natural, as if he had been prepared: "Oh, I was just curious, after all, I've heard that your teacher's teaching methods are very interesting."

At that moment, Ito Sawa and Ichinose walked over. Ichinose's voice was gentle yet direct: "Hashimoto-kun, if you're interested in our teaching methods, why don't you just ask our homeroom teacher?"

Hashimoto turned around and saw Itosawa and Ichinose. A hint of surprise flashed in his eyes, but he quickly regained his composure: "Hello, I was just exchanging study experiences with Amakura. Since you're here, I won't bother you any longer."

After saying that, Hashimoto turned and left with a polite smile. Asako Amakura watched his retreating figure and whispered to Ito Sawa and Ichinose, "You've come at the right time. I sensed something unusual about him."

Ito Sawa nodded: "Yes, you guys need to be extra careful. The students in Class A are asking about our homeroom teacher's special ability. It's part of their assessment."

A hint of surprise flashed in Wang Cang's eyes, and her voice carried a trace of uncertainty: "You mean, those strange attempts he made to chat with you earlier were actually to gather information?"

Ito Sawa nodded, his voice deep and strong: "That's right, every question he asked seemed to be a probe, especially about the homeroom teacher's abilities. This is definitely not just ordinary curiosity."

Netkura Mako suddenly realized, a look of understanding flashing in her eyes: "So that's how it is. He was actually trying to get information out of me by using that strange way of striking up a conversation."

Hashimoto left in frustration. He had chosen Asako Amakura as his target because, based on his observations yesterday, he had found her to be the closest person to the core of Class B, besides Ichinose.

He originally planned to target Ichinose directly, but Princess Sakayanagi Arisu told him that any plan to directly target Ichinose was likely to be seen through and thwarted by her, leading to failure.

Therefore, Hashimoto deliberately changed his target and chose Asako Amakura. He thought he could indirectly learn about the internal affairs of Class B through her, especially about the homeroom teacher's special ability. But unexpectedly, he was still interrupted by Ichinose, so it seems he still has to find another way.

Hashimoto walked along the corridor, his brows furrowed slightly, thinking to himself, "I originally thought that Asako Amakura would be easier to deal with than Ichinose, but now it seems that I underestimated her."

A complex emotion flashed across his eyes, but he quickly regained his usual calm and composure.

"It seems I need to reassess the situation in Class B. Perhaps I should consider the issue from a different perspective."

Hashimoto stopped, gently clenched his fist as if to encourage himself, then slowly exhaled, a smile playing on his lips.

"If the hard approach doesn't work, then I'll have to resort to softer methods. In short, Wang Cang Ma Zi, I will definitely find a way to break through you."
