Chapter 28 Interesting Deals

Asako Amakura emerged from Hoshinomiya-sensei's dormitory, facing the anxiously waiting Class B students at the door.

Watanabe and Chihiro Shiranami immediately went to greet them. Their expressions and tones were different, but they both revealed their concern for the situation inside.

Watanabe was impatient; he was eager to solve the B-class assessment problem in order to win the bet with the C-class. He had worked hard but failed because of Ryuen Sho, and now he was full of resentment.

His voice carried a hint of urgency: "Netkura, how's it going inside? Is Ichinose alright? What did Hoshinomiya-sensei say?"

Chihiro Shiraha appeared timid; her personality made her reluctant to speak in front of others, but her concern for Ichinose gave her the courage to ask, "Um... Amakura-san, is Ichinose... alright?"

Asako Amakura glanced at them, then turned to everyone, her expression serious and calm: "Ichinose has decided to stay and take care of Hoshinomiya-sensei. Hoshinomiya-sensei's condition isn't very good right now, and Ichinose doesn't want to leave like this."

Watanabe looked disappointed and anxious upon hearing the decision. He scratched his head and said, "What about our assessment? We still have to win the bet!"

Chihiro Shirami said softly, "Ichinose... she's really kind, she always thinks of others."

Asako Amakura nodded. She understood Ichinose's decision and respected her choice: "Ichinose told us to go back first. She will stay and take care of Hoshinomiya-sensei. She also told me how to deal with Sakagami-sensei. We can take action first."

The students in Class B were somewhat disappointed by Asako Amakura's words, but they understood Ichinose's decision. They knew that Ichinose always put others' needs before her own, and that was precisely her charm.

“Alright, let’s proceed according to Ichinose’s plan.” Watanabe reluctantly accepted the reality. “We can’t let her efforts go to waste.”

Chihiro Shiraha nodded, a hint of determination in her eyes: "We will complete the mission, Ichinose."

Asako Amakura looked at everyone; she knew that Ichinose's sacrifice and decision had given them new motivation. She encouraged them, "Let's work together and live up to Ichinose's expectations."

Ito Sawa and Kanzaki led the students of Class B back to the office door, where they found Shibata had been released and was sitting on the ground looking dejected. Seeing this, Ito Sawa couldn't help but gasp, thinking to himself that Sakagami-sensei's methods were indeed ruthless; every student he had "tortured" seemed to have suffered a considerable blow.

When Shibata saw them return, he merely raised his head lazily, showing no intention of standing up. The students from Class B gathered around, and apart from a few who went to comfort him, the others discussed what to do next. Seeing Shibata's appearance, they were all somewhat intimidated and hesitant to go in and face Sakagami-sensei.

Seeing this, Ito Sawa knew he couldn't delay any longer, so he volunteered to go in and negotiate with Professor Sakagami. His voice was firm and strong: "I'll go talk to Professor Sakagami. You all wait for me here."

Everyone was deeply moved by Ito Sawa's words. They knew that Ito Sawa was taking a risk, and they admired his courage and sense of responsibility.

At that moment, Shibata, who was sitting on the ground, suddenly looked up and warned, "Watch out for the shadows if you're going in."

Ito Sawa nodded, took a deep breath, and composed himself.

Then he slowly pushed open the office door and went inside.

Reminded by Shibata, Ito Sawa became somewhat wary of the situation he was about to face.

Sakagami-sensei's special ability is related to shadows, which makes him even more cautious.

As he walked into the office, the door slowly closed behind him.

To his surprise, the room wasn't completely dark, but rather enveloped in a faint glow, casting thin shadows over all the objects. However, the overall atmosphere remained dim, with a sense of oppression permeating the air.

After a while, Ito Sawa's eyes adjusted to the indoor light. His gaze sharpened as he observed his surroundings, searching for any possible unusual activity.

While observing, he cautiously spoke up: "Sakagami-sensei, I'm Itō Sawa from Class B. We have something we'd like to discuss with you."

Suddenly, he noticed that his shadow had become unusually active, as if it had come to life, and was quietly wriggling, trying to trap him.

Thanks to Shibata's reminder and his own supernatural alertness, Ito Sawa dodged the shadow's first attack with agility.

At the same time, a small gray-black chess piece appeared on the chessboard in his mind's eye, landing in a new place.

Then, his figure moved like a nimble cat, swiftly leaping to the side to avoid the shadow's entanglement once again.

A surprised "Huh?" came from the darkness, as if Sakagami-sensei hadn't expected him to dodge the attack so easily.

However, then, all the shadows, big and small, rushed towards him in the room, making Ito Sawa's situation even more difficult.

He moved nimbly, leaping like a dancer on a stage, each movement precisely avoiding the shadow's attacks.

His figure moved swiftly in the dim light, leaving behind blurry afterimages. With each dodge, the gray-black chess piece in his mental sea slowly grew stronger and became more solid.

However, the office space was too cramped, and there were too many shadows, so Ito Sawa was eventually trapped. His figure was entangled by countless shadows, unable to move.

Only then did he finally see what Sakagami-sensei looked like. Sakagami-sensei wore gold-rimmed glasses, was well-dressed, and looked like a hypocrite.

He looked at Ito Sawa with a very interested expression.

Facing Mr. Sakagami, Ito Sawa showed no fear. He took a deep breath and calmly said, "Mr. Sakagami, I want to make a deal with you."

His voice echoed in the office, breaking the tense atmosphere.

A hint of interest flashed in Sakagami-sensei's eyes, seemingly curious about Ito Sawa's suggestion: "A trade? What do you have to trade with me? What's your secret to being able to dodge my mental attacks and being so agile?"

Ito Sawa was somewhat surprised; he hadn't expected that Sakagami-sensei's attack just now included a mental attack.

Unfortunately, he knew nothing about his own ability and couldn't explain it to Sakagami-sensei, so he had to quickly change the subject.

“Our Class B is capable of helping the students in Class C, and you can help us complete the assessment. This is beneficial for both you and Class C.”
