Chapter 2 The Charm of Ichinose

Although he still had many questions, he had no choice but to get off the bus since it had already stopped.

Then, after getting off the bus, he was soon met with a new shock.

He had thought his understanding of the world would allow him to navigate it with ease, but now it seemed things were far more complicated than he had imagined.

He clearly remembered that in the original work, Gao Yu's gate was a huge natural rock gate.

But now, he was faced with a cold iron door.

The cold iron door chilled him to the bone.

This made him begin to doubt whether he had really traveled to the Practical Education.

Even those two from earlier never revealed their identities; they even used their own preconceived notions about names.

Really, right?

Standing in front of the school gate, he was stunned and began to pay attention to the gate.

This gate wasn't open to welcome anyone like a typical school; instead, it was tightly shut, as if testing the resolve of everyone who tried to enter.

It consists of two heavy black iron gates, without any signs or plaques, but this does not prevent it from exuding a unique charm.

The surface of the door seemed to shimmer with a subtle light, as if an electric current was flowing through it, but it wasn't exactly electric light; it was more like some kind of more subtle and advanced energy.

As he approached, he could even feel a slight tremor, as if the door itself were alive and had its own consciousness.

On either side of the gate were towering stone pillars, engraved with symbols he had never seen before, which seemed to form a protective halo around the gate.

Ito Sawa couldn't help but reach out to touch the symbols. A warm and gentle power emanated from his fingertips, giving him a sense of inexplicable peace.

He noticed that the top of the door seemed to be inlaid with several gems of different colors, which shimmered with an unusual light under the sunlight.

Ito Sawa's hand lingered on the iron gate, his heart filled with even deeper doubts and unease. Where had he come from? Was this still the training ground?

He stood frozen in place, his mind raging, when suddenly, the figure of Koenji Rokusuke appeared in his sight.

Koenji looked at Ito Sawa standing there, stunned, and sneered, seemingly disdainful of his indecisiveness.

He reached out and pushed open the iron gate, walking in without looking back, his posture revealing a sense of confidence, even arrogance.

Ito Sawa made a quick decision: he followed Koenji inside, intending to get some information from him.

His intuition told him that Koenji must know the current situation, and at least knew more about the school's secrets than he did.

Koenji seemed to have seen through Ito Sawa's thoughts. He spoke arrogantly, his voice carrying a hint of provocation: "Boy, are you really going to come with me? I already know my class. Can you be sure your class is the same as mine?"

Ito Sawa opened his mouth, intending to speak, wanting to inquire about the school and confirm whether he had truly transmigrated into the world of Practical Education.

However, Koenji saw that he hadn't given up and coldly interrupted him: "The teachers of each class will explain what you want to know. So, you don't need to follow me anymore."

Knowing that Koenji wouldn't give him any more information, Ito Sawa had no choice but to give up following him.

He turned and walked toward the bulletin board, where he should find the information he needed.

Ito Sawa walked to the bulletin board and looked at the dense crowd gathered in front of it.

He skillfully weaved through the crowd, searching for any gaps he could exploit. With great effort, he finally managed to squeeze into the crowd despite the surrounding complaints.

After finally squeezing his way to the front of the bulletin board, he looked up and carefully scanned the class assignment list.

We should definitely start with Class A.

He scanned the list twice, but unfortunately, his name was not on the A-class roster.

So he could only keep reading.

When he found out he had been assigned to Class B, he was somewhat dissatisfied, but at least he breathed a sigh of relief.

Thankfully, he wasn't assigned to Class D.

Otherwise, he really wouldn't know how to calmly interact with the group of people in Class D.

Although Class B lacks individuals with strong strategic skills, at least they are united enough.

As long as you can consistently lead them to victory, they are a reliable group of teammates.

After carefully reviewing the names of the other people on the bulletin board, I felt relieved; the class assignments for the characters with names and surnames from the original work were consistent with those in the novel.

So it seems that it might just be a sudden change in the bus schedule.

As for Koenji, it's not surprising that someone of his status would know the inside story.

Ito Sawa tried to calm himself down and convince himself that it was just a minor accident.

Just as he was about to leave the crowd, he saw a blonde girl who also seemed to be leaving the crowd.

For some reason, Ito Sawa felt that she had a very strong sense of approachability.

So, almost as if guided by fate, he followed behind her, intending to figure out the source of her affability.

The girl didn't notice she was being followed. Instead, she walked directly towards a brown-haired girl.

The girl was blocked by the crowd and looked anxious. She obviously wanted to squeeze in to see the announcement, but she couldn't get through the dense crowd and didn't dare to speak.

"Hello, it seems you'd like to see the information on the bulletin board. Do you need my help?"

The brown-haired girl turned around and saw Ichinose's warm smile, which eased her tension slightly.

"Ah, yes, I wanted to check my class assignment, but there were too many people, I..."

The blonde girl nodded understandingly, her voice full of encouragement.

"It's okay, let's try it together. Everyone, could you please let us pass? Let us see our class, okay?"

The crowd around her, who had been impatiently pushing and shoving, suddenly changed their attitude when they heard her polite and gentle request.

People began to make way for Ichinose and Chihiro Shiranami.

Chihiro Shirami watched all this in surprise and whispered to Ichinose, "Thank you. I thought no one would pay attention to me."

The blonde girl chuckled softly and led Chihiro Shiraha towards the notice board: "No, everyone is very friendly. By the way, I still don't know your name."

"Ah, I... I'm called Chihiro Shirahami. It's nice to meet you!" Chihiro Shirahami quickly introduced herself.

"Hello, Shiranami-kun, I'm Ichinose Honami." Ichinose extended his hand in a friendly manner, and the two shook hands briefly.

Ito Sawa quietly observed the whole process from the side, secretly astonished.

Unexpectedly, she turned out to be Ichinose, the leader of Class B.

He then remembered that when the book first described her, she was indeed a blonde girl, and she only dyed her hair after July.

However, this made Ito Sawa feel even more at ease.

If even such details are taken into account, then this must be the world of Practical Education.

but...

He frowned as he looked at Ichinose's retreating figure.

When Ichinose asked everyone to make way, the change in the attitude of those around her was so obvious.

Even he himself felt an involuntary urge to go along with her.

"Is Ichinose really that charming?"
