Chapter 11 Kanzaki’s Judgment

Kanzaki's reason for leaving so decisively is simple: Ito Sawa's reason is obviously false. A mental wall-type ability would never allow mental power to probe and invade the mental sea.

But even if it was just a fleeting glimpse, I was certain that my spiritual power had entered his spiritual sea.

Therefore, either Ito Sawa is completely unaware of his own superpowers, or he simply refuses to tell the truth.

Based on his judgment, Ito Sawa had no idea how to use his special ability; otherwise, his acting would have been too convincing. Therefore, there was no point in continuing the argument.

Meanwhile, Ito Sawa finished the deluxe meal and felt full of energy.

He was about to pick up his tray to see if there was a conveyor belt or something similar on campus so he could deliver it there. He also wanted to take this opportunity to observe the cafeteria's kitchen and see if he could discover any more secrets about the school.

However, as soon as he stood up, a ghostly waiter appeared beside him like a phantom.

The waiter moved quickly and silently, picking up Itosawa's plate almost before Itosawa could react.

Ito Sawa was startled and hurriedly reached out to stop him, but the waiter moved too fast for him to reach.

"Wait, I..." Ito Sawa tried to call out to the waiter, but the waiter seemed not to hear him at all and simply turned and walked away.

Then, the waiter's figure slowly disappeared into the air along with the plate.

Ito Sawa stood frozen in place, his eyes fixed on the direction the waiter had disappeared, but nothing happened.

He even looked in the direction of the order window, but didn't see any trace of the Shadow employees.

Helpless, he had no choice but to give up and head towards the teaching building.

Everyone is waiting for Shibata's investigation results.

Sure enough, when Ito Sawa entered the classroom, he found that all the students were already sitting in their seats, and the air was filled with an atmosphere of anticipation and tension.

They were all waiting for Shibata to return from his investigation of the swimming pool.

Ito Sawa returned to his seat, greeted Ichinose, and then, like the other students, kept glancing towards the classroom door.

Soon, Shibata appeared at the door. He looked somewhat disheveled, his clothes were soaked, and his hair was messy, clearly indicating that he had experienced something unusual.

The students immediately surrounded him, helped him to his seat with concern, and asked him what had happened.

After sitting down, Shibata took several deep breaths, trying to calm himself down. A trace of fear still lingered on his face, clearly indicating that the experience had left him shaken.

He looked at his classmates and said in a trembling voice, "There's no way the pool can hold all the water."

The students looked at each other, unanimously agreeing that it was impossible. How could the pool not be full? That didn't make sense.

They calmed Shibata down and had him slowly recount what had happened to him.

Itosawa, Ichinose, and Kanzaki surround Shibata, listening to him recount his experiences.

Ichinose asked with concern, "Shibata, you said the water wouldn't run out, what happened?"

Shibata took a deep breath and began to describe his experience.

"I dived to the bottom of the pool and found that there was no outlet at all."

But I didn't give up and borrowed a high-powered water pump from the logistics department.

The logistics teacher looked at me strangely, but didn't say anything, instead handing me the water pump.

When I got back to the swimming pool, I pumped the water at full power, but the water level didn't drop at all.

Then, just as I was about to give up, water suddenly rushed into my mouth and nose like crazy. My balance ability was completely useless, and I almost thought I was going to die there.

After what seemed like an eternity, I finally came to my senses, but the swimming pool was already quiet again; even the water pumps were gone. Terrified, I ran back immediately.

Ito Sawa listened patiently to Shibata's account. When he got to this point, his eyes flashed, and he suddenly interrupted, asking, "Wait a minute, Shibata, you just said that after you were attacked by water, the water pump disappeared? Besides the water pump disappearing, did you see any teachers from the logistics department at the scene?"

Shibata shook his head, looking somewhat confused: "No, I was too confused at the time and didn't notice where the teacher was. The water suddenly receded, and then I realized that the water pump was gone."

At this point, Kanzaki interjected, asking, "Shibata, did you notice the direction the water was coming from?"

Shibata frowned, trying hard to recall: "No, I was too panicked at the time and didn't pay attention to the direction at all."

Ito Sawa looked at Kanzaki: "Kanzaki, do you know something? What exactly is going on?"

Kanzaki shrugged, looking relaxed: "I can tell you, but I need to know how you defended against my ability first."

Although I felt he didn't know, there was no harm in trying, since I had originally planned to share my own judgment anyway.

So he decided to make this deal with Kanzaki.

“I can tell you, but you have to explain the pool situation first.”

Kanzaki was somewhat surprised, not expecting that Ito Sawa actually knew, and that his acting was truly flawless.

"Okay, I'll tell you. The water in this pool is actually controlled by a powerful superhuman."

This superhuman can manipulate water, and is most likely a Water-type user of the Water Element.

When Shibata tried to pump water, he probably felt it was a provocation, so he let the water hit him.

Ito Sawa frowned: "Then why did the water pump disappear?"

Kanzaki shook his head: "I don't know. It might have been done by that superhuman, or it might have been some kind of protective mechanism at the school."

After hearing his answer, Ito Sawa nodded seriously, his expression becoming solemn.

Just when Kanzaki thought he was about to tell him the reason, he suddenly answered seriously, "I don't know."

Kanzaki was taken aback, as if he had misheard, and subconsciously asked, "What?"

Ito Sawa repeated, "I said, I don't know what my special ability is."

Kanzaki looked at his expression and confirmed that he wasn't joking.

Therefore, just as he had previously judged, he was completely unaware of the truth about his superpowers.

And yet, in his haste, he was fooled by his clumsy deception.

Although he didn't suffer any real loss, the feeling of being mocked still made him furious, and he vaguely sensed a sense of familiarity.

"Hmph, that kind of answer doesn't count. Remember, you owe me an answer."
