"What? They were taken away?" Linta asked in surprise, his eyes falling into deep thought as he pondered the reasons.

Jin Gong shouted angrily, "The real culprit is obvious, it's that Flame Fox Moke! Sneaking around like that, without a trace, if he's not the murderer, then who is?!"

Linta then asked, "Where was the goblin stone boss taken? Do you know?"

“We were quite surprised when we saw the Flamefox Mok bring the goblin stone out. We knew there was something fishy going on. So Jingon took you back first, and I went to track him down alone. In the end, I caught up with him in another dungeon,” Shia replied.

Linta frowned, slightly taken aback.

"Another prison?"

There are two dungeons in the city. One is a large dungeon for ordinary mortals. The other is a dungeon specifically for magic users, with magical restrictions.

Linta was quite puzzled: "Although that goblin boss can use magic, it can't be that bad, can it?"

The low-ranking bronze goblin mages are not as threatening as the dwarf Gingon, whose magic is imprisoned. Furthermore, the second dungeon isn't very large; not just any random enemy can be imprisoned there.

The little fish-man chattered away, seemingly agreeing. The bear-man, Pinecone, looked blank, seemingly understanding but not quite. The thief, Maren, huddled in the corner, pondered the matter.

Maren asked in a low voice, "Then... why did Flamefox take the goblin boss away?"

The key question is: why take them away? Why weren't they imprisoned in the magicians' dungeon the first time? Why come here in such a hurry tonight?

Kim Gon turned to look at Maren, a look of confusion in his eyes.

"How would I know what that bastard is thinking!"

A glint of light flashed in Lin Ta's eyes, and he said solemnly, "Perhaps they feel unsafe."

“Of course it’s not safe, we’re all thinking of breaking him out of prison,” Kim Gong replied.

Sheila said in a cold tone, "Fool, they don't know we're going to break them out of prison."

Linta said, "Shia is right. How can the other side feel unsafe? Even tonight's attack doesn't prove that we were after the goblin stone. Besides, we attacked Flamefox himself. Shouldn't he feel that someone is plotting against him?"

"This...?" Jin Gong was speechless.

Guagua nodded in agreement, "Kela Kola."

Linta continued, "Why would the other party care about the safety of a murderer? Isn't that strange? Would you care about the life or death of a criminal who is unrelated to you? No way."

Jin Gong said, "It is very strange. Doesn't this further prove that the Flame Fox Moke is the murderer?"

The thief Malen volunteered, "He works under Duke Vasquez, and he will not obey orders from anyone other than the Duke."

The Duke of the Kingdom of Modly. Brandon Vasquez, the ruler of Sandel County. His family has been a powerful force in the county for three hundred years, truly local tyrants. Anyone connected to his family, even a servant, is treated with superior status. The importance placed on a high-ranking Silver Knight in the Duke's mansion is therefore self-evident. The entire city's patrol duties fall under his control.

If anyone could command him, it could only be someone from the Duke's mansion.

Linta hesitated, not giving a direct answer.

"If we can find out where Flame Fox Moke went before coming to the dungeon tonight, we should have some clues."

The places the other party visited and the people he saw before coming to the dungeon must be the reason why he rushed here in the dead of night to carry out his business.

Sandel City Library.

This is the largest library in the entire Sandel County. It's also a source of pride for the Vasquez family. They funded the construction of the entire library, collecting books from merchants throughout the continent of Oia to enrich it. The Vasquez family felt this was a great achievement that could symbolize glory to outsiders.

However, this great achievement is not something that everyone can admire.

"You want more money?" Lin Ta, who was stopped at the door, looked surprised.
