The magician Josby's hand spell was blocked and countered by Linta. This was an astonishing feat even for such an experienced magician.

His own magically conjured giant hand possessed immense strength; he could easily block a thousand-pound magical beast with his bare hands. But his opponent had actually blocked the attack with his own flesh and blood! If he had been wearing armor and weapons like Lord Zetton Rubel, he wouldn't have reacted so emotionally.

"Iron Rhinoceros Charge!"

A howl, like that of a rhinoceros, echoed in the illusion as Linta charged forward, crashing headlong into the still bewildered Josby.

Under the power of the card's swift wind, Linta's figure moved with incredible speed, his body glowing with magical energy, and the rhinoceros beast materialized before him.

"Oh!"

The impact resounded, the magic collided and surged, and the aftershocks swept outwards with powerful winds.

Beck Rubel was terrified and speechless. He had never imagined that this dwarf's accomplice, the one who had defeated the Black Hound Knight, possessed such terrifying strength!

Josby's expression was solemn and grave, his robes fluttering as he fought against the aftershocks.

He quickly recovered from his initial shock, but it was too late to defend himself against Linta's attack. Fortunately, Lord Jaden Rubel shielded him from the blow!

Linta stared at the head of the Rubel family, who was only a few feet away.

He once again blocked the attack with his armored arm, revealing the silver-gray armor beneath his robes. Linta's charging magic vibrated upon contact with the armor, then vanished without a trace, like a waterfall cascading over a boulder.

"What's your name?" the head of the Jeton family asked seriously.

"Linta!"

Linta responded indifferently, then swiftly created distance and retreated to Jin Gong's side, who still hadn't fled.

GimGoon gripped his warhammer fearlessly and said in a rough, agitated voice, "Let's fight our way out. Let's fight our way to the street; there are more people there, and in the chaos, we'll have a chance to escape."

Linta shook his head. "It's too late. We're already surrounded."

"Huh?" Jingon glanced around and only then realized that the Rubel family's servants and soldiers were already hiding behind the walls of the buildings.

Jin Gong looked distressed and gritted his teeth.

“Master Josby, you deal with that dwarf. I’ll handle this man,” Jaden Rubel said calmly.

"Yes." Josby agreed without hesitation, a hint of pleasure on his face. He didn't want to fight that inexplicable Linta again; he was too unpredictable and terrifying. On the contrary, this dwarf, a low-level Silver dwarf, was much easier to deal with compared to his own high-level Silver strength.

Jin Gong shouted angrily, "Who do you think you are?!"

With a loud shout, he charged at the mage, wielding his warhammer.

"The Hand of Technique! Boundless Power!"

Two enormous hands, conjured by magic, reappeared, their powerful, clenched fists striking towards Jin Gong.

"Haa!" GimGoon swung his hammer forward.

"Bang!" The force of the hammer strike collided with the giant fist, and the magic power vanished.

Although his magic power was only at the low-level silver rank, the hammer was of superior quality, which offset his disadvantage in magic power. For a time, the two were able to fight on equal terms.

But, none of this matters.

Anyone with eyes to see knows that the outcome depends on Linta and Jaden Rubel.

"Are you really only a mid-level Silver?" Jeton asked curiously.

Linta did not answer, and the long sword appeared in his hand.

Jaden continued, "This is the first time I've seen a Silver rank like yours."

"Edivine!"

The vines broke through the soil and spread rapidly toward Jaden Rubel.

Jaedon Rubel showed little emotional fluctuation. He stood calmly in place, his gold-level magic emanating from him, along with his high-quality armor, forming an invisible defense. The earth vines shattered and broke within five feet of his feet.

Linta showed no emotional fluctuation as he charged close.

"Ice Ring!"

The magic was released, unleashing thirty percent of the power of the magical artifact, and a gust of icy wind and snow blew towards the opponent.

"Sizzle!" The wind and snow were hitting Jetton's armor, and the armor was slowly covered with a layer of frost.

At that moment, Lin Ta closed in and slashed down with his sword.

"Thunder Ring!"

Arcs of electricity crackled and lightning flashed; the sword, still possessing thirty percent of the power of a demonic artifact and carrying the might of thunder, slashed head-on.

"Crack!"

Jaedon Rubel retaliated, his magic erupting, the frost on his armor shattering, and a punch imbued with the power of his armor struck towards the Thunder Sword Slash.

"Bang! Bang!"

The magic collided with a deafening roar, the powerful impact spreading and kicking up clouds of dust.

The lower-level gold-grade magic was superior, directly suppressing Linta's attack, and Linta was uncontrollably blasted away.

Meanwhile, the Rubel family soldiers who had been secretly surrounding them seized the opportunity to make their move.

"Fire arrows!"

"Whoosh!!!"

Arrows forged from refined iron ore, imbued with magical power, shot towards Lin Tower.

"Damn it..." Linta glanced out of the corner of her eye and immediately realized the other party's decision. From the beginning, the other party hadn't been thinking about fairness or impartiality; they had only one goal, and it had remained the same from start to finish!

"GimGoon! Watch out!"

Amidst the aftershocks, Gingon, who was struggling against the sorcerer Josby, had no time to worry about being ambushed.

In the blink of an eye, arrows pierced Jin Gong's thighs, calves, backs, and arms...

The same barrage of arrows came hurtling towards Linta.

At this moment, Linta did not have time to use his magic skills.

"Club 3, Shadow!"

Behind him, a shadow appeared, its non-flesh-and-blood body acting as a shield, blocking every sneak attacking arrow.

“Oh?” Jaedon Rubel looked slightly surprised.

The swift wind sped forward, disappearing into the gaps between buildings. Its speed and reaction were so rapid that even Jaden Rubel was caught off guard.

Before fleeing, Linta punched the ambushing enemies hiding in the shadows a few times. Several screams echoed from inside.

"Sir, he has escaped," Josby said sadly.

Jaden Rubel remained calm and showed little emotional reaction.

Beck Rubel was overjoyed. He walked up to Gingon triumphantly and stepped on his head. "Haha, you little rascal, you've finally been caught!"

"Guess how you're going to die..." Before he could finish speaking, Baker felt a chill from his father and quickly shrank back.

Jaedon Rubel looked down at the indignant Gingon and said meaningfully, "If you're alive, he'll come back to save you. Whether you live or die is not important. But he has to die."
