William knew he had to put on a spectacular show here. Therefore, he had to return and rely on the story of his supposedly awe-inspiring master to protect himself.

After all, the patriarch of this family has been hiding and has not yet shown himself.

“But I have some good news for my uncle,” William said, returning to address him as uncle just as Berry’s father was at a loss for words. His sudden change in tone caused both elders to raise an eyebrow.

"These items, and many more, will be sold at the Academy's Forging Department."

"So, you refused to show us your forging methods, but instead showed them to the blacksmiths at the academy? And what's with that thing of yours, uncle? Wasn't I your senior just now?"

Even after William told him the news, Berry's father did not intend to let his audacious and rude son undergo such a change in attitude, and remained silent.

“We were just having a friendly competition, and you were my senior. We've finished, and I'm the winner. So now you're the father of my good friend.”

"..." As William reasoned, Berry's father found no words to defend himself in front of the child.

Uncle Berry, standing nearby, couldn't help but laugh, reigniting the flame in his younger brother's heart. However, a brief warning message successfully extinguished the fire instantly.

The situation here is under control, and Berry's uncle, Gran, also knows that the old patriarch is the mastermind behind it all.

Otherwise, his dear brother would have already done what he always does insanely.

“I cannot allow any outsider to get so close to my father without knowing anything about him.” Even though Karom knew everything, he remained stubborn and uttered these words in a cold tone.

“Brother…” Grandma looked at Carol strangely, seemingly surprised by his words.

He had never believed William before. But when his uncle intervened to stop Carom, Grandma knew that what William said was indeed true.

“Just wait here…” Even though Callum couldn’t touch William or vent his anger on him, he wanted to see his father and find out why.

What on earth is going on? Why is he protecting this child like this? These thoughts crossed Karom's mind as he began to walk toward the mansion's gate.
