In other words, William not only blocked his path but also timed it, making it impossible for such a Soul Master to escape without being hit.

"You son of a bitch! What are those little things of yours?!" Amidst the loud rumble of dust, a figure flashed out and emerged from within, roaring as he aimed his fist at William's chest.

“My brother…you’ve lost,” Uncle Berry announced in shock just before Callum’s fist was about to land on William. “You used your soul power, which is not allowed.”

"Damn it! Fine! Let's see if this kid will give me another punch like he said." Berry's father's fighting spirit was ignited by his grandmother's words, and he walked slowly and heavily toward William.

William knew he had done something the Soul Master had never expected. Not only did he not force him to use his Soul Power, but while the Soul Master hesitated, his right shoulder was lightly cut by the explosion.

“Don’t blame me for being domineering.” Berry’s father walked toward William, his anger reaching its limit.

He could hardly believe that he had been forced to use his soul power to dodge those arrows. Now he decided to crush them head-on and not give William another chance to launch such an attack.

So he drew a sword and said those words in a spirited tone.

“How childish! Knives are for women!” Just as Berry’s father took a few steps forward, William stepped back the same distance, took out several knives, and threw them at Carom one after another.

The latter, as always, anticipated the arrow, yet faced the flying blade. But this didn't change his strategy; he merely diverted their attention. Even at such close range, William's throwing ability was nothing compared to the sword-wielding speed of a Dark Gold Soul Master.

"Damn it! Watch out!" Just as Berry's father was about to take a step forward, he suddenly felt two sharp pains in his back, which puzzled him.

He knew something was wrong when his brother warned him!

"This..." He stood there, stunned, reaching down to his back to check the source of the pain. To his surprise, the two knives he had just deflected were now embedded in his back.

He wasn't wearing any combat armor because he never thought he'd need any. When his hands touched something sticky and warm, he knew it was his blood.

"You..." Karom had barely realized this when, in a fit of rage, he unleashed all his soul power. "You despicable bastard! You are not allowed to come near my daughter!"

In Berry's father's eyes, this weak Soul Master disguised as a porter was not an honest warrior. He was inclined to use such dirty tricks to ensure his victory. This caused William to lose all the points he had previously earned, and even deducted a considerable number of points.

However, Berry's uncle didn't raise a warning against his brother; instead, he warned William. In fact, he hadn't expected the conflict to end this way.

Grandma never expected William to do something like this. It was the first time Gran had ever seen an arrow that exploded upon hitting the ground without requiring any soul power to trigger it.

Even though William demonstrated an extraordinary and precise ability to control the timing, it was not as as astounding as his second attack.

These knives! At first, they looked like ordinary kitchen knives. But when the older brother pushed the two away, Uncle Berry saw them bend in mid-air without releasing much soul power.

If one isn't fully focused, it's easy to miss these fluctuations and changes in trajectory, and ultimately be struck by them. That's exactly what happened to his brother.

However, when he saw the knife arc through the air, aimed at his brother's back, he anticipated what would happen next and how Carol would react.

His brother was a battle maniac, but also a bitter loser. So the warning shout wasn't directed at his brother, but at William.

And just as his brother said, he was about to do as his brother expected, and Uncle Berry had no choice but to act quickly and stand between the two.

“You’d better stop now,” Grandma said to his brother, trying to bring him back to his senses.

"There's one last blow left. Otherwise, do you think I'd give up after just these two defeats?" However, Berry's father had no intention of backing down.

"Father! Please stop!" Just as Berry's father was standing still, his beloved daughter's scream made him stop in his tracks.

"He's a bad person! He actually attacked me with such dirty tricks! He didn't even use soul power or soul skills! Is he really a soul master? A knife is for women, not real men! Are you?" Even a soul master?

He asked William one last question, to which William simply raised his left hand in response. A faint bronze soul power, like a small fire dance, appeared on his hand. He clenched his fist, and Berry's father roared.

"I'll kill you right now! Let's see who dares to stop me!"

William used his mental powers not merely to answer Carom, but to pull out the two knives deeply embedded in Berry's father's back. This was his response to Berry's father's demands and threats.

"Senior, are you going to back out? Killing me is easy, but clearing your name is impossible."
