At this moment, William realized that he had to wake up and return to this world, a world where even a mere Dark Gold Soul Master was far beyond his capabilities.

Hours earlier, when he saw the angry headmaster, he felt a sense of helplessness and powerlessness. And now he was experiencing it again in the hands of a passing elder.

Even though William knew many things others didn't, even though he came from an era of fighting the world's most terrifying and powerful enemies, and even though he possessed superior technology, he still began his journey from such a low point.

He did do a very good job, but it wasn't until this moment that he figured it out.

"Alright! I hate liars more than ridiculous idiots! Let's go in and see what you're saying. I swear on my soul, if what you told my uncle is wrong, then you're finished! You hear me?"

“Yes, senior.” William did not tremble, nor did he back down; not even a trace of fear appeared on his face. Such meticulous details would naturally not be missed by the keen eyes of such a powerful Soul Master.

This puzzled the Soul Master. What exactly happened in this world while he was away cultivating?

In the elder's eyes, a porter was standing right in front of him, and his legs didn't tremble as one would expect.

Moreover, he pointed his spear at the porter's neck, making him wonder whether he was a porter or a Soul Master.

"Welcome back, Grandma."

"Welcome back, Elder."

As William and his group approached the gates of the Long Clan's mansion, they were greeted by a group of Soul Masters.

Each group consists of at least ten Soul Masters and appears to be on patrol.

Upon seeing them, they were initially wary, but then noticed their elder. They all stopped, greeted the elder respectfully, and William smiled as they passed through the gate.

"It seems that this elder has a good reputation within the Long clan."

"You wouldn't understand, you're just a mover. And who gave you the right to talk to me? Hey! Aren't you his owner? Why don't you say something to shut him up?"

The elder named Grant seemed annoyed by William's attitude; he was the only one who had spoken to him since they met.

“Elder, he’s not a porter…and I’m not his master.” Ali glanced at William furtively, sensing that William didn’t want him to reveal too much about his identity in front of the elder.

"Not a mover? Not his owner? You're all a strange bunch!" Grandma shook her head. "What happened in this world while I was gone? I've only been gone for a few months!"

"Is the elder cultivating outside?" William gleaned this clue from his words. "Or is he simply carrying out a mission for the family?"

There are few people in his family, in his academy, and even in the kingdom who can speak to him so carefree.

The more Grandma looked at William, the more uneasy she became. After all, William was still hanging from his spear, which made her wonder if the boy had lost his mind or something.

"So you were training outside." William nodded, his words making his grandmother even more excited. "I want to hear what the elders think about porters."

"About what?!" Just as Gran was about to explode in front of William, and even considered killing him at all costs, William suddenly asked a strange question.

"I know that we porters are the lowest class in the entire Soul Master society, but I am curious what the elders think of people like me."

"Aren't you a porter, or are you a porter?" Grant turned to Ali, asking about what the latter had said to him earlier. Ali couldn't help but curse William's nonsensical mouth inwardly.

William had just met this elder and wanted to learn more about him. William knew that if he waited until he met the Dragon Clan Chief, the elder might consider what he had to say.

So now was the perfect time for him to find out what kind of person this grandmother was. Grant had let his guard down and underestimated William. Therefore, he wouldn't care what William said.

“I am one of them,” William said, not answering directly, “but what do the elders think of us?”

"What do you think an elder like me would think of someone like you?" Grandma put aside her anger and confusion, and was even more curious to hear William's opinion on the matter.

“Hmm… As an elder, you shouldn’t concern yourself with someone like me. But that doesn’t mean you’ll mistreat us, right?” William threw the bait back, waiting for the elder’s response.

"Not good to you? Whether you're a porter or a Soul Master, once you cross the line, you'll pay the same price as everyone else. That's how I live my life."

"You're a straightforward and righteous young man," William thought to himself, without showing any emotion on his face.

"Grandma Elder, you've finally arrived."

Before William could say anything, a Soul Master recognized his elder and ran towards him.

"Lophias... what's wrong?" Grandma seemed to recognize the young Soul Master. However, as Lophias approached, he noticed the strange group of people, including his elders.

“This…” When he saw the porter being threatened by the elder’s spear, he hesitated and looked William up and down.

William knew nothing about the poster incident beforehand. Therefore, he found the Soul Master's gaze somewhat strange.
