At first glance, he saw a large number of dots gathered together, forming the shape of a two-headed brown tiger.

This was the first time he had ever seen the legendary Great Meng spirit from the principal's family. He was astonished to find that the lion had two small wings attached to its back.

This is not only an earth-type martial soul, but also a rare flying martial soul.

William did not stop there, but began to look at these points more deeply.

He knew that her soul power was more than enough to easily break through the two thousand mark. She was still in the Martial Soul Expansion Period, the third stage of Martial Soul Evolution.

For that alone, she could be considered a genius in this world, a kind of genius that's hard to find here. But that's not what he wanted.

He wanted to see deeper, beyond the surface of the spiritual point. When he did, he found what he was looking for.

"As expected..." When he saw the dark threads forming a kind of net deep within the center of those shimmering brown dots, he couldn't suppress his shock and murmured to himself.

"What did you find? What's wrong with me?"

"Why does everyone draw the wrong conclusion when I say such things?" William wondered to himself, finding the whole thing very strange.

“This is good news for you,” William said, not lying to her. “Tell me, do you know the concept of the spirit element?”

“Of course,” Sarah gave William a strange look, “that’s common sense for anyone.”

"Do you know what a dormant spirit element is?" William expected her to know the term "spirit element." But he wasn't asking her this to waste time or to make fun of her.

"What does this mean?" She blinked twice, and a satisfied smile crept onto his face.

Seeing that smile, Sarah was somewhat annoyed. "Tell me, what does this mean?" In order to get that smile from him, she had to act like the granddaughter of the college dean.

She didn't go out often, and didn't even interact much with the academy's disciples. Therefore, she hoped he didn't know her true identity. With that smile, she considered introducing herself properly.

She hadn't done this before because she didn't think their relationship would go any further after this meeting. Besides, she wasn't as arrogant as her older brother.

But William's attitude made her feel that the boy looked down on her, telling her things she had never heard of before in a fancy but useless way.

But before she could even begin talking about herself—something she didn't like—William beat her to the punch, speaking calmly:

"Our souls all possess elements, as you surely know. But not all the elements we are born with are activated. In rare cases, our elements may remain dormant, awaiting the right opportunity." (This is meant to "cause a disturbance...")

His sudden calm and reasonable words cut off all her negative thoughts about him, making her mutter softly, "Just like what happened to me last night?"

William nodded in response to her words.

"But... do you know what element lies dormant within me? Do you know how to activate it?"

His saying such things indicates that he already knows the element lurking within her soul. Most importantly, if he doesn't know how to activate it, then the speech is meaningless.

“Do you see those little black dots in the middle of those brown dots?” William didn’t rush to answer her question. Instead, he moved closer to the crystal and pointed to what was inside.

She followed his finger, squinted, and tried to concentrate on what he was saying.

Seeing that she couldn't see anything clearly, she lowered her head, trying to see more clearly.

She had seen and examined the crystal before. To her, it was simply a set of very beautiful, shimmering brown dots moving slowly within the crystal in her hand.

But when she looked closely, she saw some black dots in the center of all those pretty, shiny brown dots that she had previously struggled to notice.

"What are these?" she asked, looking up at him with a mixture of doubt and confusion.

“They represent dormant elements within your spirit,” William explained slowly. “Your spirit contains the element of earth, which is why your dots shimmer with a brown light. If you properly activate these dormant elements, then these brown dots will glow darker, taking on a blackish hue.”

"Black? Black spiritual energy? This isn't..." A crazy thought flashed through her mind that she dared not even utter aloud, and could not even believe.

“That’s right,” William nodded slowly, “the dark element is lurking within your mind, waiting to be activated.”

"But... how could this be?! Wait... does this mean..." She trembled all over, even taking a step back and letting go of the crystal.

William anticipated this reaction and quickly grabbed the falling crystal to prevent it from shattering.

"What on earth do you want to do?!"

Just as William was about to reach the crystal, a thunderous roar suddenly rang in his ears, causing him to stagger back a few steps and even cough up blood.

The next instant, a figure appeared in the room, a figure that William recognized very well.

"headmaster!"

"grandfather!"

The two children gasped simultaneously. Just moments before, the principal had finished dealing with urgent matters and, as usual, had been keeping an eye on William.

However, when he saw William's room, the same room where he had slept the night before, he was stunned by what he saw!
