Even when using a weapon other than a sword, the attack power is slightly weaker than the single arc released before, but it is still a fierce attack.

After all, both of his moves were driven by swordsmanship.

"But the theory behind this works best with projectile weapons... Arrows can't be held like swords. I can't stack attacks on them... It would be ridiculous if I had to dance in front of the enemy before killing them... What would they call me then? A dancing madman or something?"

This failure didn't discourage him too much. He was simply trying to find other uses for what he had found there.

So instead of using his soul power to attack with his sword, he considered layering these attacks onto something he could throw later, and then severing the connection with it.

In this way, he won't be forced to give up his soul power. Soul power is only consumed during the initial part of casting the spell.

He considered his arrows, but quickly abandoned the idea, as using such a comical method in battle would seem awkward. There was another compelling reason for abandoning the idea.

"If my sword weren't a high-grade sword, it simply wouldn't be able to withstand such devastating power being stacked on it..." He thought about the other problem he would face if he decided to use a different weapon instead of an arrow.

"The best would be a broadsword and a spear... I'd choose the broadsword. Dancing with such a fierce weapon wouldn't be too awkward. And I could throw it at the enemy like a stick or something. The enemy would never do something so strange as to invite such an attack..."

But he had no longsword, let alone a spear. Buying one wouldn't be easy.

Swords, axes, sabers, knives, bows, and spears are the most common weapon types in the academy, no matter where in the world.

However, it is well known that swords, sabers, bows, and knives are cheaper than axes and spears. As for broadswords, they are even harder to find, and their price is almost two or even three times the standard price of a sword.

"With my limited soul power, I might not even be able to forge a high-grade sword..." He could only sigh inwardly and temporarily use such a powerful technique to push the weapon away.

"It works!" Just as he guessed, throwing away the sword would grant him a weakened skill, but it wouldn't consume too much soul power.

The horrific explosion had only consumed twenty percent of his soul power. "But this will ultimately cost me my weapon," he knew it might seem impressive, but it wasn't perfect.

In battle, fighting alone without weapons is tantamount to a death sentence for any Soul Master.

"That's a matter for later." He sheathed his sword, deactivated the hidden formation, and retrieved the materials.

After so much time, the materials looked about half as good as when he first used them. The array seemed to be struggling with something that was accelerating the consumption of the materials.

William wasn't surprised, because he knew perfectly well who had clashed with his formation. As far as he knew, there were more than one, but two powerful Soul Masters monitoring him.

He then went back into the building, leaving behind a completely damaged garden and even parts of the wall collapsed!

The formation shielded the interior from any attempts to spy on it and prevented any events occurring inside from leaking out.

When he returned to the small house, he found the two girls were not there. He knew they were still sleeping. So he randomly chose a room, laid down on the soft mattress, and fell into a deep sleep.
