After all, even the highest-level monsters here are subject to the limits of power in this world. And this is of no help in breaking through the limitations of this world.

He knew that his ability to devour would propel him to the top of the world. But if he wanted to surpass that, he needed to find a training manual to help him take that step.

"I can postpone choosing a training manual until I reach the Gold level at least," he decided, then shifted his attention to the next technique.

The next type was the one he was looking for: one related to the elements. Although this technique was extremely powerful, it still put a lot of pressure on his soul power.

After several hours of deliberation, he decided to go all out and modify some of the techniques he knew to better suit his current situation.

“I know the main theories behind these technologies… but I have three elements I never had in my previous life… so I must try and test them first…”

It didn't take him long to choose three cultivation techniques that could be used in conjunction with his martial spirit.

After careful consideration, his choices have been narrowed down to these three.

First, they have the lowest rate of spiritual energy consumption and the lowest requirements. Second, they are related to each of his three elements.

Finally, they were perfect for his gold-grade sword.

The techniques used by a Soul Master are also related to the weapon they wield. For example, the techniques for using a dagger, sword, saber, and knife may look similar and be suitable for any of them.

But William knew that subtle differences that many Soul Masters might overlook could be enough to significantly increase Soul Power consumption.

He wouldn't be like those ignorant soul masters, nor would he use techniques that are inherently unsuitable for swords.

Then it comes down to the theory behind each technology.

Each cultivation technique consists of the steps required to perform it, the required spiritual energy, the amount of soul power required to trigger the minimum form, and the spiritual energy consumption rate when performing any technique.

However, the most important thing is the theory behind each technology.

William knew that not all Soul Masters understood this. Those who did were capable of modifying or even devising entirely new techniques, just as he intended.

Of these three techniques, one is related to lightning. This is known as the Lightning Eagle Technique.

This technique allows a Soul Master to run more than 100 meters in a second, gather momentum, then leap nearly 10 meters in the air before landing with their sword.

The attack produced by this technique is composed entirely of lightning, like an eagle falling from the sky and landing on the ground to hunt its prey.

This is a deadly move, and its most lethal aspect lies in the speed at which it is executed.

If the enemy cannot reach that speed, then he will be caught in the ensuing devastating attack.

Not to mention the need for speed to build up momentum, or even for the subsequent explosive attack.

The essence behind this technology is very simple: speed! William knew that without the momentum before launching this attack, the attack would lose much of its power, or even become impossible to execute.

But the pressure on his body was not so easy to bear. He had to accelerate in less than a second to cover a distance that would take ten seconds to traverse.

The second technique is related to the dark element. As is well known, it is a deadly assassin-type attack that is not easily defended against.

This is called the Still Moon Technique. When used, the Soul Master blends into the surrounding darkness, moving at extremely high speeds, covering hundreds of meters in just a few seconds.

The Soul Master uses the surrounding darkness as a power source, saving a significant amount of Soul Power to unleash this attack.

While moving through the darkness, the Soul Master will twirl his sword, but will not make a sound.

All the sounds and energy from the swings are stored in the sword until the Soul Master reaches the target. At that moment, he will launch a powerful attack, gathering a vast amount of power within his body, and releasing it into the air above the target with an unavoidable, thunderous roar.

The most lethal aspect of this technology is that it remains silent until an attack occurs.

Many believe that the foundation of this technique lies in the darkness surrounding the Soul Master. After all, darkness conceals the movements of the Soul Master using this technique, allowing them to execute exquisite assassinations that are difficult for the opponent to retaliate against.

However, William knew this was not true.

The true essence of this technique lies in the convergence of numerous striking forces when a Soul Master moves silently in the dark.

The final blow won't deliver its infamous destructive effect unless you stack as many swings as possible.

The third technology is related to the element of light.

Many Soul Masters, including powerful ones, have a common misconception that all light-based techniques are related to purification effects.

But William knew the deadly nature of the light element technology.

The technique he chose was called the Star-Burning Technique. By repeatedly swinging the sword, the Soul Master would release his Soul Power, causing it to burn within the sword.

Within five seconds, at least twenty actions need to be performed to charge up an attack. And each of these attacks must be carried out in a specific way that William is familiar with.
