"Will this place be like this too?" Tina looked at William with wide, innocent eyes, her gaze full of expectation.

William felt it was terrible to lie to such lovely eyes, and it disappointed her even more. "That would be a pretty nice place," he said, and Tina took that as an agreement.

She raised her little fist high, then jumped over the remaining steps and ran to check the rooms. "I'll choose a room first, and no one is allowed to choose before me," she shouted from the spot.
