William noticed that there were many people in the garden. This was his first time here. In his previous life, he had never visited this building or any of the surrounding buildings.

“Come with me,” Tang San said in a low voice as he entered the garden. “Don’t say anything until someone asks you to.”

William nodded, giving Lina and Tina a silent warning, emphasizing this point. Whatever crime he had committed, offending the principal's pride was more serious than anything else.

Upon entering, a spacious hall greeted William and his party. The hall, nearly 500 square meters in size, was filled with numerous seats and tables for discussion, though the walls were sparsely adorned with statues and paintings.

The hall wasn't empty. William could see about fifty people surrounding a slightly elevated seat in the center, like a throne. Behind the throne hung a large red curtain with the college's emblem prominently displayed.

A middle-aged man sat on the platform, his face conveying a sense of ease. He was the current dean of the Desire Academy, a Soul Master named Meng.

William recalled the little information he knew about this person. He came from a prestigious family and had nurtured many great figures for the Soul Master world and academies.

Based on past rumors, he knew that the position of head of the academy was usually held by a direct descendant of this family. He knew nothing about their spirit or true strength, but their reputation and authority spoke volumes.

Although calm, he appeared strong and domineering. William did not let this facade deceive him and lower his guard. On the contrary, he became even more vigilant.

William wanted to curse the old man, but he held back at the last moment. William didn't think Guan Ning held that much authority in his family. But he seemed to have underestimated that filthy young disciple.

For reasons William couldn't understand, the acting patriarch of the Guan Ning family appeared and came to take his blood! And when William thought the old man had said enough, Guo didn't stop there and continued.

"He went out of the forest alone—a porter, a weak and helpless porter, defenseless—not only did he enter the forest and return unharmed, but he was also involved in a massacre that occurred within the group." This happened not far from here, among the disciples of Jintian.

"What evidence do you have on this?" The principal seemed to be neutral, calmly adding, "Accusing someone of treason is a serious matter, as you know very well."

William sensed a strained relationship between the principal and Old Man Guo. His last sentence seemed to say little. But at least the principal didn't fully support the accusations, instead demanding an explanation with such a forceful attitude.
