Rebirth: Supreme Soul Master

Chapter 370 Temporary Stronghold

“Cough,” the waiter, like Law, was shocked by William’s words. However, Law’s reaction was quite different; his face was wet with pink liquid.

He was better at dealing with the eccentric customers who came here. Without a trace of anger on his face, he took out a white tissue and wiped the pink drink stains off his face.

“Of course, sir, but it’s an exclusive membership that costs ten million crystals per month.”

"I can come anytime, and order whatever I want?" Hearing such an outrageous price, Luo's face instantly turned bright red. And when she heard William's strange and casual reply, her face turned as black as a moonless cloud.

“Of course, sir, the membership includes these.” The waiter nodded without any excitement. This wasn’t the first time he’d encountered this situation, and most (if not all) people who asked this question were just daydreaming.

“Besides,” he said, continuing with his work without thinking about the final outcome, “the membership covers all meals for the month. This means that Mr. can also order meals for his friends. In addition, Mr. can leave his residence and pick up a special message form from us. Then, he can order anything he wants to eat at any time from home, and we will deliver it to his door as hot as possible.”

"That's great!" William said with a smile. "Could you call the manager?"

"T...Manager?!!" Not only the waiter said so, but Luo said so too.

William planned to use this place as his base for the next few months. The mission of gathering intelligence and hunting down the leader of the dark spirits would not be easy or quick.

He loves it here! From any perspective, it's the perfect refuge that people dream of in the apocalypse.

Therefore, he plans to expand his territory here. If he has the opportunity to improve his physical condition, he will not hesitate.

As for that outrageous price, he has a way to deal with it.

“Hey, this is no joke,” Luo said, shifting his seat next to the waiter as he hurried away. He glanced around and lowered his voice as if afraid someone would overhear their conversation. “The manager is one of the most powerful and terrifying people in the fortress! Don’t mess this up! This isn’t about saving face or showing off. I’ve already given up. You win. Let’s get out of here while we still can.”

She even took the initiative, wrapping her arm around his and trying to pull him off his seat, intending to drag him out.

“Hey, stop messing around,” William shook off her hand. “Who said I was joking? I’m here to talk business!”

I like people like you who are straightforward and honest!

Just as Luo was about to speak to dissuade him, a strange voice came from behind them, startling them both.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you..." The voice came from an elegant old man who looked remarkably similar to the person who had brought them here, only a little older.

He walked over and sat down in front of them, a faint smile on his face that told William he didn't believe William's intentions in being there.

“It’s nothing,” William waved his hand casually, while Luo sat up straight, a move that did not escape William’s notice.

“I heard from my men that someone wanted to talk to me about Red Party membership here,” he paused, looked William up and down, and then added, “but I have to admit, I never thought it would be a child the size of my daughter coming to me.”

“Excuse me, sir, we are about to leave…” Luo even cupped his hands in a megaphone shape and bowed, clearly signaling to William how dangerous and powerful this seemingly humble man was.

“I asked you to come,” William said firmly, ignoring all her warnings.

“I’m here,” the man waved his arms, his smile widening slightly, “but I must tell you, if you’re hoping to bargain or discuss installment payments, I’m sorry to disappoint you. We don’t allow that here.”

“Who said I wanted this?” William rolled his eyes, then took his most valuable item off the ring. “I wanted to ask if you accept transactions for these kinds of items. If not, I’ll just go back to that place, auction these things off, get the money back, and take the membership home.”

William nodded in the direction of the Reeves caravan base.

The man was completely unconcerned about meeting William and Rowe. When the waiter came over and told him that two children were asking him about Red Cross membership and had come looking for him, he dismissed it as a childish joke.

He may be a difficult person to get along with, but that's in other places, not here.

Golden Fork Restaurant is his family's ancestral restaurant, and he puts extra care into everything related to it.

Over the years, he had witnessed all sorts of strange things from his customers. So he didn't take them to heart until he heard William's calm words and saw what William was holding.

"A dark gold core? It must be a scarlet monster, right?" A bright light flashed in the middle-aged man's eyes, but an emotional storm was brewing in his chest.

His brothers and family members all died at the hands of these ferocious beasts.
