“It’s time to see if I can do it.” William set up this array around himself not to absorb the core. He knew that doing so would not pose a real threat, nor would it take long.

But when he reached the 700 mark, the mid-Bronze level, he wanted to try something he had failed at before.

"Hopefully, this is enough." He took several deep breaths, finally regaining his composure. He had only tried once before, when his soul power was much lower than it is now.

His past failures taught him that he lacked sufficient power to activate his Martial Soul. But after these intense battles, he realized he had missed something crucial.

If he could activate his Martial Soul like other Soul Masters, he would have an extra reliable weapon by his side. This made him eager to try it out.

“If I succeed, I’ll have a terrible card in my sleeve,” he encouraged himself, because failure comes at a price.

"Ah!" Just as he began to activate his divine soul, he felt as if his entire body was being tormented by endless needles. The power of the barrier throughout his body was stirred up and stirred against his will, making him feel as if the power of the barrier was molten lava inside him, rather than the power of the barrier.

Half a day later, a large-scale search for William began. This brought a lot of fighting to the team, putting them under tremendous pressure and ultimately resulting in many injuries.

Everyone volunteered for this search mission, facing numerous monsters outside, with zero reward.

At night, most (if not all) weaker monsters were attacked or frightened by the terrifying gold-level monsters. This left the entire world around the protective barrier devoid of weaker monsters, filled instead with deadly humans.

Every time they attempted to venture deeper into the forest, venturing into areas of the forest that they could not see or detect with Ibra's spiritual senses, they would end up fighting a terrifying creature.

Gradually, they began to think the worst. No one dared to fight these monsters, not even a team like theirs, even with a Gold-level Soul Master and a group of Silver-level Soul Masters by their side.

Therefore, when they all thought about William's fate, they couldn't help but think about his demise.

“No, he’s still alive,” Berry kept saying. “I can feel it! He’s alive! Let’s search further, let’s go find him again.”
