Rebirth: Supreme Soul Master

Chapter 21 Hammer Uses Bizarre Skills

The only question that kept flashing through her mind was whether this was the secret William had mentioned earlier, or whether he had more to surprise her.

She quickly got her answer.

William worked diligently for a full hour. After using up most of the Homos clay, he finally covered the seven kilograms of scarlet vitality ore.

“One task is completed, but there are still many more to be done.” He put the last batch of processed ore aside, muttered to himself, and then stretched.

Although his soul power had increased to thirty-five points, it was still considered weak. His next task was to use a hammer to forge, and in a tedious way.

But this didn't stop him. When William picked up the hammer, he found it was quite heavy. Although it wasn't made of a special alloy, it weighed at least five kilograms.

Lifting it with one hand made his muscles tense. But he not only needed to hold it with one hand, he also needed to move it constantly for a long time.

"Do you need any help here?" At this point, Elena's previous impression of William completely changed. His performance just now was enough to prove that he was a forging genius.

Her previous stern attitude vanished, replaced by a gentle one. Not only that, she wanted to know him better. Therefore, helping him here was the best way for her to get what she wanted in the future.

"No need, but thank you anyway." William declined simply, then took out a normal, active mineral from his three-kilogram collection and took a deep breath.

"Be careful!" Elena cried out in fear. If before she had spoken of this warning out of kindness and purity of heart, now she was genuinely concerned for William's safety.

If anything were to happen to him, she would lose a brilliant blacksmithing disciple. She wouldn't allow that to happen.

Immediately, her soul power surged out of her body, ready to intervene with all her might should a problem arise.

A dense, pure golden energy appeared, enveloping her body and making her appear incomparably holy. William glanced at her, surprised that she was actually a Gold-level Soul Master, so close to becoming a Dark Gold-level Soul Master.

It's important to know that most Soul Forging Masters are at the Silver level. Those above Gold level are considered experts in this world. He knew she was a powerful expert before, but he didn't expect her to be this strong.

Soul Masters who learn other professions such as forging and alchemy need to spend a lot of time on these professions. This means they will spend less time and effort on improving their soul power.

So, if Silver Soul Masters are considered ordinary, then in this secondary profession world, they are elites.

Elena anticipated that the ore in William's hand would explode. After all, judging from his posture, she knew he intended to forge it directly with a hammer and soul power.

If he didn't use a hammer, but instead threw the ore into the fire, even inside that furnace, the violent energy within that small piece of ore would explode violently.

But William's next move not only surprised her, but even stunned her!

William did not intend to commit suicide as she had anticipated. He stood still, tossing the ore high into the air as if playing with a ball, and then began to spin it with a hammer.

The hammer was heavy, so he simply lifted it horizontally, letting its weight cause his body to rotate. He didn't exert much force at first and started to spin, but then his body was dragged down by the hammer.

In just a few seconds, his speed increased to a terrifying level, even having an effect while he was spinning.

The ore he tossed high into the air lost momentum and began to fall freely. Just as it reached the height of his hammer, William took action.

He simply had the hammer strike the ore. Normally, the ore couldn't withstand the heavy blows of the hammer; it would either fall and explode, or be thrown far away and explode.

But neither happened! The instant the hammer touched the ore, William skillfully adjusted it, letting it glide across one surface of the ore instead of striking it directly.

The hammer slid across the ore and then continued spinning as if nothing had happened. In return, it lost almost all its driving force, which William could easily counteract with a small amount of force on the next spin.

But the surprising part wasn't the subtle and complex action itself, but what happened to the ore. Logically, even if William had managed to avoid a direct collision with the ore, it would have fallen to the ground under the influence of gravity.

However, to Alina's astonishment, the ore remained motionless, as if held by an invisible hand.

In the blink of an eye, the hammer spun around and began striking the ore again... over and over, for five minutes.

"What is he trying to do?!" Eileen could now swear that the skills William displayed were far from simple! She had completely believed him before. And seeing such unprecedented and unheard-of bizarre abilities, she was even more convinced that there must be some mysterious master behind him.

But she soon learned the answer to the confusion caused by William's actions. As the hammer continued to strike the ore in such a brilliant way, the ore began to shrink in size.

A piece of ore was the size of a fist. But after five minutes of continuous hammering and tapping, it was reduced to the size of a finger, even resembling one of William's thin fingers.

"Oh!" William suddenly stopped, unable to resist spinning around a few times, deliberately controlling his body's speed to force the hammer to gradually stop. But he was covered in sweat, breathing rapidly, and his face looked somewhat pale.

As the impact dissipated, the last piece of ore finally lost its invisible force in mid-air and fell to the ground with a dull thud under Alina's petrified gaze.
