Behind him, the wounded gang member, clutching his bleeding thigh, shouted hoarsely, "He's here! Someone come quick! Don't let this kid get away!"

Jin Shuai ran for a while before noticing several lights rapidly approaching him through the passage. He then heard a cacophony of footsteps approaching, sounding like a large group. Jin Shuai's heart tightened, and without hesitation, he turned and sprinted back the way he came. Just moments before, he had passed a fork in the road; now he rushed into it and resolutely turned into it. However, to his utter surprise, a group of people carrying torches were also marching menacingly towards him from this fork in the road.

Jin Shuai couldn't help but curse under his breath, "Damn it!" Then he turned around again and ran backwards as fast as he could. Before long, he reached a crossroads. Looking at the crowds pouring in from all the passageways, Jin Shuai knew he was in deep trouble; he probably had nowhere to escape. Desperate, he quickly found a spot near a wall and stood there, thinking to himself, "Am I going to die here today? Heh, even if I die, I'll take a few with me!"

Thinking of this, Jin Shuai reached out and forcefully tore a strip of cloth from his clothes. He then gripped the dagger in his other hand and tightly wrapped the cloth around his wrist and the hilt of the knife, binding them together firmly. He was ready to face the final battle of life and death.

Before long, Jin Shuai was surrounded by a large group of people holding torches. His back was pressed against the cold wall, his hands gripping a dagger tightly, his sharp eyes scanning the people surrounding him. Just then, the man he had stabbed earlier rushed over. His wound, though hastily bandaged, still bled slightly, but he endured the pain and limped through the crowd, immediately spotting Jin Shuai trapped in the middle.

The man was furious, his face flushed red, his eyes bulging like copper bells, almost popping out of their sockets. He was panting heavily, like a wild beast that had been provoked. He stared intently at Jin Shuai, gritting his teeth and cursing, "You little brat, you dare to ambush me? You're asking for trouble! I'll send you on your way today!" Before he finished speaking, he quickly turned around, snatched a thick wooden stick from someone next to him, gripped it tightly, and assumed a fighting stance.

Jin Shuai, however, was not afraid at all. A slight smirk appeared on his lips as he provocatively said, "Pah, you can only blame your bad luck. Who told you to pat my shoulder? If you have the guts, then come at me! I'm not afraid of you! If you're not satisfied, then try it. I'll cripple your other leg too!" As he spoke, he scanned his surroundings, secretly calculating whether he could find a chance to escape.

Just then, the man, dragging an injured leg, raised a wooden stick and charged menacingly towards Jin Shuai, shouting, "I'll beat you to death today!"

Facing the oncoming enemy, Jin Shuai didn't retreat but instead lunged forward. In the blink of an eye, he was in front of the man, then suddenly feinted to the right, causing the man's wooden club to smash into empty air. Immediately afterward, Jin Shuai flashed to the man's left side with lightning speed, grabbing his clothes. Then, using the momentum, he forcefully swung the man away like a sandbag.
