I'm a little bit cute after transforming.

Chapter 18 A Leisurely Journey

A flash of light, and the two disappeared into the magic circle.

Watching the two disappear, Doris wiped away her tears and murmured:

"You must come back!"

When Diana came to her senses, she was already in a jungle.

The blinding sunlight made her squint, and after a moment, she looked around.

The fresh air was filled with the unique scent of grass and trees; the lush green grass and dense trees made everything seem so ordinary.

Diana shouted excitedly:

"Finally out!"

He touched and looked at everything, acting like he'd never seen the world before.

Gene watched helplessly from the side.

'You were so sad just a moment ago, and now you're so happy. You're still just a child!'

“I’ve already inquired and found out that the magic academy in the Kingdom of Serbia will be enrolling students in a month. Granddaughter, I’ll take you to the capital first to familiarize you with human life.”

Gene looked up at a tree and shouted.

The leaves on the tree rustled, and a petite white figure somersaulted a few times in the air before landing steadily with her hands raised high.

"Okay, Grandpa Gene~"

Seeing Diana so happy, Gene's reluctance to part with her dissipated.

Gene took Diana's hand and called out:

"Let's go! Heading to the royal capital!"

"Let's go~"

Diana raised a small hand and shouted as well.

Gene activated spatial magic, and a magic circle appeared beneath their feet. A flash of light, and they disappeared into the jungle.

On a high mountain near the capital, a spatial ripple occurred, and the figures of an old man and a young man slowly emerged.

Diana stared in shock at the magnificent and splendid capital city in the distance.

The capital city was roughly circular in shape, with a tall city wall surrounding it.

Inside the city walls was a cluster of buildings, with four straight roads leading to the center in four directions, and then another ring of city walls extending inwards.

The interior is still a complex of buildings, but these buildings are much more magnificent than those on the outer ring. There is also a city wall in the very center, with various tall palaces scattered throughout.

"Is this the Kingdom of Serbia?!"

Gene patted Diana's head and said:

"Auston Magic Academy is located right in the center of the capital. It's the only magic academy for humans, with a long history. Anyone who has awakened any magical skill or has an innate affinity for magic can enter and study there. So, have you decided?"

Diana nodded, looking in the direction of the capital.

"Yes! I've made up my mind!"

'There must be magic there that can change one's gender!' she thought with anticipation.

After some time, we descended the mountain and came to a wide, flat road, where horse-drawn carriages occasionally passed by.

The grandfather and grandson walked on the main road leading to the capital. From the mountaintop, it seemed not far, but once they came down the mountain, they couldn't see any trace of the capital at all. Fortunately, they weren't in a hurry.

Diana looked around curiously at everything. She found a flower she had never seen before, picked it, smelled it, and then casually put it in her mouth.

'Hmm~ It's a bit sour, not bad!'

Gene looked at Diana with a mix of amusement and exasperation, then went over and tapped her forehead.

"Granddaughter, you can't eat everything in the future. It wouldn't look good if someone saw you doing that."

When Diana came to her senses, she was a little confused herself. She felt that her words and actions were becoming more and more like those of a child.

'Could it be due to the influence of this body?'

Gene, seeing Diana's sudden silence, thought he had spoken too loudly.

"What's wrong, my dear granddaughter? Are you hungry? Grandpa has plenty of food here."

"I'm not hungry, Grandpa Gene. I'm thinking about something. I'll be careful."

As she spoke, Diana took Gene's hand and started walking forward.

For the next while, Diana stopped running around and listened to Gene talk about some important things to note about the capital.

Just then, the slow sound of horses' hooves came from behind.

Diana turned around and saw a caravan of carriages.

At the front and back were several soldiers wearing brown leather armor and long swords at their waists. In the middle were three luxurious carriages drawn by two white horses, with windows on both sides and a bright red lion emblem flag hanging on the top of the carriages.

Inside the carriage, a girl dressed in a black and white maid outfit leaned against the window, looking at the scenery outside. As the carriage swayed, the girl's chest swayed rhythmically. Suddenly, her eyes lit up and she shouted.

"Miss, Miss, look! There's a girl over there with such beautiful hair!"

Opposite the girl in the maid outfit was a girl dressed in gorgeous clothes and wearing a black cloak.

The girl's slightly curly, fiery red hair was very eye-catching, and her light brown eyes revealed a sense of nobility. She seemed indifferent to everything, and although she was petite, she did not appear weak or frail.

The red-haired girl turned her head and saw an old man leading a young girl along the roadside.

The first thing she noticed was his straight and smooth silver-white hair, which danced in the breeze and even shimmered in the sunlight.

The red-haired girl tucked the hair on one side of her face behind her ear.

"So-so, it's alright."

"Ugh...it's so beautiful!"

The maid's expression was one of disbelief.

The red-haired girl turned her head, her eyes still fixed on that silver-white figure.

At this moment, the owner of the silver-haired man turned his head and looked in this direction.

Her large, white eyes were vacant, even her long eyelashes were white, and her chubby cheeks were flushed with a rosy blush. 'Wow~~~ So cute, I really want to pinch her cheeks~'

"Miss, that child is so cute! I really want to hug her!"

"Miss, we seem to be going the same way. How about we give them a ride?"

The red-haired girl almost blurted out "Okay!"

“Emma, our trip to Austin College is more important.”

"Oh, maybe they're going to the academy too. What a pity."

Emma leaned out of the window and murmured as she looked at the figures growing smaller and smaller behind her.

Watching the carriage caravan depart, Diana said:

"I've never ridden a horse or sat in a carriage before! I really want to try!"

Gene laughed and said, "When we get to the capital, we'll buy one!"

Diana jumped up with joy.

"Yay~~~"

After walking for a while, Diana broke free from Gene's hand and ran to the side, where there was a clear stream.

Stepping into the cool stream, she felt a sense of joy. She flipped over a large rock in the water, and a dark shadow darted to the side in the slightly murky water. Diana reacted quickly and caught it.

Pulling it out of the water, she saw it was a large crab, one of its pincers still gripping her chubby finger. She resisted the urge to put it in her mouth.

Holding up the crab, he turned back and waved it at Gene in the distance, shouting:

"Grandpa Gene, come quick! There's a big crab!"

Gene shook his head, smiled, and walked in that direction.
