Wang Lei suddenly opened his eyes and found himself standing in the center of an altar, with a black magic circle beneath his feet emitting a faint black light.

"How could it possibly fail! Since it's a failure, let's destroy it!"

Wang Lei looked in the direction of the sound.

It was a burly man wearing purple armor, with a pair of black, curled horns on his head, purple eyes radiating a fierce light, and a thick, long purple tail behind him covered with purple scales.

He raised his palm towards Wang Lei, and a complex purple magic circle slowly appeared. The moment the magic circle was completed, a purple lightning dragon shot out from it and struck Wang Lei instantly.

With a loud bang, Wang Lei's body flew out like a cannonball, crashing into the wall behind him, sending rubble flying and dust billowing everywhere.

The burly man casually swung his hand again, and bolts of lightning spears shot into the smoke.

The crackling of electric arcs, the banging of exploding rocks, and the constant sounds of debris all around were deafening!

Wang Lei only heard the system notifications in his mind ringing incessantly, indicating that he had gained the skill of anti-flying resistance, and his lightning resistance had been rapidly upgraded!

A gentle female voice came, and then a barrier made of water appeared in front of Wang Lei.

Recanal's gruff voice rang out.

Her long, slightly wavy, deep blue hair cascaded down to her waist, a spiraling white horn adorned her forehead, and she possessed light blue pupils. Her hands were crossed and clasped beneath her chest, revealing a voluptuous figure that even the wide robe could not conceal. Behind her, a blue tail fin swayed gently.

Doris's red lips parted slightly:

"Recanar, don't forget that this little guy is a Demon King after all. You must know the power of the Evil Eye!"

Recanal remained silent, his expression slightly somber.

A defiant and disdainful voice came from another direction:

"Tch~ It's just a newly awakened demon king that hasn't even taken form yet. When I cut it into pieces, it couldn't even see the hem of my clothes!"

A handsome man dressed in gorgeous clothes sat in the air with his legs crossed, dangling there, with a wisp of wind slowly rotating beneath him.

The man had a pair of slender blue horns on his head, blue eyes, a mocking smile on his lips, and a long, thin blue tail hanging down from his body.

Doris continued:

"Franklin, are you sure you can cut that little guy into pieces? Even Recanar's advanced magic couldn't hurt it!"

Franklin looked at the smoke, and with a wave of his hand, a gust of wind blew it away.

Wang Lei crawled out of the rubble, completely unharmed except for a few charred spots, and one of his eyes was filled with black light.

Jilong's expression changed, and lightning erupted from Recanar's entire body, causing rocks to fly all around.

A fierce wind swept around Franklin, blurring his figure.

Barriers made of water appeared in front of Dorisia.

The atmosphere was tense, and a battle was about to break out!

That's enough!

An old and majestic voice resounded in everyone's minds, and the group was shaken back several steps by an invisible wave!

Immediately afterwards, an old man dressed in a white robe appeared out of thin air among them.

Upon recognizing the newcomers, the dragons' imposing aura vanished instantly, and they all bowed their heads respectfully.

Even the unruly Franklin became obedient.

Wang Lei swore it wasn't trying to be cute on purpose; it just wanted to lower the other person's guard!

"The monsters in the Abyss Maze cannot leave. Only after reaching level 40 and transforming into human form can they break free from the maze's rules."
