One of Wang Lei's eyes on his forehead had lost its luster and turned completely white, clearly indicating that it had become useless.

I touched the eye on my forehead. It didn't hurt, and although my field of vision was narrower, it was still much larger than that of a human.

Wang Lei adjusted to the change in his eyes before taking in his surroundings.

This is a platform with a bright red rock wall on one side and the lava that Wang Lei fell into on the other side. There is a fairly wide road at each end, extending into the distance.

As they walked along a road, several large catfish occasionally surfaced and spat out fireballs at Wang Lei.

He completely ignored it; being immune to fire, it only suffered a few points of impact damage.

There's no way to avoid the lack of ranged attack methods; you can't just use Evil Eye on every big catfish. No matter how many eyes Wang Lei has, he can't just go around like that!

On this day, Wang Lei encountered a magical beast of another race on a platform.

This is a monster with a fish head and a human body, covered in red fish scales. It has human hands and feet, and it stands on its two feet, holding a bone trident, walking back and forth.

Its name was discovered to be Mermaid!

Wang Lei's worldview is almost completely shattered!

Wang Lei immediately used a spider silk spell to entangle it, restricting its movement, and then swung its forelimbs.

With a single, fluid stroke, he severed the fish's head, looking down at its lifeless, dull eyes.

Wang Lei turned and left, completely devoid of appetite.

When Wang Lei encountered the mermaids later, he would unleash a combo attack without explanation and never look back!

What shocked Wang Lei even more was yet to come; the monsters he encountered became increasingly bizarre.

The giant shrimp, with human limbs and wielding bone weapons, was incredibly fast. Its antennae lashed out like whips, leaving deep furrows in the ground.

Wang Lei spread out and shot out spider silk to entangle the shrimp, then chopped off its head!

Later, they encountered a crab with human limbs and weapons. It was very strong and could blow bubbles to create illusions!

Wang Lei, who was immune to mind control, ended up only getting spat on!

'Good heavens, even the shrimp soldiers and crab generals have come out! Is there a turtle prime minister behind you too?'

Sure enough, a humanoid turtle wielding two hammers appeared next, leaving Wang Lei speechless.

After exchanging a few blows, Wang Lei discovered that its shell was incredibly hard; his attacks could only leave a few marks on it and couldn't break through its defenses at all.

Looking at the exposed limbs and head, a smirk appeared on his lips.

Seemingly sensing Wang Lei's cold gaze, it retracted its limbs and head into its shell!

Wang Lei went to the tortoise shell and turned it over, then remained speechless!

He stabbed relentlessly at the hole exposed at the head's position, and the Turtle Prime Minister died.

"You think this is a novel?! Hiding in your shell is absolute defense?! How naive! You haven't had enough of the harsh realities of life!!!"

The departed Turtle Prime Minister could only silently say one thing: "Young man, you lack martial virtue!"

These past few days, Wang Lei has been traveling and killing any monsters he encounters, and his level has improved smoothly. Sure enough, his blind eye has been restored!

Using his exploration skills, Wang Lei finally arrived at the center of this winding lava world.

This is a very spacious open space.

"A spider that has developed intelligence?! I advise you to give up that idea if you want to pass through here! You lowly insect!"

Wang Lei was taken aback, suppressed his emotions, and tried to say it in his mind.

Do you know if there's a path leading to the outside world down there? How can we get out?

"Hmph! You lowly insect, you are not qualified to go to the lower levels, and you even think you can get out of here? Don't dream about it!"

Kagunas replied dismissively.

Wang Lei, unable to bear it any longer, shouted:

"Insects, insects, don't I have a name?! Please call me Lord Spider King!"

Then, a black light gathered in one of the eyes on his forehead.

Kagunas's pupils contracted, a black light flashed, and a bottomless black hole appeared on the ground in front of it.

Kagunas trembled and quickly rose to his feet, prostrating himself respectfully as he said:

"Your Majesty, I did not recognize you earlier. Please forgive my rudeness."

Wang Lei was very puzzled.

How did you know I was the Demon King?

"Your Majesty is joking. Only the Demon Kings of each generation can possess the Evil Eye! It is abyssal magic, the strongest magic on the entire continent."

Kagunas thought to himself.

'Doesn't this evil eye strain your eyes? Using it so easily! Are your eyes really that capricious?!'

Wang Lei suddenly realized and continued:

"Now I'm qualified to go to the lower levels?"

"Of course! You are absolutely qualified! Please allow me to once again offer my sincere apologies for my earlier offense!"

As he spoke, Kagunas lowered his head deeply once again.

Wang Lei was speechless for a moment, then asked:

"Alright, alright, I forgive you. How can we get out of here and reach the outside world?"

Kagunas, not daring to look up, said:

"This little man really doesn't know; he only knows that all the Demon Kings went to the lower levels before leaving!"

"I see!" Wang Lei was overjoyed, finally seeing hope of getting out!

Kagunas stepped aside, revealing a staircase leading underground behind him.

Wang Lei walked towards the cave entrance. When he arrived at the entrance, he looked down at the endless staircase and felt a chill run down his spine!

Then Kagunas's voice echoed in my mind again:

"By the way! Lord Demon King, once you're down there, all you need to do is unleash your Demon King aura, and those lords will surely tell you how to get out!"

Wang Lei was speechless.

Why didn't you tell me something so important earlier?!

Having made up his mind, Wang Lei walked down the steps.

Kagunas watched Wang Lei disappear at the entrance, puzzled.

'Normally, it wouldn't be a fierce battle with me, where I use all my skills but am ultimately defeated.'

'Then it reveals its identity as the Demon King, and finally I respectfully send it off? It feels like something's missing?'

A row of question marks appeared on Kagunas's large head.

Wang Lei slowly walked up the steps leading down, where only darkness seemed to devour everything.

Looking back at the entrance, all that remained was a deep red dot of light.

I had a feeling that this was a path to the abyss, and I swallowed hard.
