Rebirth of a Farmer's Dad

Luo Feng did not answer their questions. As always, he'd let time tell. That was perhaps the most effective approach, at least that's what Luo Feng believed.

Seeing that Luo Feng had no intention of responding, the three of them gradually lost the will to ask further. They simply found a place to lie down and began drinking and chatting.

Luo Feng glanced at the sky and realized it was getting late; the sun was about to set. He called his daughter, who was playing nearby, over, and said goodbye to the others. Then, Luo Feng began packing his things to go home.

In the end, the group returned home satisfied, and the picnic could be considered a success; at least Luo Feng's goal was achieved.

It was quite late when they got home. Having just had a large meal, no one was in the mood for dinner and immediately went to find a place to sleep. To be honest, they had drunk quite a bit that day, and their heads were still spinning. If they didn't get some sleep soon, they really wouldn't be able to hold on any longer.

Luo Feng was also tired, whether from the many worries of the past few days or from preparing for the picnic today. Perhaps it was both!

Nothing happened that night, and the next morning, Luo Feng got up at the first crow of the rooster.

It has to be said that this is a good habit he has retained after exercising for so long.

But this wasn't good news for the other three. Luo Feng hadn't forgotten they still had training, so the first thing he did after getting up was to lift them all out of bed.

These three people have such bizarre sleeping positions that they can't help but laugh.

Biaozi was seen hugging Afu's leg and rubbing his face against it, seemingly unconcerned about getting athlete's foot.

Baosheng likes to cover his head with a blanket when he sleeps. I don't know how he manages to do that. Doesn't he worry about getting heat rash in this hot weather?

"Get up, get up, the sun's already high in the sky!" Luo Feng felt like a landlord in the old society, urging his farmhands to get up and do chores.

When he called out, the three people on the bed didn't react at all, which made Luo Feng quite angry.

"Get up! Fire! Run for your lives!" Luo Feng simply found a large iron basin and started banging on it while saying this.

"What's all the noise about? Can't a person get any sleep?" These were the words of Biaozi, who clearly has a bad temper when he wakes up.

"Fire! Fire! Get up and run for your lives!" Luo Feng continued shouting, his hands never stopping, constantly making noise.

"Brother Feng, I beg you, just let me die on this bed." The old man poked his head out from under the covers and said something nonsensical, then pulled the covers over his head again, not caring what anyone else did.

"Hey, I can handle you guys now." Luo Feng got excited. He turned around and went into the yard, then rushed back into the house a moment later, pretending to shake Biaozi anxiously.

"Biaozi, Biaozi, get up! Are you some kind of troublemaker? There's a girl at the door saying she's looking for you."

"What?" Biaozi was clearly still in a daze and had no idea what had happened.

"I said there was a girl looking for you at the door, did you mess with her?" Luo Feng said seriously.

"Really? You're not kidding me, are you?"

"They're standing right outside the yard right now, what are you doing?" Luo Feng continued to bluff.

Upon hearing this, Biao Biao, believing it to be true, immediately jumped to his feet. Meanwhile, Bao Sheng and A Fu, who were beside him, had long been unable to sit still.

It seems that sometimes, men are just as gossipy as women, especially when it comes to gossip about women.

Judging from their astonishing speed of waking up, Luo Feng could tell that these three were just as gossipy as the lecherous men of later generations. Could it be that the saying, "It's easier to change mountains and rivers than to change one's nature," truly applies to men?

Before Luo Feng could finish his reflection, the three of them were dressed and rushed out of the room. To Luo Feng's amusement, they weren't wearing the dirty clothes they had worn yesterday, but had changed into something else.

Needless to say, you have to dress presentably when meeting a girl. But this isn't a blind date, so I really don't know what these three guys are up to.

Ignoring the three lust-driven guys, Luo Feng sat on the edge of the bed, grinning foolishly. He wondered what kind of expressions the three brothers would have when they realized they'd been tricked.

"Brother Feng, you're lying to me. They're not here to see me at all. They're here to see you. Hurry up and go see them." Luo Feng looked in the direction of the voice and saw Biaozi's angry face appear before him.

"Alright, stop teasing me. There's no girl at all. I'm just joking with you guys." After saying that, Luo Feng couldn't help but laugh.

"Brother Feng, are you alright? There really is a girl outside who said she came to see you. She said her name is Wu Muxiu." Biaozi said to Luo Feng with a gossipy look on his face.

"What? Wu Muxiu, where is she?" Luo Feng was startled and thought to himself, why is this girl here again?

"Haha, Brother Feng, could this be our future sister-in-law? Look how excited you are." Luo Feng's reaction naturally did not escape Biao Biao's eyes, and the gossip on her face became even more intense.

"Alright, alright, stop making fun of me."

Luo Feng waved impatiently at Biaozi, then walked towards the courtyard gate.

No matter what, the girl has come all this way, so we should at least treat her well, right?

As soon as he stepped out of the main room, he looked up and saw Wu Muxiu standing outside the door with the basket. A young woman like her, she looked extremely embarrassed, her face flushed red. She probably wished she could disappear into the ground.

Meanwhile, Afu and Baosheng were practically glued to the girl, their eyes practically popping out of their sockets.

"What are you two doing? Two grown men fawning over a girl, aren't you afraid of being seen as hooligans? Do you both want to end up in the police station?" Luo Feng walked up to them and slapped one of them hard on the back of the head.

"Brother Feng has good taste, you've found such a beautiful girl." Afu said with a grin.

"What are you saying? Don't talk nonsense. Can't you see the girl is still here?" Luo Feng scolded her, somewhat displeased.

"You're a grown adult, don't you know how to be mindful of your words? Don't you know what you should and shouldn't say?"

“Exactly, you’re so clueless. Brother Feng, we’ll go drag Brother Biao out right now. Don’t worry, we definitely won’t interfere with your business.” Baosheng said obsequiously, then turned around to go find Biaozi.

"Get the hell out of my sight, you three. I don't want to see you anymore." Luo Feng didn't know what to say to these three idiots. He could only send them as far away as possible to avoid seeing them.

"Understood, we'll disappear right away and promise not to bother you." After saying that, Baosheng pulled Afu out. There was no need to look for Biaozi anymore; that kid was too clever and must have already slipped away.

"Who are they? I didn't see them when I came last time." Bo Musu asked timidly after the people had walked away.

“They’re my buddies. Don’t let their seemingly rough exterior fool you; they’re actually good people. I’ll explain this to you slowly. Let’s go inside; it’s awfully hot outside.” With that, Luo Feng invited Wu Muxiu into the house.
