It might be a coincidence, but just yesterday Luo Feng was thinking of chatting with his second brother about his family situation and finding out what they did for a living.

But to my surprise, someone came to my door early the next morning.

The man was in his forties, wearing gold-rimmed glasses and a well-tailored suit, giving him an air of importance. He had his hair slicked back, a serious expression on his square face, and wore shiny black leather shoes. He also carried a briefcase.

Upon seeing the newcomer, Luo Feng knew that this guy must be a staff member of the county government.

There's no other reason than that these days, anyone dressed like that is either a government official or a big business owner.

The newcomer exuded an air of authority without being angry, and his polite demeanor convinced Luo Feng that he was a government employee. Moreover, he possessed an inner and outer charisma that could only be cultivated by someone who had been in a high position for a long time; perhaps his official rank was quite high.

Thinking about this, Guofeng felt that he definitely couldn't afford to offend the person in front of him.

So he immediately stopped the bamboo pole that was about to go and greet the guest, and went to greet the guest himself.

I originally thought the person came to eat here, or to deliver some kind of notice from above.

But to Luo Feng's surprise, the first thing the visitor said was, "Is Li Jun here? I'd like to talk to him."

"Li Jun?" Luo Feng didn't react for a moment.

“Yes, I am his father,” the other person said.

"You mean the second son?" Guofeng asked, as if suddenly realizing something.

"That's him, 'Second Brother' is his nickname."

"He's not here right now, he won't be here until noon. Please come in and have a seat," Luo Feng said, gesturing for him to come in.

Without any formalities, the other party strode into the store and chose a quiet corner to sit down.

Luo Feng quickly grabbed some steamed buns, mantou, shumai, and snacks, and brought over a large bowl of porridge.

"You've arrived so early, you haven't eaten yet, have you? Why don't you just grab something to eat?" Luo Feng said, placing the food on the table.

"Are you the owner of this shop?" The other person asked Luo Feng without touching his chopsticks.

“Yes, this is my shop,” Luo Feng replied.

"How's my son doing here?" the man asked, adjusting his glasses.

"It went very well, nothing went wrong, you really helped me a lot," Luo Feng said with a smile.

"Let him go back," the other person said.

"Why?" Luo Feng asked, puzzled.

“I know this kid too well. He only has a three-minute attention span for anything. He won’t stay here for long,” the visitor said with certainty.

"Uncle, please listen to me. My second brother and I are brothers, so I'll take the liberty of calling you uncle." Guofeng paused here, and seeing that the other party didn't react, he continued.

“I think the second child is quite good, but he lacks someone to discipline him. Actually, he's not completely ignorant of reason; he'll understand if you talk to him nicely.”

"Don't I know my son? He's completely useless." The other person's tone was somewhat helpless, but they still spoke with great certainty.

"Hey, Uncle, you and he are father and son, and I am his brother. It's much easier for us to talk when we're of the same generation," Luo Feng said, offering his advice.

"Why is he staying here instead of going home?" the other person asked.

"What do you want him to do at home?" Luo Feng asked instead of answering.

The other person was speechless for a moment and couldn't say anything.

"Uncle, what do you think? My second son was doing just fine here. It wouldn't make sense to fire him for no reason. My business would probably be in trouble. How about letting him work here for now, and he'll go back on his own when he gets impatient?" Luo Feng said sincerely.

"Well, that's all we can do," the other person sighed.

"Since you seem to be a sensible person, teach him more in the future and guide him onto the right path," the visitor said to Luo Feng after a while.

"Yes, I will. Don't worry about the book." Luo Feng readily agreed.

Then, Luo Feng saw that the other person's tightly furrowed brows finally relaxed a bit, which should be considered a temporary relief for him.

Perhaps because the question in his heart finally had an answer, the man buried his head in his food and began to eat. From his eating habits, Luo Feng could tell that he really hadn't eaten breakfast.

After the guests finished eating, they told Luo Feng to pay the bill. Originally, out of respect for his second brother, Luo Feng didn't intend to accept the money, but the other party refused to agree and insisted on paying anyway.

Luo Feng knew that this was probably some unwritten rule in officialdom.

However, he didn't say much about it. After all, he wasn't at that level yet and wasn't qualified to speak. Forcing it would only bring him trouble, not any benefit.

However, he was quite surprised, never expecting that his second son was also the son of a high-ranking official!

Although he hadn't figured out the visitor's exact identity, Luo Feng was certain from their conversation and his demeanor that he must be a high-ranking official in the county government.

It was as if the heavens were helping Feng confirm this idea. Not long after the other party left, an old diner mysteriously approached Luo Feng.

"Hey, Feng, you're doing pretty well. Even the county magistrate came to see you," the old diner said to Luo Feng, looking outside.

"What? You mean that person just now, he... he's the county magistrate?" This not only surprised Luo Feng, but also the other diners present.

Some people choked on their porridge, some choked on their water, and some even choked on their own cigarettes.

The small restaurant was suddenly filled with coughing.

Good heavens, the second son's father is actually the county magistrate. So, I've been hanging around with the county magistrate's son for so long without ever finding out.

How foolish I was! It seems that God has been kind to me, sending such a second-generation palace maid to my side.

It seems I need to make more time to get in touch with the county magistrate; having his connections will save me a lot of trouble later.

It's not that Luo Feng is opportunistic; it's just that in business, you have to learn to take advantage of opportunities. If you can't seize an opportunity, what kind of business are you in?

You should know that if you miss an opportunity and someone else does, you'll lose more than just a few business deals; you might even lose your future.

However, we can't rush this matter. We should wait for the second son to come back and then ask him properly when we have time.

After all, the county magistrate had asked him to teach him properly and guide him onto the right path before he left, no.

And so, Luo Feng made up his mind. For his own future, for his daughter, and for his brothers, he decided to have a serious talk with the second brother.

Perhaps, this could not only reform the second son but also create new business opportunities for him.

However, it's important to strike the right balance and use the right methods. If you anger the second-year high school students and cause the opposite effect, things could get really bad.
