"Worrying?" Yu Yuetong turned her head, a mocking smile curving her lips. "Miss Ji, you should worry about your personal life, shouldn't you? After all, everyone knows—" She paused deliberately, looking at Qin Yu with a provocative glint in her eyes, "Wanting to pursue President Qin is no easy task."

Ji Momo paused for a moment, then her smile grew even brighter, showing an air of complete indifference: "Does Miss Yu think that relying on President Qin's halo will make her superior? That's not very wise." Her tone was exactly like that of a sly fox, full of contempt for Yu Yuetong's provocation.

“Being superior to others…isn’t that part of confidence and hard work?” Yu Yuetong put one hand on her hip and hugged her still slightly toned figure with the other. Although she appeared tall and slender, she looked like an angry little girl.

Although Qin Reng didn't want to get involved in their conflict, he couldn't suppress his admiration for Yue Tong, and felt an increasing resonance between the woman before him and his gradually softening heart. He smiled slightly, casually rolled down the passenger window, and accelerated, as if trying to dispel the unnecessary tension with a single press of the accelerator.

“I don’t want to hear your petty squabbles,” Qin Reng said sternly. “In my opinion, you’re both wasting your time.” His voice was deep and devoid of any emotion, yet it unexpectedly put immense pressure on the two female protagonists present.

“Look, even President Qin said you two are wasting your time,” Ji Momo retorted, a sly glint in her eyes as she smiled. “How about I put on a show for you two, to express my true feelings?”

"It's good that you have this interest. Why don't you recite a love poem for me too!" Yu Yuetong said sarcastically, holding her chin and pretending to be very interested. She secretly enjoyed this kind of scene.

Ji Momo's smile grew increasingly distorted and bright, as if she were desperately trying to salvage her last shred of dignity. "Miss Yu, why don't you write a love poem for President Qin right now? Maybe it will move him to come to you."

The argument between the two seemed far from over when the sound of footsteps in the distance shattered the delicate balance. Just then, a seemingly mysterious young man walked in, exuding a peculiar aura. He smiled slightly, politely nodding to everyone, displaying a maturity tempered with youthful frankness. "President Qin, something's happened outside..."

"Who let you in?" Ji Momo was quite disdainful of the intruder, but her practiced skills brought her back to her senses.

"Because I have something important to say." The boy's voice was soft, but firm. "We just received news that an old man suddenly appeared at the family meeting, seemingly intending to interfere with the Qin family's decisions!"

"Old man?" Yu Yuetong was taken aback, her heart skipped a beat. She thought to herself, could it be Old Master Qin Shi? It wouldn't make sense if he was unhappy, since he had just said that Qin Reng would inherit the right. She pondered to herself, quickly trying to figure out the old man's intentions.

“I think he might be trying to switch the inheritance rights,” the boy replied, his words like a sharp weapon piercing Qin Reng’s heart. “The old man has always been cunning, and I think we have to be careful.”

“Yes.” Qin Reng’s face instantly darkened. “I can’t let anyone disrupt my plans. You come with me!” He looked at Yu Yuetong, his expression extremely murderous. “You come with me too.”

"Why should I follow you?" Yu Yuetong raised an eyebrow, feeling a surge of annoyance. "I'd rather go find something for myself to do."

“Because you are inside my body, and I am inside yours.” He responded with an extremely helpless tone, looking at her with a firm gaze, as if to tell her that this was an order that could not be refused.

"I heard the old man has a new plan he wants to pursue, and I'm really looking forward to it." Yu Yuetong's lips curled up slightly, showing courage and confidence.

Qin Reng glanced at her, his eyes filled with disdain yet hesitant to speak, but at that moment, he felt an inexplicable warmth in his heart. Just then, the boy interrupted their standoff: "Hurry up, we have to go!"

"Let's go, that's all." Yu Yuetong twisted her head slightly.

Qin Reng's lips were tightly pursed. He slightly raised his head and caught Yu Yuetong's ambiguous smile in the rearview mirror. She raised an eyebrow and said with a hint of provocation, "President Qin, it seems your family soap opera has started again. Speaking of which, shouldn't a classic character like the old man have retired long ago? Or is it that he's reluctant to give up his niche?"

Qin Reng's expression remained as cold and stern as ever, while Yu Yuetong beside him lightly tapped the car door with a single finger, looking as relaxed as if she were watching a free play. The young man next to him, however, was stunned, his admiration and complex emotions turning into a series of speechless gasps. "This woman, she really isn't afraid of death," Qin Reng thought to himself, but couldn't suppress a slight smile playing on his lips.

"Shut up." His voice was deep, but his tone carried an undeniable authority. "If you still want to complete this agreement with me, stop talking nonsense."

"Oh?" Yu Yuetong narrowed her eyes, like a cat that had just stolen some fish. "Don't be so cold, President Qin. Maybe I can help you 'turn the tide' later. You know my abilities are maxed out."

"It seems like all you're good at right now is causing me trouble." Qin Reng snorted coldly, but subconsciously let go of his hands on the steering wheel, as if he didn't want to continue arguing.

……

When the car arrived at the entrance of the Qin family's old mansion, Yu Yuetong got out of the car and pretended to be amazed when she saw the two stone lions: "Wow—the mansion is indeed magnificent. These stone lions must be expensive, right? But I heard that these kinds of lions are placed at the entrance to ward off evil spirits. Speaking of which, why haven't I felt any effect lately?" She curled up a sly smile and gave Qin Reng a meaningful glance.

Qin Reng ignored her and was about to take a step when he heard the hurried voice of the Qin family's butler: "Young Master, the situation is urgent. The old master is furious in the study."

"Get angry?" Qin Reng narrowed his eyes, his cold gaze sweeping into the depths of the old house. He paused for two seconds, then turned to look at Yu Yuetong, who was still biting her nails and lost in thought. "Stay close, don't cause trouble."

Yu Yuetong put on an indifferent expression, but her mind couldn't help but wander. Logically, as a transmigrated woman, she should stay away from all melodramatic plots, yet she was now forced into becoming a standing-room-only spectator in a power struggle within a wealthy family. This feeling of being forced into the drama… well, it was suffocating, but also—exciting.

She couldn't help but smile and whisper, "It's good that you're angry; the more intense, the more exciting."

Qin Reng glanced at her and snorted coldly, "Are you brainless? If things get out of control, don't blame me for not being able to handle the consequences."
