"Of course." Qin Reng suddenly walked closer to her, took her hand, and lowered his head slightly, his gaze firm yet gentle. "As long as we work together, there is no problem that cannot be solved."

They looked into each other's eyes, their heartbeats merging in the quiet air. Yu Yuetong felt the warmth of his hand, as if it could warm her cold heart and quietly dispel her anxiety. But reason told her that things were not so simple; the secret and the barrier between them remained hanging in the air.

"I'm terrified, terrified that all of this is brewing a crisis right around me." Yu Yuetong naturally revealed her true feelings, as if confirming her own vulnerability.

"I was also afraid, but we fought for each other." Qin Reng's voice was sincere and firm, as if enveloping the two of them in a protective shield, from which the surrounding shadows could no longer approach.

Just then, a knock on the door broke the intimacy between them, startling both Yu Yuetong and Qin Reng.

"Should we continue talking?" A hint of displeasure flashed across Qin Reng's face, and his lingering worry resurfaced.

"It should be someone from the family." Upon hearing this, Yu Yuetong followed him slowly toward the door, but she was still secretly uneasy. She couldn't tell whether what she was seeing was a mystery or a trap.

"Are you ready?" Qin Reng asked her in a low voice, as if he were making a decision. However, when her hand grasped the door, a surge of nervousness welled up inside her, even making her heart skip a beat: "I'm not quite sure..."

The door opened, and light flooded in, as if exposing their secret. But what appeared was that familiar yet repulsive face—Ji Momo's.

"Oh, how interesting." Ji Momo smiled, her gaze darting between them like a cunning fox, making Yu Yuetong's heart sink instantly.

"What brings you here?" Qin Reng asked coldly, as if the warmth between them had been instantly replaced by his icy smile.

"I'm just here to see what's going on in your lives." Ji Momo's laughter was light and cheerful, as if she had unintentionally revealed a hidden edge. "You guys are really something to look forward to."

"Oh, how interesting." Ji Momo's laughter was like a light wind chime, but to Yu Yuetong it sounded like a piercing alarm. That arrogant smile made her heart tremble, as if this little fox was about to pull some trick again.

"What brings you here?" Qin Reng's voice suddenly turned cold, like a chilling wind on an icy plain, making Yu Yuetong's heart clench. She could feel the wariness in his gaze, like a hidden prey ready to retaliate at any moment.

Ji Momo raised her chin slightly, her gaze shifting between the two of them, her smile undiminished: "I just want to watch your show, to see how you continue to play tricks in this morally blackmailing marriage." The veiled meaning in her words made Yu Yuetong even more uneasy. Had she already discovered their secret?

"Delusion!" Qin Reng narrowed his eyes, approaching step by step, as if trying to scare Ji Momo away. That powerful aura made Yu Yuetong involuntarily follow him step by step, her inner emotions surging indescribable.

“Isn’t your reaction exactly what I wanted?” Ji Momo didn’t back down, her gaze becoming increasingly cunning. She stepped in, as if to merge the two worlds together: “Like the old grudges of the martial arts world, I’m here to take control of everything.”

"If you keep causing trouble, I won't be so polite." Qin Reng's tone revealed a suppressed anger, but at the same time, Yu Yuetong felt an undeniable warmth emanating from him. Her heart trembled; if it weren't for the tension in their conversation, she might have truly been captivated by this small act of protection.

"Hmph, who's afraid of who?" Ji Momo narrowed her eyes, a disdainful smile still playing on her lips. "What trump cards do you have? I'd rather reveal the truth to you all." She raised her hand, slightly fiddling with the ring on her finger, as if hinting at something.

“Listen, Ji Momo.” Yu Yuetong tried to make her voice sound firm, her rational side telling her that she couldn’t continue to be passive: “If you think you can win like this, then I can only say that you are too naive.”

Ji Momo's smile remained radiant: "Innocence is a virtue, especially in these complex games." The awkward atmosphere suddenly froze, as if a tense, explosive atmosphere was spreading through the air.

"I'm really looking forward to the sparks between you two." Ji Momo observed out of the corner of her eye, and Yu Yuetong suddenly realized that she was like an animal being watched. She felt a mix of emotions and couldn't say a word in rebuttal.

"Get lost." Qin Reng spoke, his tone undoubtedly carrying a hint of coldness, like a sharp sword descending from the sky, piercing straight into the other party's heart.

"Oh dear, really." Ji Momo raised an eyebrow, but a meaningful smile appeared on her lips. "Alright, I'll take my leave for now. But don't forget, I can be observing your every move from the shadows."

Yu Yuetong steadied herself, unable to suppress the urge to grit her teeth, as if anger were burning her tongue. As Ji Momo gracefully turned and walked away with a triumphant air, their world instantly fell into the same deathly silence as before.

"She's really annoying." Yu Yuetong looked up and asked Qin Reng, unsure how to break free from this oppressive feeling.

"What are you afraid she did?" Qin Reng looked at her quietly, his eyes revealing his concern.

Yu Yuetong was stunned for a moment, then shook her head: "I just feel... she seems to be here to cause trouble, I wonder what will happen next... didn't she say we would mess things up?" Her helplessness made her almost unable to look directly at her.

"What she is like is unimportant." Qin Reng didn't care at all; he appeared incredibly resolute in front of Yu Yuetong. Subconsciously, he took her hand, gently tightening his grip to give her strength.

However, Ji Momo's image still lingered in her heart, draining her courage to fight.

"Are you lacking confidence?" Qin Reng noticed her hesitation and frowned slightly. Clearly, this expression was a signal that was making him uneasy.

"I...we'll be alright, won't we?" she asked softly, her tone lacking confidence.

"Of course." Qin Reng gritted his teeth, his voice rising slightly. He began to tell the whole story, his thin lips brushing over the words with a hidden tenderness, as if he had been waiting for this promise all along.

Just then, the sound of the door opening slightly broke the silence between them. Yu Yuetong's heart skipped a beat; was even bigger trouble on its way?

The door swung open, and a familiar figure came into view. "We have something to discuss," Qin Yu said with a sinister expression, even though this was the moment he most wanted to see him.

It was him! Yu Yuetong's eyes showed a hint of panic, and her vigilance instantly increased. Could all of this just be a coincidence?
