Yu Yuetong's brain went blank for a moment, and her body stiffened.

Qin Reng's hand was very gentle, brushing against her lips like a feather, yet it sent a tingling electric current through her body. She subconsciously closed her eyes, savoring the sudden caress.

After an unknown amount of time, Qin Reng slowly released her and said in a hoarse voice, "Yu Yuetong, don't misunderstand, you have sauce on your lips."

Yu Yuetong's mind was in complete chaos; she didn't know how to answer.

Qin Reng's actions confused her and made her begin to doubt whether she had misunderstood him.

"Oh..." Yu Yuetong opened her mouth, but didn't know what to say.

Qin Reng didn't press her, but just smiled gently: "It's okay, you eat, I'll go inside for a bit."

After saying that, he turned and left the restaurant, leaving Yu Yuetong sitting there alone, lost in thought.

Outside the window, night was deepening, and the city lights twinkled like glittering stars. Yu Yuetong looked at the scenery outside the window, feeling a little lost.

Just then, Yu Yuetong's phone rang. She picked it up and saw it was her best friend calling.

"Hey, Xiaotong, what are you doing?" Her best friend's voice sounded excited.

"Nothing much, just at home," Yu Yuetong said, turning on her voice changer and forcing herself to sound more energetic.

"At home? That's great! I have some good news to tell you!" Her best friend's voice was even more excited.

"What good news?" Yu Yuetong asked curiously.

"I...I'm pregnant!" my best friend exclaimed excitedly.

"What?!" Yu Yuetong's eyes widened in disbelief as she asked, "Are...are you sure?"

My best friend answered confidently, "Of course I'm sure! I went to the hospital for a checkup today, and it's been two months!"

"Congratulations!" Yu Yuetong forced a smile, but her heart was filled with mixed feelings.

"Congratulations! I didn't expect you to be so quiet about this, getting married so soon without even telling your brothers." A man's slightly teasing voice came from the other end of the phone.

"Ahem," Yu Yuetong cleared her throat, lowered her voice, and tried to imitate Qin Reng's usual indifferent tone, "It's a private matter, there's no need to make a big fuss about it."

The person on the other end of the phone was Qin Reng's college classmate and close friend, named Fang Kai. The call was to inform Qin Reng to attend his wedding. Yu Yuetong was holding Qin Reng's phone, listening to Fang Kai rambling on about the wedding arrangements, her heart churning with turmoil.

"Hey, come to think of it, you've really changed a lot since you got married. You used to be such a tight-lipped person, but now you can chat with me for so long. It's like the sun has risen in the west!" Fang Kai's tone was full of teasing.

Yu Yuetong's heart skipped a beat; she realized she'd almost given herself away. She quickly made up an excuse: "The company's been pretty quiet lately."

"Oh? Really? I heard that Qin's Group has a big project underway recently. As the president, you should be extremely busy, right?" Fang Kai clearly didn't believe her explanation.

Fine beads of sweat appeared on Yu Yuetong's forehead. She racked her brains for a solution, when suddenly an idea struck her: "The project matters have been handed over to the subordinates. I'm just keeping an eye on the general direction."

"Tsk tsk, looks like marriage really can change a person. You've actually learned to delegate now." Fang Kai's tone was slightly teasing. "By the way, is your wife coming to the wedding too?"

Yu Yuetong was stunned for a moment, and subconsciously wanted to refuse, but then she thought, if Qin Reng really went to congratulate his friend, how could he not bring his wife to his friend's wedding? That would be too illogical.

So she reluctantly agreed: "Yes, I'll take her with me."

After hanging up the phone, Yu Yuetong let out a long sigh of relief, feeling as if she had fought a tough battle.

She rubbed her slightly sore temples and began to think about how she could continue to play Qin Reng's role well at the wedding.

Over the next few days, Yu Yuetong began her "Qin Reng Imitation Show".

She carefully observed Qin Reng's words and actions, imitating his tone, expression, and even the way he walked.

On the wedding day, Yu Yuetong wore a sharp suit, her hair neatly combed, looking handsome and dashing, like a domineering CEO. If one didn't know the truth beforehand, probably no one would doubt that she wasn't Qin Reng himself.

At the wedding, Yu Yuetong, arm in arm with Qin Reng (herself), smiled and greeted the guests who came to offer their congratulations. She imitated Qin Reng's tone and said some polite words, and she handled it with ease.

However, just when she thought she could pass the test smoothly, a familiar voice suddenly rang in her ears: "Qin Reng, long time no see."

Yu Yuetong looked in the direction of the sound and saw a tall woman with exquisite makeup standing in front of her, with a meaningful smile on her face.

This woman was none other than Qin Reng's childhood sweetheart and former fiancée, Ji Momo.

Yu Yuetong inwardly cried out in alarm. Ji Momo and Qin Reng had grown up together since childhood, and Ji Momo knew Qin Reng far better than anyone else. If Ji Momo discovered her true identity, the consequences would be unimaginable.

"Long time no see," Yu Yuetong said, trying to remain calm and mimicking Qin Reng's tone.

Ji Momo's gaze swept over her, a hint of inquiry in her eyes: "You seem a little different today."

Yu Yuetong's heart suddenly raced, but she forced a calm smile and said, "Really? Maybe I've been working too hard lately."

Ji Momo didn't say anything, but gave her a meaningful look before turning and leaving.

Yu Yuetong watched Ji Momo's departing figure, her heart filled with unease.

She didn't know if Ji Momo had already figured out her identity, but she sensed a dangerous aura in Ji Momo's eyes.

Yu Yuetong felt her heart pounding like a drum, and cold sweat seeped out of her back.

Ji Momo's gaze was like an X-ray, as if she could see right through her.

She tried her best to maintain Qin Reng's usual indifferent expression, but inside she was panicking.

If this woman discovers that she is not the real Qin Reng, then all her efforts over the past few months will have been in vain!

As the wedding march played, the newlyweds slowly walked down the red carpet.

Yu Yuetong then realized that she was so nervous that she hadn't even noticed when the wedding started.

She secretly glanced at "herself" beside her. Qin Reng was wearing a champagne-colored dress today, and he actually looked surprisingly... pleasing to the eye?

Yu Yuetong quickly shook her head, trying to banish this terrible thought from her mind.

She's a straight woman, how could she possibly have inappropriate thoughts about her own body?
