When Zong Zhengqing returned to the mansion, Yan Ran was waiting anxiously in the living room.

Today she wore a dark blue cheongsam embroidered with orchids, her long black hair was tied up, and she wore a jade hairpin. She looked elegant and charming, but her face was full of anxiety and sorrow.

"Let go." Kidnapper A was surprised to see Kidnapper B holding a gun to Tangtang's head, her face contorted in struggle, the safety already off. He quickly grabbed the gun and shouted.

Kidnapper B's face was ferocious. He saw his brother, who had just taken his medication and fallen asleep, and then looked at the gun in Kidnapper A's hand, about to reach out and take it.

Kidnapper A simply said indifferently, "What about what Mr. Dai asked us to do?"

"But Zong Zhengqing doesn't care at all..."

Kidnapper B nodded blankly and went to pack his things.

"Hurry up, Madam Zong must have called the police. If you don't want to get arrested and implicate Mr. Dai, you'd better hurry up." After scolding him, kidnapper A turned and left, leaving kidnapper B with a pale face and a quick flash of dissatisfaction in his eyes.

Sheng Xuanhao was driving, following the route map obtained by his subordinates from tracking the kidnappers. Zong Zhengqing was also in the unidentified black sedan, but he was far behind, showing no intention of getting closer.

Soon, the two kidnappers packed their belongings and got into the SUV to move to a new location.

Because of his injuries, kidnapper C was not fully conscious and was put into the car while unconscious.

As Tangtang was being carried, she suddenly opened her eyes groggily and let out a small sigh.

With a blank expression, kidnapper B took a towel soaked in anesthetic and pressed it to her mouth, leaving only a faint sound of the girl's sobs before Tangtang passed out again.

"Increase the dosage," kidnapper A said without even lifting an eyelid.

Kidnapper B drew a vial of liquid and injected it into the inside of Tangtang's forearm. There were already two needle marks there. When the needle was pulled out, diluted pink blood slowly flowed down.

Zong Zhengqing glanced at it from a distance, then turned and left.

Although Sheng Xuanhao noticed the group of people, he didn't care much. He was after the account book, and when he saw the kidnappers moving, he followed them.

Unexpectedly, the police arrived halfway there.

His first thought was of the woman who had been here before; she must have left behind something like a signal transmitter.

The entire vehicle, traveling at high speed, flew sideways due to inertia, making a piercing sound.

The kidnapper frantically turned the steering wheel, hoping to stabilize the situation.

Then a gunshot rang out.

Sheng Xuanhao caught up and fired a shot through the broken back window. The kidnapper C was shot in the head without realizing it, and it was fatal.

"No!" Kidnapper B didn't care about the car at all, and screamed while pulling at his hair.

Kidnapper A could only push him away, grab the steering wheel himself, and watch helplessly as he raised his gun to shoot Tangtang in the head. Just as he was about to stop him, the phone rang.

“Mr. Dai! Mr. Dai’s phone call!” he roared.

Kidnapper B looked at him with red eyes.

He finally took out his phone and pressed the call button.
