Chapter 299 Family Gathering
Chapter 299 Family Gathering
Clear seawater laps against the rocks on the shore, boats sail on the sea, creating ripples, and a luxurious manor stands amidst the dense forest.
How could a resort island be without a luxurious swimming pool? In addition, both Norris and Bian Xiao, father and daughter, love swimming, and the design of the swimming pools in all their estates is very strict.
There are four swimming pools on the island: two indoor pools, one outdoor pool, and one rooftop infinity pool.
A gentle breeze rustled the leaves as a man swam in the outdoor waterfall-style pool.
The male servant walked over and said a few words. The butler nodded and then walked to the poolside. "Madam, Miss Della, and Young Master Phil have arrived at the airport and are about to board the ship," he reminded Norris in the pool.
The man stood up, water droplets sliding down the grooves between his muscles. Although he was over fifty, Norris still insisted on exercising to maintain his physique.
As soon as they stepped onto the pool, the male servant draped a bathrobe over Norris's shoulders from behind. Norris bent down and casually tied the robe in a loose knot.
Norris finally welcomed his beloved wife and daughter. Nothing seemed interesting to him; he missed his wife and daughter.
Norris went into the bathroom, quickly washed up, put on a casual light brown polo shirt, and sat on the sofa in the living room.
"Are the gifts all ready?" Norrexis glanced at his watch. "How much longer?"
The butler, standing behind, replied, "Everything is ready, it should be done soon..."
"Daddy~" Before she could be seen, her voice came from the doorway. The moment her daughter's melodious voice came from the doorway, Norris's cold face melted like ice and snow and a smile appeared.
Then came the sight of his little princess bouncing around, dressed in a pink dress, looking as cute as a little angel, and nestling in his arms like a cloud.
Of course, it was a thick cloud.
Norris carried his daughter around once, rubbing her little face. "My little darling, welcome home." Just as he put her down, Bian Yin and Bian He walked into the living room.
Bian Xiao, ever the mischievous one, let go of his father's arm and stood next to his brother, secretly laughing as he watched his parents hug. "Absence makes the heart grow fonder~ Look how inseparable Mommy and Daddy are~"
“We two seem a bit redundant.” Bian He pulled his sister to sit on the sofa.
“Della, Phil, I’ve prepared gifts for you on the table. I’m going to chat with your mom for a bit.” Norris winked at her children.
Bian Xiao chuckled and gave an OK sign, indicating that he had received his father's "bribe" gift and would not disturb the couple's sweet moment.
Before leaving, he leaned against the doorframe and poked his head out, asking, "Daddy, isn't there a present for Mommy on the table?"
"Go on, you little rascal, your mommy's here with me." Norrexis shook her head helplessly as she listened to her daughter's laughter fading into the distance.
"Miss and young master, please follow me." The butler led Bian Xiao to the inner reception room, where a pile of boxes of various sizes were placed on the table.
"Hmm? It doesn't seem to be jewelry."
The pure black metal box was clearly not for storing necklaces or jewelry.
"Which one is for me?" Bian Xiao asked curiously, bending over with his hands behind his back, without even looking up.
“This is for you,” the butler said, pointing to the two small square boxes at the top. “This is for you, young master.”
Bian Xiao picked it up and saw that it was heavy. Sure enough, the top of the box was engraved with V·L, which was the initials of her full name. He opened it and took a look.
"Is this a newly developed one?" Bian Xiao picked up the pistol from the box and examined it closely, his eyes shining.
"Yes, Miss," the tall man next to her said to Bian Xiao and his sister in a serious tone, as if he were a robot.
"At least Daddy didn't send any jewelry this time." Bian Xiao really liked the gun.
"Are all these new items?" Bian Xiao's mouth watered as he looked at the table full of new gadgets.
"Yes, miss." The man replied succinctly.
"Shall we go play for a while?" Bian He suggested, as eager as his sister.
"Sure, sure!" Bian Xiao turned around and asked the butler behind him, "Is there a shooting range here?"
"Yes, miss."
"Let's make the arrangements now. We'll change our clothes and go shooting practice," Bian He said.
“Yes, yes, just tell Mommy and Daddy that we won’t take up their sweet time and will find something to do ourselves.” Bian Xiao walked up the stairs and turned back to the housekeeper.
"Miss, this is your room." The maid led Bian Xiao upstairs, pushed open the door, and entered the suite's living room.
The minimalist southern Italian resort style features a round floor-to-ceiling window in the bedroom that allows ample sunlight to filter through the leaves and scatter across the wood grain, creating a fresh and natural ambiance.
Bian Xiao glanced at it briefly, changed into sportswear, tied his hair up high to reveal his full and smooth forehead, and let his loose hair fall down the sides of his face, looking energetic and lively.
As soon as I stepped outside, I saw my older brother standing at the door.
"Brother!" Bian Xiao crashed into Sadwell's arms like a small cannonball, and heard the man's muffled, low laughter coming from above.
"Baby," Sadwell said, linking arms with her younger sister and letting her bounce around beside her. "Watch your step," she said.
“Brother, you’re here while I was just changing clothes! I was just telling Phil that we were going to go shooting, do you want to come with us? I told the housekeeper tonight we’re going to eat at sea, we’ll get a bigger one, and after dinner I want to play the piano with you.” Bian Xiao rattled off a whole string of words.
Sadwell lowered his eyes gently and answered, one sentence at a time, "Aleria said you were coming today." So he rushed over as soon as he finished everything.
"That's perfect!" Bian Xiao smiled brightly.
"Do you like the gun? That pistol was specially customized to fit your hand shape."
"I love it, brother!" No wonder when they measured her body measurements to remake her underwear last time, they also measured her hands. She thought it was for jewelry, but it turned out to be for biubiubiu. "So it was your idea?"
Sadwell nodded with a smile.
Bian Xiao smiled even more broadly, "I knew Daddy was suddenly so good at giving gifts, he really is my older brother."
"My father initially wanted to give me a tourmaline from Mivali."
"Hahahaha," Bian Xiao laughed, leaning against Sadwell, his ponytail swaying behind him.
Sadwell put his arm around his sister, his deep green eyes filled with laughter, and said gently, "Of course you can play the piano tonight. I'll have them bring the piano up later. You and Phil can practice target shooting, and I'll take care of the rest."
The two walked downstairs chatting as they went.
Bian He was already sitting in the car. Hearing Sadwell's voice, he leaned out and asked, "Big Brother?"
"Phil" Sudwell nodded, helped Bian Xiao into the car, and then got in himself.
